JIM GOES IN SEARCH OF A MURDERER WHILE MARY MAKES SOME SUSPICIOUS MOVES OF HER OWN, ON ABC'S "PUSH, NEVADA" SERIES TIME PERIOD PREMIERE "The Black Box" - A murder in Push sends Jim looking for clues to the killer's identity, but he's stonewalled by the town sheriff (Eric Allan Kramer) and his dimwitted deputy (Liz Vassey), who insist the death was a suicide, and a reclusive tattoo artist who may know whodunit. Meanwhile, a team of well-dressed men claiming to be from the Nevada Gaming Commission arrive to deal with the consequences of the death, and Mary moves to retrieve the stolen loot, in the time period premiere of "Push, Nevada," THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network."Push, Nevada" stars Derek Cecil as Jim Prufrock and Scarlett Chorvat as Mary. Recurring stars are Liz Vassey as Dawn, Eric Allan Kramer as Sheriff Gaines, Melora Walters as Grace and Raymond J. Barry as Sloman. Guest starring are Conchata Ferrell as Martha, Josh Todd as Job, Monty Bane as Caleb, Tom Towles as BRB, Jacob Smith as Young Jim, Joel Bissonnette as The Artist, Tom Gallop as well-dressed man no. 1, Steven Culp as well-dressed man no. 2, James Patrick Stuart as well-dressed man no. 3, Jim Ortlieb as the middle management man, W. Earl Brown as Shadrach, John Ciccolini as the waiter, Paul Ganus as operator no. 1, Kevin Crowley as Al Prufrock, Cliff Emmich as Cowboy Poet no. 1 and Gary Robertson as Cowboy Poet no. 2. Ben Affleck and Sean Bailey wrote the script for "The Black Box," which was directed by Charles McDougall. "Push, Nevada" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-14,S,V parental guideline.
