Kalia admitted that she VTE Keith, but Shelly hasn't and is letting them believe that Adam did it instead.Speaking of Adam, he's the one that is the current thought to receiving the Golden Key because Dominic's the target. Cassi's being a Mean Girl about Porsche everywhere but to her face... but she doesn't hate her... *headscratch* Brendon/Rachel are still fighting... Brendon about how he doesn't want her to get her teeth fixed, get Botox injections, etc.... but she counters that he loves her big ol' boobs, and they're fake... and on and on and on... but he's also insisting that these arguments are 'purely game' (What?) Oh, and technically, that was Jordan's 3rd HoH win: She won the Windmill Miniature Golf POV HoH that occured right after the Ultimate Chima Bomb, and she also won her season's Final HoH...

(I should really find a better opening word. The hamsters are generally still up at this hour.)The primary target is currently Dominic. Adam has been informed of Jordan's intentions to nominate he and his partner, with Jordan swearing on her life that Adam was safe. (The plan is to run over this again later with the target, subbing in the right name while leaving out the swearing.) This is subject to change after Jordan gets some sleep or sees a butterfly, whichever comes first. Adam has not tried to claim credit for being one of the two newbie voters to oust Keith. Kalia's admitted to her own ballot (which could have consequences): Shelly is happily lying in the weeds. Dominic is not a happy camper. He seems to feel Adam was the other vote and can't be convinced otherwise. He plans to restart every LA school in July just to get extra buses on the road. He wants to partner with Rachel & Brendon for the food competition and then throw it just so he can get them and his 'former' partner on slop, not to mention stuck sleeping in the same room with his snoring. He also seems to believe that Racers go in teams of three because he wants to take Lawon and Cassi with him. So he's got plans. Some of them may even relate to reality. Distantly. Cassi and Porsche have developed a Monet/Rachel relationship. (You can fill in your own details.) The only real difference is that Cassi's working as a unit of one. Cassi's not happy with Rachel either -- Porsche's still in the house, Rachel is a partial cause of that, and guess who told her to deal with the result? The lack of HoHterview has been noticed. Jordan is hoping it either continues into Thursday or they get her another interview subject to copy off of. We had another round of the future plastic surgery debate between Rachel & Brendon: she insists she wants/needs more, he tells her she's fine as-is, she points out that 'as-is' includes everything she's already had done and he's been fine with those results, he gets angry, she points out other instance of his double standards, and he claims it's gameplay, which makes no sense. Jordan has been trying to keep a little bit of peace between the sides, not wanting total open warfare in the cage. Good luck with that.

As it turned out, throwing the competition wasn't her worst possible move -- but it only worked out that way because Keith had already made enough Worst Possible Moves to populate half a season. Porsche lucked out: the boomerangs did keep their word, there were enough newbies aligned with Keith to swing the tide, and she does have the Golden Excuse Key. All is well for Porsche -- but it doesn't change the fact that the best defense against being voted out is to not be on the block. She went misere' once and had it work. It won't work again.Tracking where your support comes from is common hamster sense. Baring a shakeup which the editing would have been thrilled to convey, Porsche doesn't have a lot of math to do. She's aware of who Keith liked to hang out with. She knows she got the boomerang votes, Kalia already admitted to supporting her suit, Cassi hates her... Pinning down the most likely suspect for Vote #6 shouldn't be too difficult. It does bring up the question of whether Shelly and Kalia were aware of each other's votes. All the boomerangs needed was one swing in their favor, followed by Rachel breaking the tie. If you've already got one 'hinky' ballot, then two just throws things into extra confusion while increasing the paranoia. Of course, that may have been the goal.

With Brendan, Jeff and Dom on the show, the show just did not need another built guy as much as they needed someone who would go out in a bikini every time BB needs her to do so. Plus, Keith was making so many idiotic moves. So they pick Porsche, that may be coachable over a three week period, to be the one that stays.Same way it doesn't surprise me that Dom wins the POV and magically stays over Cassi Cassi may be a beautiful girl on the outside, but she is a very unhappy girl on the inside. Has she told the house yet that she is a current model and not a retired one? I think the real drama that is building in the house is when the vets start to turn on one another and the newbs buy a clue and see the weakness in the vet group and finally pull together to run the show.

