Thank you. I was thinking the exact same thing. Look, I like Scott, but after Scott's second performance, some people gave him a standing ovation and these three girls were not even clapping all that hard. I seriously think no one from Scott's home town could make it this week, so one of two things happened:1) Scott called an Escort Service and hired some "friends" 2) AI found three of the hottest girls they could, told them they had won free tickets, then stuck them in the friends of Scott section and pretended they knew him. Obviously, the producers don't want Scott to win. Obviously, he sucks, sings like he's on karaoke night, appears to be schizophrenic with all the conversations he has with himself, is violent, and looks like a tub of lard. Not much they can work with there, in terms of getting a career going and making some real money.However, we know a lot of Constantine fans are going to be voting for Scott, deliberately to try to stick the producers with a loser. So, in my view, the production is talking Scott up, acting like he's absolutely cushy, has all these hot chicks lining up to be his "friends," giving him ample opportunity to say something scary that will put off the voters, etc. At least, that's what I'd do, if I were the person who was going to be stuck with managing this clod as an artist after the show is over.

I'm a Constantine fan but there's NO way I'd vote for Scott! He did a great rendition of "On Broadway" but that is the ONLY performance he has done so far that wasn't horrible. Besides, wasn't he one of the guys from the beginning who didn't learn the song he was supposed to then Simon, in a moment of weakness, alowed them to progress???--Donna :~)

And a decent one. But let's face it, the kinds of songs that Scott sings (and his vocal style) is very popular and sells lots of units, and that's ALL the producers care about. And that's why they may not want Bo to win. It's possible the producers believe that Scott could sell more units than Bo could. Both have huge fan bases, but Scott's is more rabid.

There was another group shot of a different group of "Scott's friends" later in the show. Average age of the trio? About 60. Or were those "Bo's freinds"? Whoever.The director calls for a three shot in the audience, the graphics dude lays in the text - VIOLA, Scott's got some friends in the audience. Nothing about this show is legit, folks.

I seriously doubt those are his friends.I'll never forget when I went to a taping of the Late Show w/Craig Kilborn and learned about 'babe row' (the show's terminology, not mine). Basically, the producers would find 3-4 attractive women and sit them in the front row, left side of the audience. The warm-up guy basically, pulled certain girls out of their seats to sit them there. It was explained that this was done in case they wanted to get a shot of the audience, the girls would be front and center. If you watch American Idol, more often than not, there are attractive girls in the front rows right behind the judges.
