I thought this deserved a thread of its own as it's well buried down on the Amazing Race 11 thread, so this could be monitored to see if this would be correct. Over on Television Without Pity (page 383 is where someone replied with quote, the actual post is blacked out a few pages earlier), it seems someone had come up with a boot list for this season. So far, the list is 2-for-2. This list might make a lot of people quite unhappy - or happy at the same time, depending on who you cheer for - with many people's most hated folks going out 4th and at the same time, two of the other most hated teams finishing in the top three. The editors really have their work cut out for them if this is truly the final three to make them look like potential winners... Without further ado (and to make sure it's far enough down to avoid accidental reveals if people are skimming through but don't want it spoiled): Edited to add some points -- This list was posted on TVWithoutPity on January 27th, before the season began, and it's said that the final three is not confirmed in that order but otherwise the list is as is. I know the basher thread will be dancing in the street starting late next Sunday once we clear spoiler time if it's true...
Of course we don't exactly know when those eliminations occur, because there will be some non-elimination legs that will cause some havoc, especially if "marked for elimination" returns....
ETA: The irony of it all, if this list is true, is the only team that didn't race together in their season, the "Mixed Tag"/"Mix 'n' Match" team if you will, end up being the winners, especially against two all female teams....

If you saw my addition to the original post, the list was revealed on January 27th. This season on TV did not start until February 18th.
I don't think anyone could have predicted well in advance that JV&J and K&D would have been the first two out in that order without having seen the first episode yet. In the first week's voting thread, only five out of 21 voted for JV&J and one had K&D.

That is horrendous ... I really wanted to see Rob & Amber win, and I certainly expected them to make final 3!!!

I wouldn't even have looked at this spoiler except for what they said about next weeks episode. I knew it couldn't be good with that comment they made about "having everyone talking."

Given how Phil teased the next episode tonight, I would find the next elimination to be a shock and that fits this list perfectly. I'm not pulling for Romber's demise like a lot of folks are but I'm not pulling for them to win either. I really don't care but it seems their entertainment value is going to be missed if this is true. I hope the rest of the list isn't right.

Thanks for doing this! I knew it was reply to an earlier thread on TWOP and I think the original actually came from survivor sucks. I just didn't want to do all the research to find the original!
Not survivor sucks, I meant reality fan forum - sorry!! I wasn't trying to give credit to someone else when I posted this on the other thread as coming from TWOP. That is just the place I found it easiest. THese types of posts always end up finding their way onto multiple boards so it can be very difficult to give credit to the original spoiler.

if it helps, these are the odds at bodog for the eight remaning teams. kinda telling, me thinks.

basically, J/B and C/M have the lowest chances of winning, with E/D not even making even money. that's ridiculous.
don't know if i can stand schmirna in every episode, and i just don't really believe that romber is out next week, even with the SUPER DUPER STUNNING AND SURPRISING ending we get.
it's believable that Eric/Danielle win, but come on 1/3 odds? it's donkey.

I'm going to have a real tough time watching Charla and Mirna every show, if they really make it that far. They are the only ones that I really can't stand.
I'd like to see Rob and Amber continue. They are rather full of themselves, but they are also good racers and make it interesting to see how the other teams hate them.

very much agreed! of all the people I think truly could win (Schmirna is not in that group IMO), the listed winners are the worst possibility.
but oh what drama if Schmirna did win since D&K are always talked about as the first female team to do it.

I would not be surprised in the least if this list is accurate. Rob and Amber have blown away the competition thus far and most likely, every team is out to get them. All it will take is one Roadblock (or whatever they call them) where Romber has to wait an hour for the hour glass to go and/or one lie from that creepy little Schmirna, and Romber will be toast.
Oh well, they sure showed the rest of the teams how to run the race while they were in, didn't they?
I, for one, will lose interest quickly after they leave. I guess I'll have to go watch them now at Club Loser Lodge!

Boy, I sure hope this isn't true, but with the "can't be missed ending" promo, it sounds like the phenomenal Romber is going to be Philiminated. I'm sure it's going to be due to some dirty dealing, because they are so great at TAR & 3 First Place finishes will have everyone gunning for them even more than they normally are.
Well, the only good thing is that I won't miss anything with Romber out of the race when I am in Europe for 3 weeks next month. That's one less show I'll have to set my DVR for to record while I'm gone. It will be another disappointing season if Eric & Danielle really win and Mirna & Schmirna make the F3???? Please help the TAR fans who actually continue watching this season.