He'll spend a day making what's left of the media rounds -- but after that, he either reappears at what used to be his job or he stays among the missing. And as disturbing a thought as Keith unleashed on a now-suspecting population is, having him on hold waiting for Revive-A-Hamster isn't much of an improvement. Dick's departure shouldn't impact the episode count: at worst, it would take away the week-in-an-hour if the schedule was exceptionally tight to begin with. But if the producers want to get cute, they'll sequester the early ousters. Watch the sewers.

At one point, Rachel was down with her finger in her throat, trying to throw up. And made it, adding a personal touch to the backyard greenery. Brendon's scrapped his knees pretty badly (the implied ant costume did not come with joint padding), Lawon got stuck somewhere along the way, Adam visibly bruised... carnage all over the board. Jeff felt (jokingly or not) that they spent part of the challenge waiting on a medivac. ETA: From what Dominic said, medical attention arrived about fifteen minutes after the competition ended. That's not a first for the cage, but it's hardly a common event. So who's setting the DVR for Sunday?

Pretty Much Every Female In The Cage Vs. Cassi. Which also works in the other direction: they've been bashing her every chance they get and she's been returning the insults in equal measure -- but it never happens when the subjects can hear each other. (What has she done? Does it matter? Does anyone ever have to do something in this game?) At this point, you can probably lock her in for secondary if Dominic wins and uses the Veto, especially since we've reached the point where Dani is encouraging Rachel to throw the thing just to give the primaries a better chance. (Most of the males are truly clueless here -- Brendon thinks the female divide is to their credit, and there are ongoing attempts to talk Adam into pulling his own Keith.)Jeff thinks he has the Cassi problem pinned down, at least from the alliance's side: it's anti-Angie syndrome, especially from a suddenly extra-insecure Rachel. He wants the attacks to back off a little and he wants to cultivate a little friendship with Cassi, mostly to tilt any nominations in the event of a Cassi HoH to Rachel & Rachel with a side option of Brendon. This may not be the wrong conclusion. It might even be the right action. But it won't do a thing to stop the verbal attacks from Cassi's side... In the further bashing of all those who watch the show, Dominic would like to know who's been wasting their time voting on what he should eat. So remember, should the subject of Dominic's diet come up again, we should all now vote for him to eat nothing whatsoever. It's the only way to stop the snoring. Jordan is afraid to sleep in the HoH room by herself. It's dark. And scary. And haunted by The Ghost Of Payback Future. Also, she keeps calling Brendon 'Brandon' and to fix this, she would like his mother to change his name. (Jordan called her own mother after she and Jeff had sex for the first time. Retroactive permission?) By the same logic, Cassi's mother must now file paperwork for the switch to 'Whashername.' Add Kalia to the food comp injury list: shoulder. Porsche has not tracked all her votes: in particular, she's unaware of Shelly. And Danielle is bored. Bored, bored, bored. She didn't realize how involving being in constant fear of her game-life was until she suddenly didn't have it. No competitions. No costumes. No injuries. Bored, bored, bored. All Dani wants is for the GK time to end so she can do something. Of course, if Grodner wants to be her usual lying self, all Dani has to do is wait for the next elimination plus five minutes, at which point Julie will tell her that she and the remaining member of the latest break are now partners. That should unbore her in a hurry.

