"TAR7 Hawkeye 10 Ep 5/6 Revenge of the bottomfeeders"
Oooookay. Everyone got snacks and a drink? Time to dig deep and contemplate your responses to this week's Hawkeye 10.

1. Even Amber commented on Rob’s frustrations during the spear roadblock. When their luck is not really good, Rob is to patience as __________is to ____________?

2. Lynn’s hatred of Rob and Amber is getting worse. Despite the fact that all other teams only slowed down and none actually stopped and got out at the brothers’ roll over, only Rob and Amber were castigated by Lynn for not helping. What could Rob do that would redeem him in Lynn’s eyes?

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightening was compared to bombing in Bagdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?

6. Uchenna refused to make eye contact with any of the lions. In children, avoidance of eye contact often indicates guilt. What could Uchenna feel guilty about that involves the lions?

7. Where did Lynn and Alex hone their skills at following directions, road signs and finding airports?

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?

I have a perfect body, however, it's in my trunk and beginning to smell.

2. "RE: TAR7 Hawkeye 10 Ep 5/6 Revenge of the bottomfeeders"
1. Even Amber commented on Rob’s frustrations during the spear roadblock. When their luck is not really good, Rob is to patience as __________is to ____________?
Rob is to patience as Ray is to class.

Clearly, falling over dead is Rob’s only option here.

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightening was compared to bombing in Bagdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?
Basic training - a demanding person barking orders and calling him “maggot”.

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)
Chrome?

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?
He knew that since he and Deana have no rhythm when working together (many teams did not, and this amuses me), that this would give the brothers the chance to catch up so that he and Deana could be eliminated. He was only thinking of us, the viewers. Nice guy.

6. Uchenna refused to make eye contact with any of the lions. In children, avoidance of eye contact often indicates guilt. What could Uchenna feel guilty about that involves the lions?
He ripped off their patented roar at the food challenge.

7. Where did Lynn and Alex hone their skills at following directions, road signs and finding airports?
Uchenna and Joyce have been helping them out.

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?
Rob and Amber - no $$ to con artists.

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?
Well, no organ meat or tripe, for damn sure...they seem like the burgers and fries type, to me. With a couple of brewskies.

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?
Probably ran into a door...once or twice.

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?
That nice plump woman at Mendela’s place.

LMAO at the questions and your new sig line.
Welcome, Max! Loved that show back in the 80's.

1. Even Amber commented on Rob’s frustrations during the spear roadblock. When their luck is not really good, Rob is to patience as __________is to ____________?
Amber is to decisiveness

Wait at the final pitstop and invite Lynn and Alex to step on the mat first and win the million.

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightening was compared to bombing in Bagdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?
Being captured and led to prison.

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)
Sucking up to get on SAS and TAR.

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?
He was afraid of looking bad when she could suck it up better than he could. Then he'd be beaten by the old people and his girlfriend.

6. Uchenna refused to make eye contact with any of the lions. In children, avoidance of eye contact often indicates guilt. What could Uchenna feel guilty about that involves the lions?
He was worried they would sniff out that he had eaten more meat in Argentina than he was about to throw to them. He felt like a stuffed Thanksgiving turkey ready to be devoured.

7. Where did Lynn and Alex hone their skills at following directions, road signs and finding airports?
Bar - or in this case gay club hopping.

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?
Rob and Amber wouldn't help and Rob would find a way to take $5 from them.

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?
Mom will have a traditional Argentinean bbq ready for them.

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?
She's alergic to cats and those were some big ones.

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?
Uchenna - see my answer about his guilt.

Copied questions to word document: Answered without looking at later posts. Hopefully most will be new.

1. Even Amber commented on Rob’s frustrations during the spear roadblock. When their luck is not really good, Rob is to patience as __________is to ____________?
Rob is to patience as Burger King’s Enormous Breakfast Sandwich® is to dietary common sense.

Committing Hara-kiri leaps to mind.

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightening was compared to bombing in Baghdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?
Saddam Hussein and his spider hole.

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)
Those three super-sized Double Big Gulp® Cherry Slushies he had at the earlier pit stop just wore him out.

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?
Pounding just makes Deana feel sooooo manly.

Have you ever driven in ComptonNorth Hollywood late at night?

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?
Ray and Deana would not have donated to Ray and Deana because it would be the ‘smart thing’ to do under the circumstances.

