Estee 57126 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 01-26-05, 08:40 AM (EST) "To honor Bolo and Lori..." ...let's quietly count off a minute of silence. (One -- two -- four -- sixteen -- seventeen -- fifty -- seventy-two...) There's just so many things to love about our wrestlers. Fighting 'round the world. Bolo's hair, which basically declared a revolution over the last few episodes and took the skullie as the first casualty. Their unmatchable read-aloud skills, which could turn the name of any city in the world into a comedic masterpiece. Their occasionally-matched reading comprehension level. And their immense skill at magic, which made a train materialize out of nowhere -- but not an admissions pass. It's only the big things, y'know. But most of all, honor them because now that they're out, it's just the conventionally pretty people left, plus Heckboy. And isn't that what CBS wanted all along? The wrestlers are out of the ring. Start throwing chairs on my mark. Three -- two -- one...   Top

I also thought they were more or less equal partners. I have mentioned this elsewhere, but I was very dissappointed that Lori blamed Bolo for the loss. Even the b@stard faked grace at the end. At least he told her that she could also have read the clue. When they were in the tiny tuk tuks, and they passed another team, the shot of Bolo sticking his head out the side and waving back was hilarious.   Top

All the wrestling actions, Lori pushing Bolo's head into the wall while racing towards the plane, Bolo's butchering of place names, Bolo's steroid-hampered gait while running, and many others will put these two into the TAR Hall of Fame for providing so many great moments. One particularly hilarious moment last night was when Bolo was sitting there waiting for Lori to go to the top, he scratched his chin and then the camera cut to a monkey sitting on a branch scratching his chin. Teams cannot keep the pace and pushing so hard and not expect to mistakes. fast, fast, fast, is fine with 10 teams and you are fresh but when you are down to the final five and tired, fast, fast, means mistakes. Lori and Bolo are simply good racers but more importantly, good people.   Top

I guess this thread is beginning to look like it really doesn't belong in Bashers, hmmm? I am going to miss them! They were hilarious! I always got a laugh out of them reading the names of the countries on the clues. They were the funniest team there and I would take them over all the other teams left with the exception of Kris & Jon. I so wish Mary Adam & Rude-becca were gone instead.   Top
