Still... Mel and Mike are quite a way behind and they're about to do the barrels - that seems like a tougher task for someone like Mel in my opinion. They're not acting like they're in a hurry either, so I don't know if they can get there within the next 60 minutes.

Yep, heatstroke is nothing to sneeze at - more than a few people have died from it. It might have a major impact on Margie in the next leg as there will likely be only a short time to recover before they have to take off again for the next leg (12 hours?). Not nearly enough time to get a steady stream of fluids and complete rest in.

So Mel & Mike are gone. Sigh. It was a pity, but they went to the wrong place and just couldn't make up the time.As for the others -- Cara's all right but Jamie gets impatient and that can really make her an Ugly American. I wish they'd gotten first place, however, since they hadn't gotten first yet. Tammy & Victor did quite fine this leg, although they shouldn't have left the rickshaw early. Poor Margie! I suspect they'll have a delayed Pit Stop because of her misfortune. Not much to say about LaKisha & Jen, so I'll go to Mark & Michael. So they were the ones who got the penalties! I should've known it would be them -- they're so dumb.

The editing was good this week, at the end I seriously thought Mel and Mike had a chance and Kisha/Jen would be out... well, I'm happy for the girls but will miss Mel and Mike.Mark/Michael never fail to disappoint... and it looks like they keep up the awful racing next week! They're such tools, they should have been grateful they weren't eliminated for their shenanigans but instead they were just pissy about getting penalized. Hate them. Apparently Jaime is aware of how awful she is to the locals and... doesn't care! Blah. She sucks. Tammy/Victor are okay, but I definitely don't want them to win... compared to them, all of the others are underdogs at this point. I guess that leaves me rooting for Kisha, Jen, Cara, and Margie!

stoopid basketball. Luckily I went to watch my DVR recording of TAR at 8:10pm. Since it started 17 min late, I missed from the point Mike/Mark got penalized until the last 2 teams were racing to the mat. Totally missed all the drama with Margie fainting, the brothers waiting, etc. *grumble grumble*
