Estee 55194 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 03-02-12, 07:13 AM (EST) "AI #11 Should Go/Will Go" Make two lists and post them in this thread. The first is a ranking of the contestants as you perceive their talent, working from the least at #13 to the most at #1 -- the order they should be eliminated in if people were voting purely on how strong each performer was. For the second list, consider fanbases, typical audience voting patterns, Shocking Swerves, and future bus throws, then place them in the order you feel the votes will send them out in, again working from #13 to #1. Should Go 13 - Heejun Han (Don't know how he is even here still) 12 - Deandre Brackensick ( I knew they would save him) 11 - Jeremy Rosado 10 - Jessica Sanchez (way over rated to me) 9 - Shannon Magrane 8 - Erika Van Pelt ( I like her but she will never get this far) 7 - Hollie Cavanaugh 6 - Joshua Ledet 5 - Jermaine Jones (glad he is back in) 4 - Elise Testone 3 - Skylar Laine (dark horse) 2 - Colton Dixon (runner-up) 1 - Phil Phillips(winner) Will Go 13 - Erika Van Pelt(we all know a girl has to go first) 12 - Jeremy Rosado (Jennifer will want to save but not unanimous) 11 - Heejun Han 10 - Shannon Magrane ( Here's hoping 5 girls make the tour) 9 - Hollie Cavanaugh ( a tough one to predict were she will go out) 8 - Deandre Brackensick ( this years Stefano, saved, makes my ears bleed more and lasts way too long.) 7 - Elise Testone (this is one that could actually be gone first) 6 - Joshua Ledet 5 - Jessica Sanchez 4 - Jermaine Jones 3 - Skylar Laine (possible finalist and only other potential winner) 2 - Colton Dixon (runner-up) 1 - Phil Phillips (winner) Both lists it's a toss up for me between Phil Phillips and Colton Dixon as to who should and who will win. I think it could go either way. If a girl is going to win, i know the show wants Jessica Sanchez but I think the last girl standing and only one that could win is Skylar Laine. Jermaine Jones: Like his personality, but he's no match for this competition. 11. Hollie Cavanagh: Not that great. 10. Heejun Han: See #12. I like how he gives the finger to the AI establishment, but he won't (and shouldn't) last long. 9. Jessica Sanchez: I didn't think she was that great. 8. Shannon Magrane: See #11. Middle-of-the-road talent. 7. Jeremy Rosado: Good kid, not top-tier. 6. Skylar Laine: Too yelly for my taste. Like Reba on crack. 5. Erika Van Pelt: A better talent than Skylar. 4. Colton Dixon: Probably a talented guy, but I haven't seen anything "wow" from him. 3. Joshua Ledet: A legit Af Am male contender. 2. Phillip Phillips: WGWG, but I like him. 1. Elise Testone: Easily the best singer left. Will go: 13. Hollie Cavanagh: Wallflower will get lost in the shuffle. 12. Jermaine Jones: Will likely collapse from the pressure. 11. Jessica Sanchez: Will probably be saved. 10. DeAndre Brackensick: Should be first out, but will make it to tour. If Jessica is saved, DeAndre will be the one out next, followed by Jessica. 9. Jeremy Rosado: Not enough personality to make an impression. 8. Heejun Han: Fun ride comes to an end. 7. Shannon Magrane: Won't stand out enough to survive longer. 6. Joshua Ledet: Will share the fate of other Af Am males, such as . . . um, yeah. 5. Erika Van Pelt: Unfortunately, will be cut to help along the guys. 4. Elise Testone: Travesty. 3. Colton Dixon: Pimping gets him this far. 2. Phillip Phillips: WGWG has to make F2. It's in AI's contract. 1. Skylar Laine: The female Scotty. "But a female finally won!" Blech. Jeremy -- at least he won't finish last. 7. Colton -- Phillip is a little better than Colton and Heejun fans will have switched to Phillip. 6. Joshua -- not memorable enough. 5. Elise -- older people don't vote en masse (usually). 4. Hollie -- will be competing for votes with Jessica. 3. Skylar -- the country vote won't be enough this time. 2. I'm posting his projected eliminations and a link to his non-PG13 reasoning because the way he's broken this down lightly intrigues me. Is the show that desperate for a female winner and, being that it's FOX in an election year, hoping to make it a specific type? We'll find out... If not, will there be a PTTE this year? I feel so behind...watched some this week but don't know who got the most screen time before that. One thing I noticed was there were fewer clunkers than in years' past. So, kudos to AI for bringing in people who could really sing. Another thing I noticed was that some people were set up to be cannon fodder in the top 24; I am guessing the same holds true for the top 13.
