colie3476 2 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 12-09-03, 09:51 PM (EST) "Nicole and Paris" I usually don't watch reality shows, I find them very boring. But, Nicole and Paris are toooooo funny. I find the girls to be witty and delightful. I think it is great they have money, looks, and are pampered. I don't think this is a bad thing. Are they spoiled, of course. Do they just wanna have fun, yes, and that is what this show is all about. I laughed so hard last night when they were "working" at Sonic I almost peed my pants. They are spontaneous and witty...and despite their tremendous wealth , strike me as uncommonly polite and sensitive to the feelings of others. "RE: Nicole and Paris" I definitely like the show, but I can't really like anyone who is so solipsistic as not to realize how to be a good guest (ironic for a hotel heiress), how privileged they are, or how to treat people. It's really almost a waste of a life. That being said, I have to believe that their antics are staged. "RE: Nicole and Paris" I enjoy watching Paris and Nicole more than the "Rich Girls" on MTV because Paris and Nicole have so much fun and are always laughing. Unlike the "Rich Girls" on MTV who often seem to make up drama to be serious about. However, if The Simple Life is not staged, it is somewhat troubling. The old women were being so nice to them, trying to show them how to quilt and all, and Nicole fell on the floor screaming "They're just squares!" That seemed pretty disrespectful and rude. And the Sonic stuff WAS hilarious, but Paris and Nicole didn't seem to realize that the other people working their might really need the money, and Paris and Nicole basically robbed them of some it by getting paid but making everyone's job harder and creating messes for the others to clean up. It has to be staged though, right? I mean, they suggested the old women put cigarette burns on their quilts. And I read ta quote from Paris where she said she knew what Walmart was but thought it would be funny to ask, "Is that a place where they sell walls?" The directors must have told them to ham it up.
