Cyndimaus 3117 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 09-25-08, 01:02 PM (EST) "Canadian OT" I just want to thank you for the incredible things I saw yesterday over in Pasco, Washington. My family and I were able to go to an air show (our first) and one of the main parts was the Snowbirds. They are incredible! My 8 year old son was oohing and ahhing the whole time they were in the air. While we very much enjoyed watching the F-15 before them and the A-10 after them all the boys listed the Snowbirds as their favorite. My best friend's brother-in-law is on the demo team (he does the commentary during the flight) for the AirForce's A-10 so he scored us VIP tickets. After the show the boys got to climb up onto the A-10 and got autographs of the whole team. Anyway, seeing the Snowbirds made me think of you guys! This patriotic mouse salutes Sharnina!   Top

"RE: Canadian OT" Even though I've never seen the Snowbirds, I know air shows are fun. This past spring break we saw the Blue Angels practice twice at NAS Pensacola (Florida). On the second day they brought in the pilots for a meet-and-greet and DS got all their autographs. It was a lot of fun. agman's got me ready for fall   Top

"RE: Canadian OT" The Snowbirds are my favorite flying team, which probably makes me unpatriotic. Cyndi, I used to live a mile from Fairchild AFB and about eight years ago the Snowbirds were the feature attraction at the base's airshow. The day before the actual event I spent all day outside watching them practice. I was absolutely amazed by them. I've seen the Blue Angles and other aerial groups and none of them came close the show the Snowbirds put on. I would love to see them again. I didn't realize they were just in Pasco!   Top

The employer I currently work with provided a grant that enable them to come to Victoria for a free air show for everyone who lives in this lovely city...and I ensured that we had a blurb on our website with all the relevant info on them.
