"Mr. Monk and the Final Season"
Got quite a kick out of tonight's kick-off rip-off The Brady Bunch episode. A sub-par Monkisode in many ways, unfortunately, because there was really no mystery to solve until midway through. But the character development really worked, oh yeah. Or maybe I'm kidding myself and they set out to prove to everyone this needs to be their last season.

ARRRRRRR!!!!

All I know is that if the last episode doesn't end with Adrian having solved Trudy's murder, I'm gonna be hellapissed.

Agree, solving Trudy's murder should be part of this final season. From what I've read the final two episodes will be a two-parter, so that's a good sign they may be dealing with that complex case.

I loved Mr. Monk and the Dog! I also liked a few episodes ago (Happy Birthday Mr. Monk) when Stottlemeyer found out that the real name of T.K., his new girlfriend, was Trudy.

I don't understand something from the finale. Trudy was running from a guy with six fingers, yet that oddity was never mentioned again. What gives?

C'mon, mrc, don't ruin it by asking all kinds of questions about the red herrings mysteries the writers never addressed. After all, the show was really about the CHARACTERS.

Seeing if Lost's catch-all rationalization works as a catch-all excuse for other shows as well.