You may think this is painful. You may believe this is agonizing. And you're probably right. Just try to focus on two thoughts as the fire roars down your spine.1. She's actually improved since last year. No, seriously. At least now she realizes the CapsLock key has an Off position. Still can't figure out 'its' vs. 'it's' to save her life, but lowercase letters now have a place in her world. (Possessives and contractions seem to give her fits.) 2. Next week? Jordan. I have not edited this beyond making sure some words and symbols show up at all. I wanted to post it here because it gives us some idea of how she's seeing things, sheds some extra light on the Cassi conflict, and gives us a baseline to predict some of her future moves. We are heading deep into the mind of Rachel. Bring canaries. "HEEEEEY IM BACK BITCHES! haha :) Well I am back and the FIRST HOH of Big Brother 13! YAY! And its been a CRAZY Week to say the least! And the twists this year are insane, its a totally different big brother game. Your playing as duos, and also when one member of the duo gets evicted the other member gets a golden key that keeps them in the house until the final 10. The golden key holder is pretty much the ULTIMATE FLOATER, the ULTIMATE Key to hold to hang out in the BB house for half the summer no worries, LUCKY! So golden key holders GRAB YOUR FLOATEES(or life vests) This BB season is going to be very different then I had expected, but like Julie says EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! Its great to be in the Big Brother house again, I feel honored to have been invited back!(a little shocked, but very excited) I am ready for this season to be fresh and new and for myself as a player of BB to really develop. Last year I really struggled with my social game and I was very proud, abrasive, and in peoples faces -- I was always fighting to stay in the house in the game and with MY MAN. This year is totally new! I have the opportunity to have a great season, to go very far and to really fight to win, rather then just fight to stay in the house. This season Brendon and I are happily engaged and living and playing together this year as a team! I cant explain how different it feels to be in this with him fighting and playing as a team, its the biggest advantage in the world to not only be playing with a partner, strong alliance but with your lifetime alliance & best friend. There are def. challenges also; like the fact that Brendon and I are both strong willed people and that we are both stubborn, but LOVE, TRUE LOVE is really what keeps our hearts strong and beating for each other and able to really play and focus on this game. We came into this season and assumed that it would just be the two of us and we would be a huge target and that it would be us against the house again, but luckily we were wrong! When Jeff & Jordan and Dick & Dannielle walked into the house I was soooooo excited. Super scared but really excited if the 6of us could ban together and form an alliance then we could RUN this house we could take over the season and then battle with the best in the end. We started the season like that the "veterans vs. the newbies" and we decided day 1 that we were going to take over the game, the house and the season! We had plans for every week, and 6strong players on our team to accomplish our goals. I was feeling like this would really be my season and that I really had a chance to make it far in this game. When we got the news that Dick was leaving, I was crushed, I was so excited to play with someone that I was intimidated by, scared of and very much respected their style(maybe not everything b.c he scares me too!) I took the news very hard, I didn't want a relapse of season 12 I didn't want to get picked off by the newbies one duo by one duo. I came into BB13 to play a hard fun game and battle to the end, but I wasn't expecting our strategy to blow up in our face! And we weren't just loosing Dick we lost Danielle also to the golden key(NO BUENO) so on day 6 we lost two of our best competitors, one until week 4 and possibly the strongest member of our alliance for good! I was so upset I wanted to go home, I felt hopeless and lost and really just scared. Thank goodness I came to my senses, IM NOT A QUITER I NEVER HAVE BEEN AND I DIDNT GIVE UP LAST SUMMER WHY SHOULD I NOW! :) We may be out numbered and down in competitions, but were strong and were fierce competitors. We have a lot of advantages and pieces in our favor, we have really strong competitors, we have strong social gamers, and we have a tight alliance that we know we WONT turn our back on, and people who wont turn on us. Thats HUGE IN THIS GAME! So now not only do I have my future life partner/best friend in my alliance, but I have 3 other REALLY strong players who are also my friends. In big brother if you have one person you can ultimately trust your golden, in this season we have a group of 5 people that will never turn on each other until the final 5, so were already playing with that in our