"Big Brother #8 Episode #28 East Coast Spoiler Thread" |
Please keep all sigpic-free discussion of tonight's 'a week in an hour, live' double-elimination speed round on this thread until midnight EDT, by which time the West Coast will have seen just howb badly Julie's mistakes screwed everything up. We're supposed to expect someone who can't remember who she's supposed to be barely interviewing can get two HoH competitions, one Veto run, and two evictions right? In a row? WIth no real time for breaks, barely any time for the production staff to try and correct her, and a margin for error that approaches zero? Good luck. Zach may win HoH tonight. The first HoH. And then he may win the one after that. Win the Veto Blingie, and you may be automatically evicted. Sit down on the nomination seat, fall through a hole into Kid Nation, which should finally give Daniele a place where she and her maturity level feel right at home. In fact, the only thing almost guaranteed to not happen tonight is a look at Sequesterville, and even that could come up if one of Julie's viruses manages to reach the control panel. So remember: this is a week in an hour, live. All the horrible mistakes that normally take seven days to accomplish, complete in sixty minutes, or heads will roll. Zach's first, since we know it isn't completely attached.Stay tuned. If we're very lucky, Mark Cuban will try to send the entire network to instant replay.

LAST EDITED ON 09-07-07 AT 06:48 AM (EST)Julie can pronounce 'tumultous'! The speech synthesizer is hot tonight! Oh, great -- so much for Eric's one day of relative freedom. Julie just told everyone to get their cell phones out: we're going to be calling in with our instant-message votes. Wonder how they're going to get away with putting Eric in the DR during a live hour? Recap of house events that seem to be leading up to Jessica's eviction -- right now, they have to be very careful about how much time they use, and every second spent in looking back can't be used for the live events. Dick is DRing about making Jameka feel that she's going home all week, then pulling her aside ten minutes before showtime and offering her a deal -- one he's sure she'll take. Jameka, who's crying about all the people she's playing for, probably will take it. But it's not because she's selfish -- right, Amber? Jameka tells Jessica what Dick let her in on: she's going home. The chain of information then links to Eric. Jessica's dubious -- don't trust the results until it happens, although Eric's reassurance makes her feel a little better. Eric is absolutely DR confident that D&D are following through on this. Silly Eric. AP's vote is in -- America has voted for Jameka to go out. Eric is very relieved not to have been screwed over on that front. Eric goes up to Daniele and asks her directly if Jessica's going. Daniele lies. 'Chill out, you freak.' That's Daniele's idea of reassurance. Into the living room we go -- live! And Julie starts with the announcement of the week in the hour. Daniele, who's been denying this all week, can't be taking this well. Jameka gets to make her speech. Enjoyed her time here, hopes it isn't ending tonight, good decisions, bad decisions, her word is good, strategy first, conversations later, hopes she's still here. Jessica's turn. Thought Carol's presence would be the hardest week in the house, but it's being next to Jameka that's been hardest. If she stays, she stays, may the best person win. Votes: Eric: Jameka. Julie instructs him on his next task: whoever she asks to lead the pack back into the house after the competition is America's target for eviction. Dick: Jessica. Wants to get this show on the road, seems pumped about the live twist. Daniele: Jessica. (What a shock.) Whines about being really nervous, nothing's sunk in. Claims to have had an idea that this was possible. Liar. 2-1: Jessica's out. We are about to see Nuclear Eric try to detonate all over the cage. Wonder if he brought the fuses. Announcement. Jessica hugs Jameka, hugs and kisses Eric. Dicl lies about being really sorry. Eric whisper-vows that he's going to do it for Jessica now. Double-hug with Jameka & Eric. Out the door. Jessica's crying a little as she comes out to Julie. Eric is not surprised by the results, but tells the others he understands. He would have just appreciated being told, so he could have two days with her knowing they were the last days. He's offended by this. Daniele starts to claim that she did tell Eric -- and we cut out to the interview. Can we ignore the interview? Of course we can. Except that Jessica admits to loving Eric in some fashion, and they'll see if anything happens outside the house. Goodbye messages. Dick claims to be sorry. Zach claims to be sorry. Daniele hopes it's not taken personally -- and she's sorry. Jameka isn't sure why she's recording this because it's supposed to be her. Eric is going to be a maniac as long as he stays, fighting for Jessica's honor. And BTW? He loves her. Interview ends. HoH competition starts now. Everyone into the backyard. Reminder: this is Jameka's last sit-out competition. If she survives the next vote, she can play again. Text your votes to control Eric's target now. If Eric gets HoH, he must nominate the highest vote-getter. If that person is HoH, Eric must target the person in second place. Commercials.

