mcewens 3 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 01-30-03, 10:16 AM (EST) "The show in general" Although I think the mole is a great show, I can't help but feel that the shows are a bit of a rip-off. You only know what you are being shown, therefore it is up to the show to decide what or what not to reveal to you. This creates a misstrust between the viewer and the show, never knowing what to believe, which is what causes the confusion and makes it worth watching. There is no way to differentiate between what really is a clue and what is there to just throw you off, so a million theories are made and there is no real way of guessing who the mole is. Anybody who gets it right is just lucky and focusing on the particular clues that point to a certain person. I feel like the show sets you up to think it is somebody then when they get eliminated it only heightens the suspense. Everything is too transparent. I can see through it all, but not as much as the other reality based shows, which is what makes the mole better than the rest. The problem is that the viewer is at the mercy of what the show wants to reveal. Anyway, my 2 cents.   Top
