When she came into the SO House, her story was that she turned to prostituting when her husband left her because she had no education or skills. Now when she is talking to the job advisor she feels that she has SO MANY skills...she knows ALL ABOUT computers because her dad had a computer store...apparently she feels she has lots of writing skills and people skills also. She just stopped escorting a few weeks ago, and hasn't had any "additional" education, so she must have thought she had these skills PRIOR to making the decision to prostitute herself.And why did she seem kinda put off initially that the woman brought up her lack of a high school diploma? I interpreted her facial expression as kind of offended. It's like she is looking for a high-paying job, but wants to find a way of doing it without having to acquire an education. I wish she'd move along on the GED thing, if for no other reason than she can stop being so irritated by the statement that she doesn't have one...first by TJ, and now by the job advisor.

When I pointed out weeks ago that TJ was correct in telling Christina that she didn't have an education, I was told that was mean ole TJ doing her "thang." Hellll0oooo folks! TJ has been telling the bald a** truth to poor, naive, young Christina and the chick did not want to listen then! Why would she listen to a job counselor? Remember, Christina knows best because she is intelligent.

Christina only hears what she wants to hear. You can see her shut down when she doesn't like what is being said. She is too immature to be in the house right now and in my opinion no where near ready to "start over. She's living in La La Land if she thinks she can get a decent job with the skills she has right now. I don't see her being really motivated to persue her GED, and I can see her giving up and taking the easy way out, either by stripping and hooking again or finding a sugardaddy to take care of her.

I also thought it was weird she wanted to be a writer, then all of a sudden she wants to be a real estate agent selling million dollar homes, now she wants to be a writer again. First she has to learn to speak properly. Oh well, some people live in la-la land their whole lives. Here is a perfect example of one of them.

Possibly.. the girl changes her mind so much I can't keep track. You are probably right. I don't see her working in either field in the near future however . I graduated from high school and college so I have no idea what is involved in taking the GED but I don't imagine it is as easy as she seems to think it is (she talks like she is going for her driver's licence). Last year Cassie M. did not pass it (I was rooting for her but according to the SO website she was still waiting to hear if she passed the Math portion ) and she took different parts of it more than once.
Maybe she can be a sex coach if things don't pan out. As she stated she has "hands on" experience.

If all she had to do to get into GED classes was to register or enroll...why didn't she do it before now...she's wasted a lot of time...maybe she thought it would just materialize all by itself or that she could con someone into giving it to her...much like her Johns.

I still think it harkens back to the setting and IV. I think many of the guests see themselves as stars in the making being in CA and figure this is a break to get noticed and maybe they don't need to SO but just jump out. I also think IV sends very mixed messages about expectations and having to work for goals to achieve things when she talks about crying to the universe and dreaming and living big and then fails to remember these women don't have a back up job doing inspirational speeches to support them, they need real jobs and skills. They need dreams but they need substance to make those dreams real.I think Christina needs more real work and less out there exercices of shopping for her child's dreams and all the other crazy stuff she's been doing. She needs to be told to get her GED or get out because she can't make any progress until that is done.

What possible jobs could she be qualified for that would required a cover letter? McDonalds won't even hire you without a high school education unless you are currently attending! Most factory jobs even require a high school education. I can not even imagine making a living without have a college degree and I still struggle to pay the bills!

That's the point she thought she was perfectly qualified for 4 jobs she had no training for. She even applied to be a dental assistant which last time I checked requires some training. She has no clue that people are going to expect experience that doesn't come from a pole and more education than even the GED she doesn't have. However a GED would be a good place to start.

