"RE: The Duel Episode 11/23/2006 Discussion" I'm thinking a Wes versus Derrick duel with Derrick losing. Reasoning: During the duel they don't show Wes or Derrick in the stands but they show the other males. Also at the very end of the preview Jodi looks disappointed meaning Derrick losing. She is still way too willing to run to the phone and call Mommy and say she wants to go home as soon as there is any kind of frustration and/or confrontation with anyone. I really didn't dislike Beth all that much...I guess I have somewhat of a higher tolerance. Apparently Beth's ranting about the girls being afraid had some truth to it. Robin didn't want to go up against Beth and if Robin didn't then I'm sure the others who act like puppy dogs didn't either. And as for the girls constantly calling Beth fat or a beast...BS!! Last night we got a view of Beth in a bikini top and she is thinner than Robin...in fact she looks as though she lost some weight. Svetty does need to stop running to the phone....I think last night it was Martin and not mommy. "RE: The Duel Episode 11/23/2006 Discussion" I don't care for Beth only because she seemed to revel in the fact of being the bad girl. I do think some of the girls weren't so much afraid of facing off with her but they did realize that she's wasn't a wuss. She actually was a somewhat decent athlete who at least tried each event. I hope the others took note how to do the duel. Wear out your challenger, pretend to walk away and when they go to lean over for the flag, run towards the log and smack the living daylights out of them with it. Having said that, I do think it's pathetic that Beth is still so invested in her post Real World celebrity. Some people like Beth, Mark and Eric Neis just seem like they never grow up. You're in your mid-30's and quickly approaching 40. Please stop embarrassing yourself and stop acting like a 20 year old. "RE: The Duel Episode 11/23/2006 Discussion" I just saw a preview for the next show and I had a moment of wondering "gee who's going to be the bad guy now?" So Beth was entertaining. However I don't want to see her again. Like the above poster wrote, I think MTV needs to retire some of these castmates. Beth is one. Mark had the good sense to bow out during the last one by saying he was done with them at the reunion show. I really don't want to see Robin at anymore.
