"Arrested Development"
Arrested Development in my opinion is the best new comedy serie on television....This year, Arrested Development has won five Emmy Awards!!! And now, the season one is coming out on dvd on October 19th...
The three-disc set includes all 21 episodes from Season One along with the series creator’s original cut of the pilot episode, Ron Howard’s sneak peek at Season Two, deleted scenes, featurettes, original songs, cast audition tapes, a blooper reel and more

This dvd seems to be awesome!!!

Thank goodness Ron Howard is behind this show. His clout may be the only reason Fox hasn't decided to ditch it. Not that they're afraid of him, they just see the wisdom of giving something with such a big name behind it more of a chance than they give a lot of series.
Least, that's my unresearched impression of the situation. There's probably a lot more to it.
The critics loving a series has rarely been enough to keep something on air, and NEVER indefinitely. It's GOT to pick up viewers fast. But...duh.
The great thing about this show is that while intelligent people can laugh at it, the humour isn't highbrow. It's got a lot of sight gags as well as physical comedy. I think it's appealing on every level.
But, this is just another rave of a viewer about a show that will probably be cancelled cause people are too busy watching stuff like "Joey". gah.

I'll be extremely disappointed if this rare and wonderful series is cancelled.

I would be too. Especially now that it's won a few Emmy's.
Can't wait for the new season to start!!

4. "RE: Arrested Development"
After hearing so much about this show, but never seeing it on my tv, I finally caught some eps on late night tv. I.LOVE.THIS.SHOW. I usually detest sitcoms but this had be laughing out loud.

Why can crap like "Friends" be on for 10 years, but this was on for what...three?

5. "Movie in the Works"
Now this is good news to Arrested Development fans!

Source:
And now… amazing news. Jason Bateman has confirmed that talks are underway to turn the show into a film. According to Jason, all members of the cast are on board, only if the creator Mitch Hurwitz is rightly compensated.

6. "RE: Movie in the Works"
As usual I cottoned onto this long after it finished and will agree that it was great comedy. That said, not certain how it would translate on the big screen. Are there other comedies that made the transition successfully?

Generously crafted by Agman.
