PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"The Key of Doom" |
I haven't watched any of this edition of "The Bachelor", but I intend to start this week. My favorite episode, which I affectionately call "The Key of Doom", is coming up. You all know the drill - three women go on all-nighters with our bachelor, get separate rooms at some resort/hotel; but the producers offer them a "fantasy suite" or some such if they're willing to give up their rooms. It's a crude, high-pressure tactic that promises more than it delivers, and is especially unfair to the women, but I enjoy it anyway. Theoretically it answers the question of who's most willing to look like a (censored!) on national TV.Actually, I thought the Key of Doom worked best (like several other things) on "The Bachelorette". When Charlie and Russell got their offers, they wussed out and deferred to Trista. My hero Ryan didn't hesitate and said, "Let's go!" That was the beginning of the end for Charlie, I think. Key of Doom, followed by the stretched out season finale (I'm not counting the "women tell all episode" - yawn). Don't miss 'em.

I am thinking this is the 'key of opportunity' for some...