favor, and were playing with no paranoia, no fear; and hell we have nothing to loose. The newbies are definitely targeting us in the next HOH and in this voting, I am really frightened that they may switch their votes or that even the newbies were trying to pull to our side of the house are lying to us. Rather then try to work with us and be part of our alliance the newbies have decided to play against us. (WRONG MOVE) But were still in a very dangerous situation right now, we have only 4votes this week and going into the next HOH we have only 3players, were out numbered and in a tough spot. Throughout the week after winning HOH we tried to feel out the house to see who we can trust, who trusts us and who we can pull to our side. After nominations we had to REEVALUATE this b.c people always change, we lost Dick and the house was turned upside down. Thank goodness Brendon and I won the POV. Going into the POV this week Brendon and I knew we HAD TO WIN! Not only to keep the noms. the same but we had no other option then to win so we could use this power as a bargaining chip with the newbies and again to try to make some deals, (we need everything we can get right now to try to make this situation work out for our alliance) Winning this POV meant that we had the opportunity to shake up the house, possibly change the noms. and make deals to save us for the next week. Once the POV was won we had to work quickly to make people think we may use it so that they were scared of getting back doored, and would do anything we needed, and right now we need a miracle and we need mine and Brendan's duo safe but also jeff and Jordan's duo!(thank goodness for the golden key for danni right now--it is a blessing and a curse) Coming up on this next HOH and next week we have to win, our targets are Dominic, and Cassi--mainly because we view them as the biggest schemers in their alliance, they are the ones who are orchestrating everyone against us, and telling them to put us up. Yet I think Cassi is going to try to get the boys to do her bidding and push them to make all the power moves for her, so she has no blood on her hands, eww that type of game DISGUSTS ME she's trying to flirt her way with the boys and let them do all her dirty work until she may actually TRY to compete, but she's def. playing the "cool girl floater role" lets see if she tries to win competitions Good thing I can see right through it. Adam is someone who is probably trying to play both sides of the house, and is just happy to even be playing big brother that I don't think he's going to do any crazy power moves that would put him in jeopardy. Lawon is someone who also is trying to play both sides of the house, I view him as a floater and I think that the second he can he'll back stab anyone in our alliance, I also think he is a floater who doesn't want to make any power moves yet. I am so happy to have Danni and Jordan on my side for support and girl time and girl talk! Jeff & Brendon are becoming great friends, and we are all growing very close. I am so happy and excited that I can actually enjoy myself in this game and have fun and have fun with it and with people living in the house. I am also thankful that I have the STRONGEST competitors on my side, I was a huge fan of Danni and Jeff in their season and Jordan has great social game and is sweet  and the best part about this duo twist is that I get to play the game of Big Brother with my BEST FRIEND BRENDON and we can have fun and spend another CRAZY summer together in the house! I have learned ALOT out myself this past year, about how strong I am, about how much I can push myself, about how strong Brendon and I are together and about life in general. I am ready to play this game and to really do a good job at it, I have Brendon and Danni to remind me that were NOT the care bear alliance, that were NOT here to make friends and that I cant play this game with emotions but that I have to make good strategic game moves that will further our alliance, I have to know when to strike and when to hold back, and I need to be unaffected by emotions, so that I can further myself and make it to the end where I can really fight for the 500k prize, b.c if I don't get to the final 5 Im not going to get to the final2. Im doing this for our wedding and our future starting a family with the man of my dreams who I met in the big brother game!!!!!!!!!! :-D Thank you for the support of Brendon and mine fans, friends and families. We couldn't play this game with out y'all and we love and appreciate everything!!! Really thank you I love our families and I couldn't have done this again with out you--Your giving Brendon and I the chance to win Big Brother and to start a family of our own! They reinforce the bad grammar that has gripped America. "Between him and I" arrrgh! Incorrect use of bring and take...everything becomes bring...arrrggggh! Lack of understanding of when to use "myself". Lack of proper use of the conditional: if....were . So much is said as: if...was. ETfix typo, lol.

