trshtvjnky 197 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Blistex Spokesperson" 05-13-03, 02:32 PM (EST) "6FU" You know, Six Feet Under?? Haven't posted on OT forever, but I was curious if anyone watches this show on HBO. What do you think of this season? Better than the last two? Worse? I admit, I had a hard time getting into it this year, but the past few episodes have been pretty good (with the exception of the Ruth/Arthur love story -- love the character Arthur, but Ruth as a stalker, just bugged me!) I am also loving David this year -- I felt so bad during the last episode that he finally opened up with all of his fears about his relationship with Keith and then looked over and Nate wasn't listening (I know why he wasn't, but it just made me sad!) Also thought the Leading Ladies brunch and Paint Ball episodes were hysterical! So Nate and Lisa – do you like this? What do you think has happened to her? (BTW - checked out the spoiler board on HBO.com and it is awful! We need the mods here to go over there and clean some HOUSE!) Claire/Russell/Olivier triangle, that was a shock! But I have loved Claire's reactions to the situation. Curious to see what Russell is going to do next. Of course we cannot forget the whole Billy/Brenda situation. Not quite sure what I think about this, but I must admit, it didn’t surprise me. This show is my favorite thing on TV right now, so I would love to hear anyone’s opinions on it!   Top

Mon Cherie 1813 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Herbal Healing Drugs Endorser" 05-13-03, 02:52 PM (EST) 1. "RE: 6FU" Oh, I love the HBO shows, especially SFU. I didn't really like this season when it first started, but it seems to be getting back into the groove. Arthur cracks me up, I don't care what is going on with him as far as Ruth is concerned, I just love how kooky he is. I always love David, he's too simple for his own good. I also like that we are learning more about Keith this season. Claire is my girl. Don't know where the whole Russell thing is going, but I feel we haven't seen the last of him. Nate and Lisa- I love Lili Taylor, but anyone who comes in the way of Nate and Brenda needs to go. I don't think Lisa will be coming back any time soon, and we'll see more Nate/Brenda interaction. Billy/Brenda- Let's be honest. Billy is way hot. Still, I think he needs to be in a padded room somewhere. It didn't surprise me either when he kissed Brenda, in my mind it was a long time coming. "RE: 6FU" LAST EDITED ON 05-13-03 AT 02:57 PM (EST) Cooker and I are watching....missed it last week though because of survivor final....Probably watch it tomorow. (don't tell me what happened). I think it has been great....not sure if better or worse than previous years. Nate and Lisa - I don't like her. I think he needs to dump her and take the kid. kick her *ss back to that freaky life she lived before. Arthur - Like him. Very creapy...Like to see him bang Ruth...now that is must see TV. Russell - Knew he was gay from day one....Claire should go out and find some other wacked out drug addict to sleep with(love a red headed tramp, did i mention cooker has red hair). The guy she had in high school was a lot more fun. You never knew what he was going to do. I think the thing they have really moved away from is the funeral home. In the beginning of the show it was a focal point...The strange deaths, the families and how both the deceased family behaved and Nate and David behaved.   Top

"RE: 6FU" I think he was in the first episode when Nate was having all of those dream sequences during his surgery. I have read other boards where they think this whole season has been Nates dreams while on the operating table. What do you think of that? I think that Alan Ball is a little more creative than to do something like that, save it for the shows that want to disregard a really bad season, like the last episode of Rosanne.   Top

"RE: 6FU" it is strange how Mr. Fisher hasn't been around during any of this and that they have moved away from all the ghosts around the funeral home....wonder if they are setting us up for some "dreams while un surgery" thing....the promos keep saying that everything will become clear in the final episode this season. Sick, huh? I probably like her storyline the best. Her fight with her teacher (whatshisname?) was great. She seems to always say exactly what the audience is thinking. The Dave/Keith storyline is kind of slow. I mean, I'm somewhat homo-phobic, but Dave and Keith doesn't bother me that much. I'm used to that by now (except that 3-some thingy). It's when that one creepy white guy comes along and hits on David that freaks me out... Lisa drove me bats all season. I'm not saying that I'm happy that she's gone, but the woman just gets on my nerves!!! Does anyone think that Ruth and her new lover ("That'll do pig") look a lot like the painting "American Gothic"?
