The Real World Key West continues to give us a little different view than in season’s past and another change is Hurricane Rita messing with the taping schedule! Rita blew through and relocated the roomies to West Palm Beach. That is where last week left off and batts did a great job with the summary…let’s see what happens this week!The roomies are forced to share one hotel room for the duration of the hurricane. They spend the first few hours watching The Weather Channel wondering when they will be able to return to Key West.
I WOULD LIKE TO INTERRUPT THIS SUMMARY
The late breaking news story out of West Palm Beach is that Skinny was seen in a restaurant eating! Slutty and Skinny take some time away from the others to get a bite to eat at a place that serves salads. Skinny is seen eating a leaf of lettuce, a slice of cucumber, couple shreds of cheese and two bites of bacon bits. Skinny’s stomach is now closed for the season! I now take you back to your regularly scheduled summary already in progress.
Skinny tells Slutty that she is a bulimic, anorexic lesbian. OY! That is all we need to add to this already circus type atmosphere…a sick, starving Burkenstock wearing cock blocker!
I suddenly realize that Slutty is rather large or Jose is extremely small as Jose is seen in a bar with John wearing her t-shirt. The T-shirt in question reads, “It’s not easy being EASY”! If Jose were easy he would have been all over the topless bimbo in a thong a couple of weeks back. I think Jose is a big tease and full of words but less action.
Being cramped-up in a hotel room has really gotten to the roomies so they decide to go out dancing and partying. Everyone is having a good time meeting others and just mingling around. Skinny meets a cutie (cute but a total idiot) named Alex as he proclaims that she (Skinny) is “so cute”. I almost barfed as easily as Skinny did after the salad from earlier in the day but I did my best to hold it in. Dood must like beanstalks…just sayin!
The night continues with Bobby (gay guy cruising Ty from across the bar) giving Ty a “come %$^# me look” that finally brings the two together. As they talk and get to know each other, John starts giving them a hard time. John continues harassing the two until Ty reaches a breaking point!
I just realized that the MTV cameramen have to be the worst paid camera peeps in the history of the world, as we know it! Ty throws his drink on John and John retaliates but the cameras catch absolutely nothing! All we get to see are the wet shirts…FIRE THE CAMERAMEN! Queen Ty has had enough and packs his toys and goes home. However, he did leave his Eveready batteries lying all over the place for Bobby to follow him home.
The next day John and Ty have a long talk and end up kissing and making things all better. The problems with these two have been solved but others just keep destroying themselves.
This bazaar 3-ring circus continues as everyone goes out dancing the next night. Alex (cute but an idiot) and Skinny are out having a great time with everyone else. Slutty is out on the dance floor living it up when all of a sudden IT hits Skinny harder and faster than her ex-boyfriend ever could! Skinny is suddenly second choice to every man in the bar and Slutty is wanted by everyone! Bitch goes from having a good time to crying and having a nervous breakdown. During said breakdown, Skinny tells Alex (cute but an idiot and complete stranger) about her ex-boyfriend using her as a punching bag and putting her in the hospital.
There is absolutely nothing Skinny can say or do at this point to save face with me. She HAS to be the center of attention or nothing. If everything isn’t about her…it soon will be. The attention whore gets no slack from me here on out. She needs help and nothing will change until she gets it.
Alex (cute but an idiot) puts everything into perspective when he says, “what kind of girl still loves a guy that beats the sh!t out of her?” I would like to know myself Alex (cute but an idiot)…I would like to know.
The hurricane is over and they go back to Key West. They have a little damage to their house but nothing major. Everything is back to “normal” in the real world as John and Skinny make-up by having a heart-to-heart chat.
Before I end, I would like to bring something up for discussion. At the beginning of the season MTV showed us previews of a scene where a window gets blown out and it appears the idiots are in a hotel room. Does another hurricane disrupt their visit to Key West or was that scene just not shown during this episode?
