mjames1229 47 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beauty Pageant Celebrity Judge" 11-26-07, 11:53 AM (EST) "Something struck me as a little odd in Ep 4" Did anybody else notice how cabs were <b>everywhere</b> in The Middle of Nowhere, Africa? I don't know if any local that was shown even had a car, and *surprise, surprise* if there were always eight cabs right where the clue boxes seemed to be. Reminds me of TARFE, which had the players going to places where there didn't appear to be any locals anywhere. I don't think the plane in TAR7 was held for Uchenner & Joyce, but I also don't think all eight teams found cell phones and arranged for cabs in advance of getting all of their clues.   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

It wouldn't make sense that they had to go 100 miles by taxi on one ride but weren't given any money to start the leg. I like to see them going new places; and this was pretty far off the beaten path. I don't mind a little prearranged transportation to see some things I don't normally see. "RE: Something struck me as a little odd in Ep 4" One thing that bothered me about the dancing task was that all they needed was a ten minute penalty, then they were on their way. Shoulda been ten minutes, and then they need to dance again. Still don't please the judges? Wait another ten minutes and try again! Repeat as long as it takes to get past the judges.
