Do all of you "regulars" in this AI forum ever get together on IRC, or some other form of a chat room? I think it would be fun for all of us to get together and chat live. I didn't seen an AI Room on the realitytvworld.com chat room. do you ever use that one?geekboy

I suggested this a long time ago, when I had Viper Bot. I think it would be a great idea Geekboy, to create a chatroom for AI fans with viper or some other program, so that peeps from this board could moderate as gold, or brown, in an 'auto-host' capacity. If enough people were interested, I could create such a beast with multiple ownerships. I used to hang out in tech chat rooms, and bot chat rooms, and learned a lot there. Nobody ever responded to my interest in such a 'live' chat room with golds and hosts, meetings, site music etc.... so, I just figured anyone here would just wanna talk in this sites 'BAR' chat room, which can be a lot of fun. Only a few AI fans in there at a time though. So I know where you're coming from. Let me know if you find anything Geekboy, or if enough peeps would be interested in a separate live chat. It's actually some work to run a chat room like I spoke of, with the auto hosting program and all, and couldn't, and wouldn't do it by myself.

I frequent another IRC server on a daily basis. I know some people who have access to shell accounts and know how to operate IRC bots.Do you have anything against simply using a public IRC server? Do you think this should be web based for simplicity? I know there are some java browser compatible IRC applications if that's the case. perhaps we'll hear some input from other regulars. geekboy
