Heard from Trista that Amanda was not a happy camper after she watched the finale and realized that she was not the only notch in the hand-carved bedpost. Here's what Trista told me: "I think I heard that they (Alex and Amanda) were watching the final ep together, and she was a little perturbed. She decided not to move out to California. But it's like, that's what she signed up for. How could she be mad? It's hard to say when you're not in that position."

I got this in my ET email today:"The Bachelor" is single once again. AMANDA MARSH, who was picked by ALEX
MICHEL on the ABC reality show, tells TV Guide that the relationship is at an end.
"I'm sure that the ring is going back, " she says. Michel had asked Marsh to
relocate to Los Angeles to pursue the romance. However, the prospective bride says
she did not think she was a priority in his life. It was only April when Marsh was
chosen by Michel from a field of 25 hopeful women to possibly become Mrs.
"Bachelor."

In my local paper's entertainment news it was clear she was not a priority in Alex's life since he's rarely been there to greet her at the airport.This with other instances of his failure to woo her makes me sure Trista is surely having the last laugh.If this relationship is indeed at an end, could we see Alex appear on the Bachelorette begging for a second chance???I'm sure the show will think it's great television but will it happen???

Yes I read that about him not meeting her at airports. She also claimed he would tell her to take cabs to meet him at celebrity events they were to show up at together. He was in it for the publicity not the girl. Trista did get the last laugh.

Remember on Looking for Love: Bachelorettes in Alaska Tim1 was allowed to meet Cecile at Promise Lake and ask for a second chance when her final man wasn't going to show.So what do you think--will they give Alex that chance if indeed Amanda & he are on the way out?

At the very least I bet ABC will have him on the show wishing Trista good luck & saying no hard feelings as it's her turn now. But down deep,I want Alex to be there asking for a second chance
with her. A second chance that ultimately turns into Alex with
his tail between his legs and no woman, like the dog he is.

I had only watched the last episode when it originally aired--and my thinking was I wouldn't feel lucky if I was in Amanda's shoes. Today, the reruns of the show were on and one of the ladies (from the 15 before he dropped down to 8) said "Girls talk. Apparently he's made all of the women feel special and that they were going to the next round. Well, I don't feel very special." Exactly! Just like in real life--you see a man flirting, kissing and groping all the women....is that the man you want to marry???

I just watched the marathon last night. I thought Alex made the right decision -- Trista was too "iffy" about her feelings until the last minute, making Alex wonder if she just wanted to "win". But I really liked Trista. Amanda pulled a Shannon getting upset about the other women. You sign up for this thing with 25 women, one man and then obsess or get jealous of his being with other women? Like you didn't think that would happen? Then she's thrilled that out of all the women Alex fondled, he picked HER! Until she sees it on tape. Jeesh! Now, if Alex has been dissing Amanda, then she's making the right move by staying put. I was just glad he didn't pick Shannon. She REALLY started getting on my nerves talking about the other women all the time -- like she constantly needed reassurance. And then hyperventilating or whatever at the chalet? What century is this? If you don't want to sleep with him, hon, say NO. But "You have envelopes for other women." and "I can't breathe" was a little too much drama for an adult woman who agreed to be on this kind of show. (Note to Shannon: He's probably not a virgin anyway, are you?) High maintenance? I think so. I liked Alex. I think he was in the inaugural difficult position and tried to be considerate of people and their feelings while trying to find the right woman for himself. Hope he's not a jacka#* in the real world. If his breakup with Amanda goes through and is publicized, I wonder if any of the other women will contact him. Even Trista might call him and bow out of Bachelorette I. Could be interesting.