OK, I shouldn't have looked. But now my question is how?
Rob and Amber have dominated so far, right? I noticed last time when they showed the departure times, Romber left an hour before the next team and then a bunch were bunched. So they not only won, but they won by a lot. The same looked to be true this time. Something would have to happen that is completely out of character and improbable to knock them out next week.
OK, but this is TAR and anything can happen, so maybe some quirk or misfortune takes out Romber. How does Schmirla make it to the final three? They are struggling and are my bet for out next. I could see that they make it another week or two, but I do not see how they could last much longer than that. They do not function well together, they waste a lot of energy fighting with the other teams over really stupid stuff, and Charla slows them down. They don't seem all that bright, either.
I sure hope this list is wrong.

I can't decide what makes less sense. Rob and Amber losing this week or Charla Mirna finishing in 3rd place overall.
Charla and Mirna are weak at challenges, have trouble reading a map, have trouble driving, panic under pressure and can't get along with anyone. They are just lousy at TAR. I can;t conceive of them making it all the way to the end.
Romber is the antithesis of Charla and Mirna. They are great under pressure and are constantly outthinking their oponents

nah it's most likely romber did something did something like, took a taxi instead of running, which gave them a 30 minute penalty. they probably would've gotten first either way, but put them at a 30 minute penalty.
the SUPER CRAZY ending is that romber's standing there watching the other seven teams check in, while the clock is ticking. likely charla/mirna check in about 2 minutes before the penalty is over.

As happy as I will be for Rob and Amber to be eliminated, I have to agree with most that they would have to have extremely bad luck or a big mistake to knock them out. So I have a far fetched theory. Maybe Amber's pregnant and they drop out. If I read next week's title right it is "No babies on Amazing Race"

You know what? This season's crazy and anything's certainly possible with this race... that's not so far-fetched to me.
Although I'm not sure Lamber would be so willing to part with what little cash they have in order to buy a home pregnancy test in the middle of nowhere in Chile to find out if she's preggo or not.

I think it goes even further than this! Amber is not just finding out that she's pregnant, but she actually delivers the baby on the show! But wait, you say she didn't look pregnant?! That's because the baby is "a little person"! That's right - she gives birth to a genetic dwarf right in the middle of a detour. The fact that baby Romberette is a dwarf gives Charla and Myrna such a great confidence boost (coupled with the pequeno person greeter this week), that they soar into the lead, leaving behind all their terrible racing traits, and cruise the rest of the way to the top three.
I'm putting money on this!

there could be one of those ridiculous bunching points and then either one of those only one team at time can complete the task (I hate those) or a yield (I also hate those) with one of the extremely annoying & obnoxious teams reaching it first and choosing to yield Rob & Amber
another thought is that the new twist of the intersection comes into play and Rob & Amber end up with a team who somehow causes them to make some uncharacteristic mistake which leads to their elimination

I had high hopes for TAR All-Stars, but first some teams I liked were not included and some teams I hated were. Then the first two teams eliminated were ones I was cheering for. Now my favorites are going out way too early with the three teams I dislike the most remaining. At least Danny & Oswald make it to 4th, but I really would have liked to see them make final 3.

Nope, you will not be the only one. This is TAR not the Rob & Amber show.
As for Rob losing, I can see it easily happening. The Romber fans like to fool themselves (planes can't roll-backwards back to the gate, the gate however can be re-extended after pulling away from the plane if the plane has not moved yet.)
Rob lost because he had a bad taxi-driver, if R&B were so much better than U&J then they would have still beat U&J starting from the Florida airport at the same time.
This last leg, again we see R&A taking a major lost in position just because their plane got delay, delays are under the control of no-man.
It is not hard to imagine a bad taxi or plane flight delaying R&A by so much that they can not catch up.

But I Can't buy this as an accurate list.
Ok, Romber could go home this week. They been shown very cocky, and taking chances. One risky flight that doesn't connect? And they are done. So they could go home this week.
But I Can't believe Charla and Mirna make the top 3.
No way. They clearly seem to be one of the physically weaker teams. They seem to make too many mistakes along the way. Unless Eric and Danielle are going to carry them? No way am I buying Charla and Mirna making to 3. It defies all logic in my opinion.

I love the pregnancy theory, but I think they are too ruthless/determined to let a little thing like that stop them, especially since Ambuh is young and in good shape, and early pregnancy might not be a problem. Well, the reason I looked in the first place was to see if a team I absolutely couldn't stand was gonna win and make the season completely unbearable. After that, I still glanced at it through the weeks and it was neat to see who was gonna go when. It's kind of like when you're watching a movie: In most cases, you know the good guy is not gonna get killed, but you still want to see how it plays out. It was still fun to watch for me after reading the spoilers.

Yeah, I would've preferred not seeing the whole list too. I used to enjoy Survivor spoiling, for example. But then, all those 100% accurate boot lists started to ruin the show for me. So I stopped looking.
I've still been watching for TAR spoilers lately, because usually we're not handed complete bootlists. I think these kinds of lists really ruin the fun.
