"So long, Nadia"
Read an interesting theory that the ratings increase as the season goes along, combined with bad song/hair choices, is gonna cost Nadia this week.

Every week for the past few, she's had increasingly bad performances (Time After Time, anyone) and the new viewer/voters that join us ach week will have missed her good early performances and only seen the more recent not-so-good performances, and that mohawk.

Add to that the reverse for Vonzell of getting better each week, and it totals up to a Nadia funeral video.

New from Sigs by Syren!!

Keep lookin' up, cuz that's where it all is. o-

I agree. Although I kind of resented Simon's comment about thinking Vonzell would go first, but now he thinks Nadia, last night. As if we couldn't possibly vote two black women on and Nadia and Vonzell were an "either/or" combo platter.

I really liked Nadia. Tells you how important the friggin song selection really is.

I think the only people who want Scott gone more than most of us at this forum are Hall and Oates. But I don't think it's gonna happen. Yet.

Perhaps Scott is this season's Carmen. Who knew?

Nadia had a stage presence that was outstanding and a voice to equal it. I know some of her choices were different but they were still a zillion times better than anything Scott does. He waddles two steps forwards and waddles two steps backwards, stabbing himself in the chest with his hand or finger and trying to have the "brother" thing going on. I have more "soul" in my blood than he does. He makes me sick. His "attitude" and anger are so "out there" that he turns everyone off. Apparently not enough to make a difference.........yet, but he will. Nadia will continue on with her career and let God take lead of her life, so like she said, "Look out, I'll be back", she will and I will buy everything she makes. God speed, Nadia, it just wasn't the right time for whatever reason God saw fit. I persoanlly don't think he wanted you around the likes of Scott, who knows he may go postal and shoot everyone one day at rehersal and your life will be saved. We never now why, just trust, honey.

Question?

Has anyone else ever done something that you have regreted? I mean, in a weak instant, has anyone else ever said words that you wish you could take back? Or in a stressful second, has anyone else ever responded in a way totally contrary to who you really were? Hmmmm! Truth be known, we are all a whole lot weaker than we at times present ourselves to be.

Now my point!

I don't know Scott Savol personally but of all the AI finalists, I know more about him than anyone else, simply because, he has been open from the start concerning his life. His past mistakes have been discussed extensively and from the opening interviews the press have spoken - Scott Savol did not hide his shortcomings. Every song that he has sung has in some way been connected with his pain. Basically, his story is being told in his performances.

I cannot relate to him in the sense of his specific anger actions in the past BUT I can relate to him because I too have said and done things that to this day I still regret! So can everyone who sincerely looks back and sees that their deeds have not been absolutely perfect. Furthermore, some of the posts concerning Scottie have been so hateful and degrading proving that there are those who in their own personal anger have responded just like Savol did - at least he has realized his mistake.

He has connected with America because in some small way, we all have walked a similiar path! The past is the past - I live, not contigient on yesterday's wrongs, but trying to do my best today as I walk toward a greater tomorrow!

Scott Savol does have a stained past - we all know that by now - but he also has a gift he wants to share - and this may be his way of finding peace through singing his song!

Weak performances - YES, same can be said of all the finalists left. I kinda believe Scott's best are yet to come! We will see.

Sing on Scott Savol!

Nadia was the epitomy of stage presence, voice and talent. I am just sick to see her go but not worried about her. My belief is the same as hers, God is in control of her life and he will guide and direct her life in the way it should go. Don't worry, honey, as you said, "We haven't heard the last of you yet" and I will buy everything you make. Don't let anything get you down, it's totally up to you and what you have just experienced was a
"stepping stone" to your success. God speed