She needs to make use of white space when she types. This year she learns to use lower case; dare we hope that white space is in her future? Nah, that would imply that she thinks of the people who are reading her spewing.

Brendon wants to restore some kind of order before the alliance goes to pieces. And what did Rachel do? From the sound of it, she went on slop for two weeks when Jordan didn't, apparently to show her competitive side vs. Jordan's. Kind of makes you wonder what punishments Dominic assumed for the win. Piping in his own snoring won't do much. ETA: According to Shelly, Rachel said "Hey Brendon, if the HOH isn't going to take slop, maybe we should quit too." She and Jordan are patching this up right now -- Jordan claims she never even heard Rachel, but she may be saying that to keep the peace. Rachel's already had a good crying jag about losing her temper, and Jeff is at least faking regret for his own outburst. Anyone want to start a countdown on cross-faction alliances?

I give them 2 more evictions till cross-faction deals start flying hot and heavy. As soon as the last Golden Key is given out and everybody realizes that they don't have their partner for a backstop in comps anymore, the negotiations will start and shivs will start going into backs all over the house. Some of the HGs might start looking like porcupines from having so many shivs sticking out of their backs. If the next 2 evictions are both newbies, look for the conniving to get bigtime ugly.

BBAfterDark started tonight with a good "discussion" wherein Rachel and Jordan were ... No ... Rachel was whining about how much people hate her. Jordan informs her that she needs to check herself. Shut her mouth, "with all yer snide remarks and last minute jabs at other contestants" it's getting difficult dealing with her as an alliance mate. "Nothing Bad. I ain't putting you up. Jeff ain't puutin you up." But the basic overplaying mood is people don't like how you try to overcompete for everything.Personally, Rachel and Brendon are making it much harder for themselves by boasting everytime they win and pointing how close they were when they lose. Rachel continues to cry long into the broadcast, basing most of the whining and sobbing off of how she was treated last season.
Jordan: "You need to get rid of last season. This is a whole new season. Whole new people." "Just don't play like you did before. Don't be mean." The root of the most recent moment of clarity for Jordan was...
Cassie and Rachel "have it out" with each other.
Cassie pulls Rachel aside and asks "from the horse's mouth" why Rachel hates her so much.
Rachel says she's pretty and that they would probably be friends outside the house. But as far as gameplay goes. Cassie's is bad.
Cassie then goes on to say some things about Rachel that obviously sting as they are obviously truthful. The fallout from this goes both ways as Cassie commiserates with the newbs (+Jeff) out in the backyard, while Dani and Jordan continue to try talking Rachel down from a philosophical ledge. By the way. Brendon is a horrible boyfriend.

Cassi has been primed by others (Jordan, Jeff) that the reason is that some in the house (girls) are intimidated by Cassi (meaning her beauty). That was an easier scapegoat than saying they did not like the Dom/Cassi twosome. Cassi moans to others that she has dealt with the jealous girls all her life, blah, blah. She decides to get into it with Rach. Here's part of a recap: -----
"Cassi says she promised y'all they would not be put it until further in the game. Cassi says she has been totally honest about everything she has done in here and her word is good. Rachel says she's heard from plenty of people that you were going around that you want me or Jeff or Jordan gone. Cassi says you have to remember in this game everyone is going to go around and say all kinds of things... says she is one of the most honest person in the house. Rachel says you REALLY think you are one of the honest people in this house? ... "you guys" broke your chances here. Cassi says, I'm playing by myself, "who are YOU guys"... she trusted that a deal was a deal and that she trusted you. Rachel says she doesn't personally like her game...when you go around talking about Porsche. Cassi says she has not talked sh** about anyone. Rachel says what did you do as soon as Jordan came in power. You started talking to Jordan, that's bad game plan. Cassi says she just feels that Rachel has problems with females. Rachel says why would you say that, I'm friends with Jordan, Dani, Porsche, why would I try to get rid of other females I would talk about... you are attacking my character. Cassi says she's not attacking her, she just wanted to "throw that out there and see your reaction." Rachel says you say "You have to have the balls to put them up. Cassi replies everyone says that. Rachel says Cassi you have horrible game plan, I like you as a person, we had great conversations but most of the time you didn't talk to me.... I protect Brendon, J & J, and Dani and have to play smart. For you to attack me that I don't like females doesn't make any sense. Cassi says I didn't call you in here to fight. Rachel tells Cassi: you play "I'm the victim game all the time." Cassi says WTF, I have not...Cassi tells Rachel she is a catty girl, ugly person inside, that she had been a fan of hers and now she gets it. ----- After this, Rach is in tears in the HOH room talking with Dani and Jordan. They were consoling her and telling her Cassi is gone and to let it go. Just don't talk with her. Jordan also tells her to change her behavior if she wants to be different this season. And to not be telling the rest of the house that she and Brendan had sex in the HOH room. Jordan reminds her that it could be on tv. Rach is stunned for Jordan to be discussing this and later starts saying how B's her fiance and she is just having sex with her fiance. Meanwhile, Jeff has been downstairs talking with Cassi. He comes up to the HOH room to see who wants in the pool tourney. He and others tell Rach that the alliance is solid, Cassi's gone, etc. Jeff gets called to the DR... Bendan comes up, wants to shower...same convo, comforting Rach..Jeff returns...then Dani and Jordan leave... Then Kalia streaks in with the "can I use the bathroom" excuse for spying...and after she does, and obviously hears some of the convo, tells them that a big conversation is going on in the purple room which is Dani and Jordan talking in there after leaving the HOH. Then Jeff leaves and Bren is consoling Rach who is crying that he is mean to her, too. I didn't stay up long enough to find out if she told him the others were commenting on her and B having sex on tv. The paranoia was high about the vets falling apart. Rach also commented on Shelly to Dani and Jordan and Rach is the one who is onto Shelly somewhat but the others are not seeing it yet.

