As horrible as they are they have won two challenges. In Survivor: Fiji the most pathetic tribe of all-time went winless. 0-8 or 0-9 or something close to it. Statistically you can't get more worse than that.

Wasn't Ulong the worst tribe ever. (I think that was their name from Survivor Palau). They didn't even make the merge. Stephanie just had to join Koror. I don't think they ever won anything.

Ulong won three challenges (all RCs). As poor as they were, in their defense they were going up against arguably the strongest tribe ever in Koror and the most perfect player ever to play the game - Tom Westman.

From a challenge standpoint, Ravu from Fiji went 1-12, including pre-switch and post-switch, and the one win was a Pyrrhic victory - the reward made the players ill, and they lost the upcoming challenge badly.Ulong from Palau was 3-11, including no immunity wins - and most of the immunity losses were blowouts. Ravu at least kept it close a lot of the time. Aside from that, Ravu was handicapped by the rich-poor divide - in football, a ragtag team with a lousy practice field, poor equipment, and no leadership is probably going to get killed routinely against a well-funded, well-protected squad with great leadership, and that's pretty much what happened in Fiji. If there had been a tribe switch in Palau or one of many assorted twists, I don't know how it would have turned out, but we do know what happened to Fang - they can't work together, and the new Fang is as bad as, if not worse than, the old Fang. However, look at it this way - old Fang may not be as terrible as once suspected. Ulong was down 8-1 to Koror at the time of the so-called merge. Old Ravu was down 6-4 to Old Moto - and an old Ravu won. Old Fang is tied 5-5 at this point. So as far as hanging in there, while new Kota is doing the best they possibly can at this point, old Fang is hanging in there. Besides, new Kota may ended up Rotu-ing themselves out of this game. The Kota 4, a.k.a. Marcus, Charlie, Randy, and Corinne, have already made something of a nuisance of Bob, and he's not dumb - he and Susie could go back to New Fang and dominate. It remains to be seen, but given that Dan obviously didn't have the idol, Bob and Susie may gravitate toward the person who does. Matty may be the wild card in this scenario, but if he's gone, Bob and Susie, who seem to be on the outs, could make a move to ditch the Kota 4. Judging from the previews, Randy's already going for the Nurse John edit, and the crash-landing for him may be a fitting finish for the biggest jerk Survivor's seen since probably Heidik and/or Clay.
