If I were AC, I would personally be ashamed of the Celebrity Mole seasons too after I brilliantly hosted 2 of the greatest runs of any reality series. When The Mole first aired in 2001, reality TV was just picking up steam and The Mole was one of the first 5 reality shows released on non-cable TV. After the initial curiosity and hype of the first season, viewers were weeded out leaving the true Mole fans along with a few stragglers for the second season. By Celebrity time, only the most loyal were left and sadly, with a piss-poor hosting job by Amahad Rashad and the casting of B celebrities, the show went to the gutter.AC was the force behind the show with his mysterious and even haunting presence hosting the masterpiece of television. The cerebral mind games we as contestants played while watching at home went out the window and the only thing that kept up watching was the concept of the game itself hoping that one day it will go back to the original format which creates the same intellectual thought. AC jumped ship when he saw it was going south. I love The Mole and I seriously doubt if we’ll ever see such an analytical, mind stimulating, and thought provoking show, but I’m afraid its days are over...