LAST EDITED ON 09-06-07 AT 10:02 PM (EST) Not a good spot for Eric to be in right now.
On one hand if he gets HOH he might be told to nominate Jameka and Zach instead of ##### and Daniele. (Edited to ask: Does America control only one of his nominations or both?) Yet if he doesn't win he stands a good chance of being put up and voted out. Kind of sucks either way for him right now...

There's been a fair amount of waste time so far -- we've got to be looking at two very fast competitions. The second HoH can always run overtime, but the first one and Veto have to be wrapped up in twenty-five minutes or less. And we're back. More waste time -- wait, that's just Julie speaking. Automatic, I know... Isolation booths again, combined with the stairs. Game is 'before or after'. Step back from the center for before, forward for after. Eight questions. Jen cried over picture before or after Amber cried over nomination? Before. All right. Amber handcuffed b/a Joe had the pie? After. All right. Jameka say during veto that her actions should align with her words b/a Nick shaved his head? After. Only Daniele got it right. Julie asked Dustin about his shirt b/a Julie asked Jameka to rethink giving up HoH plays? After. Daniele got it wrong, others got it right. Tied. Jen's negative vibes speech b/a unitard? After. Eric & Daniele in lead. Lobster tails b/a streaking incident? Before. Eric & Dick get it right: Eric in lead. Jen win 2nd POV b/a the banner plane? After. D&D got it right. Eric & Dick are tied. During veto meeting, Daniele journey speech b/a no one wants to be in this chair? Before. Dick is the only one to get it right. Dick wins HoH. Daniele is America's choice for nomination. Good luck with that, Eric. Daniele is asked to lead the others back into the house. Nominations in a few minutes. Dick as HoH -- gee, wonder who's going up.

Can we solve the mystery of Dick's nominations before they occur? Let's see -- what did I predict over on the other thread? Is there any chance that my 'if Jessica is out' scenario will come through here? If so, we're looking at Eric & Jameka. Daniele has exactly one commercial breaks' worth of time to whine her father into doing something else.Kid Nation commercial. Y'know, I still really like that song... And we're back. Nominations are -- not instant. Last-minute strategy talk going on. Eric whispering to Jameka: can't make it out. Something about five minutes. Dick admits to guessing on the last question to Eric. Eric thought himself out of the race. Eric proposes Daniele & Zach while he still has time. Dick tries to take it about as seriously as you'd think. And here's the nominations -- Eric & Jameka. Gee. Apparently this is the only thing in reality television I can actually predict. Veto competition after the break.

LAST EDITED ON 09-06-07 AT 08:26 PM (EST)Eric is having one miserable hour. Let's see if it has any chance to improve. Right now, his only possible personal partial victory is to take Veto: hoping Zach wins, takes him off, and forces Daniele onto the block is way too much to ask for. Backyard switch should be just about over -- there, we're back. Julie wastes some more seconds on recapping the previous segments. Competition is called Niagra Falls. (Amber's involved?) Several thousand rubber balls are about to fall on the hamsters. Collect only green ones, place eight in your tube first, win veto. And here come the balls! There's balls everwhere! The houseguests are wearing helmets to protect them from the ball falls, but Daniele is still complaining about how much the impact hurts. Jameka's got three. No real updates on the others -- there, D&D have one each. Eric has two. I'm counting on Julie's updates. How much does this svck? Sound keeps cutting out... Zach ties with Jameka: three each. Balls continue to fall. Daniele keeps whining. Zach goes to four. Eric to three. Jameka to five. Still more endless Daniele whining. Someone gets disqualified -- sounded like Daniele or Jameka. Daniele, I think -- she put a blue ball in the tube -- no, it's Jameka: she's out. Getting this on audio right now. Zach gets to seven. Zach wins veto. Okay -- Zach can disrupt the nominations with absolute safety, and he can play for HoH in a few minutes with Dick supremely vulnerable. Will he take the chance? Stay tuned...

And we're back! Will Zach force Daniele onto the block? If so, he and a choice of Eric or Jameka will control the vote... this is the big chance to break up the Donatos...Dick talking to/about someone named Rich -- production person, probably. Veto speeches: Jameka, out of breath, repeats herself. Eric: No expectations you're going to use this, but vote smart, give me a fair chance to play, the jury hates me. Zach: Stall, stall -- not going to use it. So much for the one great chance to destroy the family pairing. Zach? Is an idiot. This was the golden chance to take Daniele out with a grand total of nothing Dick could do about it -- and he passed it up. Exactly what is Zach's goal in this game? How is he trying to advance his chances? Does he really think he can avoid being a target?