I've noticed that it's very easy for Brendon to say "you're the love of my life" ... This puts him in that small group of guys who've figured out you can do well with women if you speak the language of true love and "show your feelings." Then after Brendon says it, he proceeds to be a self-centered butthole who doesn't change his position. Then Rachel cries because the only path back to Brendon's good graces is to say she's sorry. Mind you, 10 times out of 10 she is behaving ridiculously, so that moderately cancels out Brendon's inability to compromise.

Basically saying she's ignorant and dysfunctional but that's okay he likes dumb girls.
How would that be to know that the love of your life thinks and admires you for your stupidity?
Kinda backwards and really just feeding into Rachel's already enormous amount of insecurities.
Sure, she sucks. But getting rid of that boy...er fiance is the only way she'll learn to be better.

LAST EDITED ON 07-18-11 AT 10:58 PM (EST)Someone decided to pull a prank on Adam. Brendan, maybe? Or Dom? They got all the cast members to go up to the HOH while Adam was sleeping. There was much excitement at first and lots of ideas on how to prank. They settled on putting a stretch of tape across Adam's picture and then putting all the keys on the Fortune Teller in the purple room as well as the POV. Then they closed the door so you have to use a code to get into the room. (Huh?) They had Kalia scream and messed around with the lights while they were in the HOH. BB told them the lights must remain on. Adam finally wakes up, slowly. Goes to the br. Walks through the house and sees the pink tape on his pic. Takes it down. Goes out and has a couple of cigs. Lays down. Actually falls asleep. Meanwhile, the other 11 are in the HOH room, on a self-sequester, and are getting antsy. Plans are hatched to go down to retape his picture and turn on a tea kettle. BB admonishes Adam for sleeping outside so he sits up and has another cig. The sequestered houseguests are one by one falling asleep in the HOH room. Eventually Adam gets up and goes in and makes slop. He says: "J---- C-----, people" so the feedsters know Adam is on to the hiders. Adam laboriously makes slop and jerky and sautes it in a pan and then adds hot sauce and relish. Goes outside to eat. He then talks to the camera and tells how he loves the peace and quiet and basically the joke is on them. He never even went around the house to confirm they were all hiding! This will all make a funny, short filler bit for Sunday's show. Or Wednesday's show. Anyway Shelly breaks rank for a cig and joins Adam in the by feigning no knowledge of what had gone on. Adam tells her he will vote to keep her no matter what. The rest of the hamsters escape the HOH room and admit Adam got over on them all. Adam. Winning!

 The highlight of the day: Cassie gets her hair washed (rumored to be the first time in almost a week.)
 Danielle plots with Dominic about the couples.
 I've wanted to give some updates but, geez...these people are boring! Hopefully, this will be just the calm before the storm starting Thursday night.
