After raising $75 million last year, and putting on a pretty decent show, AI announced they will be doing this again in April.Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin. 
Personally, I liked it and I'm glad that they are putting people ahead of the show production, again.

I wasn't too crazy about the Gives Back show. They tried to do too much by having Ellen in another venue with a separate concert going on. But it is a good idea. Raises a lot of money for Charity.Maybe we could have Jerry Seinfeld shamelessly promote the DVD release of the Bee Movie during the show. The timing should bee about right.

Personally, this doesn't excite me much at all. Last seasons 'extravaganza' was overdone, and honestly took away from the competition. As I said last season, this SHOULD be done between seasons. I think it would be great for a Thanksgiving 'FOX EVENT', and could increase excitement about the upcoming season.Just my usual $0.02. geekboy

I personally love the fact they're doing another charity show. However, this will probably mean that there'll be another round of (not very) "inspirational" music, then a non-elimination show, followed by a double-elimination the following week.
