Okay, sometimes they actually say "girls and guys" which isn't so bad, but come on....the average age of these contestants is about what, 23? If men and women doesn't sound "fun" enough, what should they call them?

so, guys --> boys = good
but, girls --> girls is fine. ?? uh huh. wouldn't that be "guys and Gals"??
who should stop calling them boys & girls? the judges/host or all of us? I don't see the big deal, and I don't care what they are called, but to each his/her own.

I guess you're both right, but when Ryan says "boys" and Bo and Scott etc. come out, it just seems laughable...I was just venting.

LOL. yes, I hadn't thought of it that way. Scott is no boy. But tho Constantine is 29, he's still more like a Boy. Mikalah otoh, is more like a Woman or even a Ma'am. I think that Ryan uses all of the terms for them interchangeably, can't remember.Part of me thinks they should all be called Ladies & Gentlemen. Part of me thinks that AI is so demeaning or insulting (especially Ryan's dialogues/jokes/self-deprecation), that How they are referred to, is the least of their problems.

Let's vent some more:Dear Ryan - STOP insulting the judges and yourself. No one believes any conflict between you & Simon anymore. We know that you are friends. No one believes the conflict between Paula & Simon anymore, as they keep kissing and making up. But the worst was when you made a reference to Randy eating up ... something. Randy even said, "THAT was low". I know that some writers make up these "jokes" for you, but how low must they go before even YOU become uncomfortable saying them?
