Why are all of you obsessed with Rob and Amber? Do you realize that the only good "reality" show left is being taken over by survivor? I don't want a good show to be all about backstabbing, lying, cheating and quitting! We already get enough of that crap. Seriously, I look at these posts and the majority of them are about Rob and Amber. I guess y'all don't see that we're being duped by CBS...just a big publicity stunt, and it's working like crazy. Oh well. I guess TV is life for some people.   Top

We know Romber better than any other TAR team and therefore we like to talk about them. 3) It's a fun point of contention around here. Romber, love em or hate em! 4) They are MAKING this season interesting. They bring out cattiness in others and are playing the strategy game. This? Equals fun to talk about. 5) Nobody said we had to give equal time to players. 6) CBS did put them on to increase ratings. How dare a network try to increase show ratings. They did it, it worked, horray for CBS.   Top

You moan about celebs, former reality show contestants and gays -- would you rather have wifebeaters or verbal abuse-spewing contestants such as Jonathan or Colin? No thanks. I'll take Romber over these people any time and Romber are actually making the game far more interesting than it would have been without them. Ron/Kelly would put you to sleep faster than Ovaltine could and most of the others aren't much more exciting than that. Uchenna/Joyce? They appear to be really good people but...snore. Meredith/Gretchen? Okay, but they're slower than molasses. Scratch and sniff   Top

We only like dumb things, en masse. Survivor is taking over all of the other shows. Forget that this kind of cross casting happens, from time to time, with other shows. The "backstabbing, lying, cheating, and quitting" isn't why we watch this show or like the team, either; oh no, it's simply that the brainwashing efforts put into practice by aliens are finally complete, and we are now programmed to cheerlead Rob and Amber. See, Mark Burnett, who, I assume is very rich, must have made illegal contact with an alien nation from a few galaxies away. (At least, I would assume it was illegal, seeing as how some global council would certainly disaprove of some civilian contacting other worlds, but THAT's a debate we've done a million times on this forum, I am sure.) They decided that to make Survivor take over the world other reality shows, they would need to start with this simple plan of brainwashing everyone to "obsess" over Rob and Amber on a different reality show. (If it were me, I would have skipped the aliens and gone in search of a genie-in-a-bottle and just wished my show to send all other reality shows under, but when money's not an object, and you're a bored, rich guy...) I guess y'all don't see that we're being duped by CBS...just a big publicity stunt, and it's working like crazy. I think I just told you, it was aliens. I wonder how you got away? Whey weren't they able to get you? You must have a brilliantly strong mind, or perhaps your house is covered in tin foil. Maybe you can resist the tremendous power of an alien probe. Do tell. It's so sucky liking a team that so many other people like, too. It almost seems, oh... I don't know... normal! and expected! that something that makes a team likeable to one member of the audience might make them likeable to multiple members of the audience. Those kooky aliens, it's always the stuff that seems possible or not that much of a strecth or, follow me here, completely normal that is so completely scary. Just how do they know that?! Put him on another reality show. I used to hate him (at first) on Big Brother 2, but as the show progressed, he was the most entertaining part of it. I find Will and Rob to be very good tv.
