WOW !!!!! The ending was better than I ever expected it could be. It was action packed, hilarious and the final shot was classic. All those funny scenes, like Andrew, Giles and Xander playing that "Dungeons and Dragons" game, while Andrew wore a Little Red Ridinghood cape. The sex talk between Faith and Principal Woodhouse was priceless. Anya getting all roused up about the bunnies, before she died. And Andrew lying to Xander, by telling him Anya died saving his life. There is another Hellmouth in Cleveland. LOL !!!!! Sunnydale being completely destroyed. All the Slayerettes are now slayers. The original Scoobies gathering at the center of the school's entrance (how appropriate that the show's climax was at the high school) and talking about going shopping, while Giles moaned how he was ignored, was a great flashback to the original episodes. And the three landmark moments: 3. Buffy and Angel's final scene together. 2. Spike sacrificing himself. It almost makes up for all the evil he did in his life. 1. And the shows (the entire series for that matter) finest moment, was appropriately it's last. As Buffy realizes that she might actually have a life, now that the world is full of Slayers. Her little smile right before the screen went black, was incredible. Kudos to Joss Whedon, he really gave the true fans of his show, a worthy farewell. This ending will indeed be a classic. GREAT ENDING !!!!! (c) 2002, 03 IceCat Originals, Inc. All rights reserved.

I liked it well enough, not my favorite series finale but it was good. I thought it was weird that Anya was the only one of the central group who died, and I'm not including Spike as we know Spike will be back on Angel. I thought the last scene with Buffy and Angel lacked something but it was cute. I did like the ending shot. Overall a A- rating for me. (c) 2003 GeorgiaBelle Creations,Inc. To be honest, I was disappointed. I wish it had been two hours long. It seemed too rushed to me. There was no surprise that Anya was going to die. Angel being there was pointless, I wish he could have stayed longer. One question, did Kennedy make it out alive? I think I blinked and missed it if she was killed or not. Theres another thing, you see Buffy almost get staked and you know she isn't going to die because, well, been there done that. I do love that Cleveland is the next hellmouth. Can you see it now, Faith the Vampire Slayer, in Cleveland. And it's about the chosen one, hell, I feel like I could be a slayer this morning. Oh well, maybe it's because I wanted this to be the best that I put so much expectations into it.

>To be honest, I was disappointed. >I wish it had been >two hours long. It >seemed too rushed to me. Oh sugar, I think you are just in withdrawl. The episode was near perfect, I hope you taped it like I did. You need to rewatch the whole thing. >There was no surprise that >Anya was going to die. > Angel being there was >pointless, I wish he could >have stayed longer. A major peep had to die, and in this case two did. As for Angel, he was there for closure, not to fight. Remember, he had the necklace, and he was intending to use it himself. That was reserved for Spike. >One question, did Kennedy make it >out alive? I think >I blinked and missed it >if she was killed or >not. Theres another thing, >you see Buffy almost get >staked and you know she >isn't going to die because, >well, been there done that. As for Kennedy, yes she did make it out. I think of the Slayerettes, the only recognizable one that died was the twig, the really skinny one. As for Buffy not dying, you just had to know that "The First" was going to make that final mistake of taunting her, while she was down. It was perfect. >I do love that Cleveland is >the next hellmouth. Can >you see it now, Faith >the Vampire Slayer, in Cleveland. Drew Carey is probably NOT happy this morning. LOL !!!!! >And it's about the chosen one, >hell, I feel like I >could be a slayer this >morning. Sugar, you have always been a slayer in my heart >Oh well, maybe >it's because I wanted this >to be the best that >I put so much expectations >into it. I did too, and then I got an in even better finale than I hoped for. It was a beautifully written and produced hour of TV. I really think you need to watch the episode again. Yes, i agree with ladyt that the finale was a bit rushed, they should've put the last two eps back to back maybe... and i'm sorta glad that they didn't do a whole thing with willow going up to heaven or something cause of her great magic that she pulled. sorta like what happened to cordelia... when she got taken away. and i'm kind of dissapointed that anya died, and not andrew. however, both of them were good comical relief, i just found anya's comedy better. and i wonder how they're having spike on angel next season, if at the end of this, they actually showed him turning to dust. perhaps wolfram and hart are going to raise him like they did with darla? anyone know when faiths new show starts??

LAST EDITED ON 05-21-03 AT 11:22 AM (EST)and i wonder how they're having spike on angel next season, if at the end of this, they actually showed him turning to dust. perhaps wolfram and hart are going to raise him like they did with darla? Don't forget, Spike woke from his dream "drowding in shoes" He's Shashued baby!!!! I'm betting Spike will be human next year! ETA: I loved the final, It may have been rushed, but knowing it was going to be the last made it special in it's own right.

I agree with Katem! The ended the show very well. The writing was terrific and they did pull together lots of loose ends. I liked that she sealed things up with Angel.I agree it maybe should have been 2 hours long instead of just one. However, I read an interview with Joss and he indicated how exhausting it was to come up with a good series finale. Joss indicated that he really wanted to end without the stories being too contrived.

I spent that hour tears of laughter and sadness intermingling on my cheeks. Though I did feel it was just a touch rushed, I think it was perfection. It gave me what I needed to end this 7 year journey. After the show, I cried for about 10 minutes but I think that was mainly because it felt like the end of a really fun section of my life. Buffy nights were always the night that my best friend in Minneapolis and would talk. We'd watch the show and then call each other, discuss the show a bit and then catch up on our weeks. We've been doing that for 7 years. Now what?? Move it to Wednesday's I guess *smile* Thank you Joss, you gave me a wonderful series and I'll always be grateful. Now just make sure that James Marsters removes his shirt just as much on Angel as he did on Buffy! Mrrraao! --loves a nekkid chest shot of Spike

>--loves a nekkid chest shot of >Spike Me too, honey, me too. Maybe because Spike is so much fresher in my mind, I like Spike with Buffy better than I liked Angel with Buffy. I also love Faith too. If SMG wanted to leave, and Eliza Dushka just became the slayer in charge so to speak, and everyone else stayed, I would be so psyched. But overall, I thought the finale was predictable. But I will still miss it.

"I concur" Spike and Buffy was much more...spicy, steamy than Buffy and Angel. For me it's because Buffy was much more assertive and aware of herself with Spike instead of the sappy "teen in love" person she was with Angel. Don't get me wrong, I love Angel...I just like the Spike Buffy couple more! --still has the image of Angels nekkid butt lying on the crypt floor imbedded in her mind

I missed it but in the singing Buffy show, didn't Anya sing about it was the bunnies that did it. So it would seem fitting that she would go out with the bunnies. "Now I will believe that there are unicorns..." William Shakespeare; "The Tempest"

I'm a big loser. I don't get UPN or the WB and i'm forced to watch Buffy reruns on Fox and FX. I'll probably get to see the series finale in about 20 years.