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?
Twoallbeefpattiesspecialsaucelettucecheesepicklesonionsonasesemeseedbun, every hour, one the quarter hour, until the Roaming Gnome® is finally put to rest.

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?
Ray was trying to gently brush away a momma painted lady butterfly that had alighted on Deana’s cheek. But just as he was making his move, he hallucinated Rob’s continence on the butterfly’s wings.

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?
The lions would have preferred Romber, because they had bet all of their Jims02 tokens on Rupert to win A.S.S.

1. Even Amber commented on Rob’s frustrations during the spear roadblock. When their luck is not really good, Rob is to patience as Bacon is to couches after a big WVU win (or loss).

Well, he could poke out Lynn's eyes, thus solving the problem.

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightning was compared to bombing in Bagdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?

Digging a new latrine.

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)

From inhaling all that "dirty waa-ter, of Boston, you're my home . . ."

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?

Until he and Deana were eliminated, Ray was unconvinced about the degree to which he could suck.

6. Uchenna refused to make eye contact with any of the lions. In children, avoidance of eye contact often indicates guilt. What could Uchenna feel guilty about that involves the lions?

Going to one of their home games in the last 5 years.

7. Where did Lynn and Alex hone their skills at following directions, road signs and finding airports?

From trying to get from West Hollywood to Long Beach without going through Compton.

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?

All of them, but especially Brian and Greg. Actually, they'd have found a way to give him Monopoly money and tell him it was really the new South African currency.

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?

All of the Argentine cow parts that the others didn't eat, plus 47 White Castle burgers (each). And after that appetizer . . .

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?

She started seeing double from being in the hot South African sun, so she figured two of Ray was one more than she could stand.

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?

Mmmmmm . . . Lamber . . . (do I NEED a reason?)

They couldn't have spent more time with the orphaned children for fear that the kids would have acted more mature than them.

Rob just sucks all the time so he's a natural at it.

Ride on a float in next year's Gay Pride Parade with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgance.

3. Ron last compared the 4 pounds of meat to his diet in Iraq. This time, the lightening was compared to bombing in Bagdad, and the desert drive was compared to driving a humvee in Iraq. With what Iraq experience would Rob compare a night on the town with Kelly?

The day the Saddam statues fell. Both involved dragging around a bunch of dead weight embodying a tyrant.

4. Rob showed how much he sucks at the water detour. Where do you suppose he attained that skill? (This is a PG13 board - no chrome references.)

Well, he pretty much sucked in Survivor: Marquesas.

5. Ray has been adamant all during this race that Deana needed to “Suck it up”. So they finally get a detour in which she could, and they choose to pound the corn. What was their reasoning behind this decision?

Ray misread the clue and thought it said something about porn and pounding (the rest of this sentence was removed by the moderators).

6. Uchenna refused to make eye contact with any of the lions. In children, avoidance of eye contact often indicates guilt. What could Uchenna feel guilty about that involves the lions?

He laughed during "The Lion King" when Simba's dad died.

7. Where did Lynn and Alex hone their skills at following directions, road signs and finding airports?

I guess all those episodes of "Dora the Explorer" didn't help much, huh?

8. Gretchen and Meredith received no help from Rob or Ray’s team. However, Ray was the one who moralized that they were not donating money because he felt it would be a big help to the oldsters to be put out of the race. Which team would not have donated to Ray, had he been the one seeking help, and why?

All of them. He voted for Bush, for pity's sake! That money could end up in the "Santorum for President" fund.

9. The brothers, Crash and Bash, started off their leg pretending their clue told them to go home for the pit stop and eat themselves into a coma. What would that meal have consisted of?

Not sure what meal would put them in a coma, but Congress will try to make sure a feeding tube provides them with meals for the 15 years that follow.

10. Obviously we do not see everything that occurs. What happened to Deana’s right eye that it wouldn’t open, causing her to peer out of the left?

She, um, fell. In the shower. And she hit, um, her eye on the, um, (speak up, Ray, I can't hear you) ah, the hot water tap.

Bonus Question: Ron was very willing to feed Kelly to the lions if they jumped into the vehicle. However, the lions may have other ideas. Who would the lions prefer to munch, and why?
Lynn. His laugh makes them think of their favorite meal -- the hyena.

Sorry about the Schiavo thing, really. But you asked for it.