Maybe the casting director was a man and that is the only reason Skanky McSkank is in the SO house/on tv? It's sad. I don't think she has any motivation or intention to hit the books. She wasn't interested when she was 16 and she isn't interested now. Who wants to study when you can have fun? So what is she going to do with her skanky, conning, immature, uneducated behind? The woman who interviewed her today asked her where she was enrolled to get her GED (she stated she was in the "process" of getting it at the time of the interview) and she had to tell her that she was not enrolled anywhere and not actively in the process of getting it at the moment and it made her look like an a**. That and of course her lack of experience, going in late and her outfit really made her look like she does not have a clue(which she obviously does not).
She seemed p***ed off at the interviewer like "how dare you ask me these things".
At least Lisa admits that she is clueless!

3. Cleaning houses I couldn't believe (I only heard the show and didn't watch) that she thought she had the skills to be a manager of a furniture store, or writing for a newspaper. Most papers require 4 year college degrees to write for them, as does a manager of a store. I really expected her to bring back to the job expert was either a job of washing dishes in a restaurant or for a nanny. Maybe hostessing at a restaurant. I wouldnt trust her to baby sit my child or to clean my house. First off we don't know where she had Jackson stay while she was hustling johns. Maybe she just dropped him off with anyone. Seondly she is a self confessed theif. She freely admits to robbing johns so why would she not help herself to anything she comes across in someones home? She has no conscience, no feelings of regret or remorse. She seems to light up when she gets a chance to talk about her former life. She thinks of herself as beautiful and pretty, neither of which I think applies to her. She looks hard, just like she is. She does not know how to dress appropriately for a job interview and cares not that she keeps someone waiting to interview her. She will continue the hustle because that is what she knows best. She is not going to settle for $8 an hour when she can hustle $1000. Iyanla should smell the lie here.

Actually she could work for a t-shirt screen printing factory, they don't require you to have any kind of education just be over the age of 18. Being able to count to 12 is about the hardest part of the job, of course it only pays min. wage so she probably wouldn't want it.

The rich people will not likely care if you have a GED or not, and you can use your con artist skills to trick them into thinking you are a nice sweet young innocent and naive girl. Third
You can use Jackson as evidence that you are a great care giver and again trick them into thinking that just because you gave birth to a child that you can also take care of their children. Fourth
Once you are hired and have your room in the house, you can begin taking inventory of all the expensive things they own that you could steal and sell to a pawn shop. Make sure you write them all down in your little notebook because it would be a shame if you forgot something in your rush to steal. Fifth
You can use the same skills of bonding with a child (like you did when baby Chloe made an appearance in the SO house) and then the kids will be your puppets. Sixth
And this is important Christina, so take your notes!
Whenever the wife is away and you are alone with the husband, use all your whoring and stripping skills to seduce him and make sure you lie about taking birth control. At this point your goal is to make this man use his "little head" and to get him to get you pregnant. Ideally you will have his child, get him to divorce his wife, and you can be the wife of a wealthy man! Wow! Now you too are a millionaire and can prance around in your skanky dresses having affairs with other millionaires while the poor sap is away. Worst case, the guy does not divorce his wife but is then forced to make nice big child support payments to you. After all, child support is calculated using a formula where the man's income is a big factor. So there! I have laid out a perfect plan that uses all of our dear Christina's skills. She does not have to work in a real job, she does not have to study to get her GED, and she does not have to go back to street whoring or strip clubs.

Snowflake, the only normal person in that house is Dr. Stan, the one who knows that Christina is a con! I thought she prostituted when she was 16 because her husband told her she could make a lot of money that way. Did I misunderstand? If not, then this means she's being doing this for four years! If a person came late and dressed like that to an interview, they will be shown the door right away. The lady was nice that she even gave her advice in a nice way.

Bottom line is Christina wants the easy way out of situations. That's why coning people and prostitution were so appealing to her. She didn't have to work hard, and she made lot's of money. When she realizes all the effort she will need to put in to make a ligitament life for herself, she will end up going back to her old life style.
When my marriage broke up, I worked at McDonalds to support myself and my child. It may not have paid a lot, but I got by, and I did not have to feel ashamed of myself, for earning money legitimately. I have moved on from McDonalds now, my life has improved greatly. All it took was hard work, and setting goals for a better life.
