Here is the link just in case: http://my.aol.com/news/news_story.psp?type=4&cat=0809&id=021013191408191836 Rashad to host ABC's "Mole" Reuters Oct 13 2002 7:14PM HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Former NBC hoops commentator Ahmad Rashad has signed on as host of ABC's upcoming celeb edition of "The Mole." Rashad replaces veteran "Mole" front man Anderson Cooper, who's leaving the reality series in order to focus on his gig as an anchor-reporter for CNN. ABC is also developing another civilian-focused "Mole" for next summer, but Rashad has not yet been locked in to host that series. In addition to his NBA work for NBC, Rashad had a brief stint as host of the syndicated show "Real TV." Disney is also in the early stages of development for a daytime talker to be hosted by Rashad. Celebs already confirmed for the celeb "Mole" include Kathy Griffin and Stephen Baldwin. It is expected to tape in Hawaii as early as next month for broadcast later this season. I think he might do an OK job. "Could have been a lot worse" One of the reasons that Anderson succeeded as the Mole host was that he was willing to have fun with it. He didn't take things too seriously. If Ahmad takes a similar approach to it - and I believe he is capable of doing so - it could still be good.
