(And you wondered where the one-week immunity Redemption Island needed wound up.) Based on every trend we've got, this is Haley or Nobody, and it's the wrong week for Nobody. There's so much going on globally that sucks: Japan's earthquake, tsunami, nuclear problems, middle east unrest/ Libiya's fighting/oil skyrocketing, gas prices rising in the US, the pols arguing over the budget and threatening a government shut down where they still get paid but the military won't while the government is shut down, food prices and health care going up... and despite all that, AI was something fun. She has a better, traditional voice than many left, but compared to some of the other performer she was boring. Even if you hate the way some of the others perform, at least it's memorable. Every year, I get tired of the lecture to America. Somebody has to go home, and it is strictly based on votes. So, like it or not, America voted and this is how the vote turned out. When I hear someone sing, I want the 'softer' parts to be just as good as the wailing and hers were weak. Speaking of the wailing, I actually found the note she hit over and over and over and over to be not very pleasant to listen to at all. It hit a spot that was really off for me. I bet if you just heard that, you think less of it. But maybe it's just me, I just never thought she was that good.