So we come back from Zach's Folly, and it's time for the vote. Shall we go for the threepeat and have Jameka make the same speech yet again? Eric tried. He tried to talk Zach into using the veto, but -- Eric's had very little time to work here, and he's not Will, is he? Julie wastes more time on recap. Presumably she's trying not to forget what just happened. Vote starts after the pleading. Julie mentions the jury house. We still have one? Jameka: not fun to be on the block this many times, but it's how the game works. Vote for not just advancing yourself, but -- she keeps her word! Eric: he's disappointed, surprised to be in this position, the power is in their hands, he's been good to the voters, he's kept his own word, he could have knocked any of the voters out and didn't, they breached that trust earlier but -- he was good to them, be good to him, give him a fair chance. Dick will break any ties. Like there's going to be any ties. Votes: Zach: votes to evict Eric. Daniele: votes to evict Eric. America just lost another war. Eric gets the news. Hugs for Jameka. Eric tells the others to keep in mind that they sent the Philly lawyer to the jury -- but he's not leaving with sour grapes, best regards and luck. Daniele sends a message to Jen. Eric hopes to catch her in a shark attack. (Jen, not Daniele. So far.) Well, at least Eric & Jessica get some time together, right? Julie greets America's player. Good Jobs all around in the house. Audio cuts out for a second again. Jameka is wondering if the blue ball was put in her tube or bounced in. Dick not wanting to hear it. Back to the interview. Eric, megafan, feels he played the best game he could under the circustances, and the people who voted him out would have been out if he'd been able to make his own decisions. Okay, he's a little bitter here, but he's sort of entitled. Julie doesn't seem to understand this concept: Eric could have done better on his own? In fact, who's Eric? Oh, he's the one who was showmancing Jessica -- wrong. Eric says he found something wonderful and real. Something which did not get in the way the game. He's just sad that his AP role may have undercut her game. Eric's AP cash total: $40,000. Eric is told that he will join Jessica in the jury house. The rumors of individual sequester get a little bit squelched. And -- sure enough -- those recap bits took up essential time. As with the first time they tried this, we don't have time for the second HoH competition. Come back on Sunday to see who wins. Stupid Chenbot. Dick complains about getting another Nick question wrong -- and we're out.

Don't forget that still doesn't solve the Zach problem. Under that scenario, Zach is still nominated by Jessica and presumably nominates her on his following HOH next to Jameka or Amber. During the fast forward, Jess still goes, ##### still wins HOH, Zach still wins veto and Eric is still gone because Amber and Jameka won't vote against each other. Eric's problems began when America forced him to evict Dustin. America forced him into an alliance he didn't want. And he might have STILL gotten away with it if not for four disastrous competitions in a row. Eric had to take a risk. Zach wasn't supposed to win HOH. If he hadn't, things might have been better. Eric's position would have been a million times better if he'd been allowed to position himself with people who were trying to evict the Donatos. I completely agree that America's Player screwed up his game. Being forced to the end with an unbreakable alliance? How are you supposed to get over that?

Oh Lawdy,Miss Claudy..... I can't BELIEVE I'm saying this but here goes: ANYBODY BUT DANIELE wins, and I'll be all right with it.She's SUCH a whining little baby, that even if ED wins; it would OK. Jameka? Fine. The only part I think is sucky is her "It's all been PRE-ORDAINED" Jeez!!! Now her winning would be a bona-fide MIRACLE and we've all witnessed it on our own televisions! Sainthood can't be far behind! (wait, does her religion believe in SAINTS?) Zach? The message would be: EVEN NUMBNUTS can win! (Oh, that already happened! last year!) ED? Fine, he's been okay when he hasn't been on the ropes. Personally, since he's the only one OVER 40,it would be GREAT if he won. Maybe then, they'd cast a FEW folks over 25-30 years old. That's all I've got. Daniele? OK, does anyone remember when she was telling ED Waaayyy back when, at the first of the game, that she LIED about how OLD she was? That she'd told "them" that she was already 21, when she was really 20?? Think that makes a difference to SeeBS? Or am I just grasping at straws here?

As much as I was highly disappointed in Jessica and Eric's departure. Look at who is left..Two Complete Floaters, and I use the term correctly, Zack did NOTHING the whole show as well as Jameka. Jameka admittedly couldn't do anything with HOH for weeks, Zack did the only thing he needed to do once. Two Complete backstabbers, This session is the perfect example of why you don't let Floaters continue in the game, because the backstabbers will win. Eric played the game he HAD to play, I often thought "OK he can just ignore the task." and in some ways he maybe should have, but what would that have got him. A pissed off America telling him to nominate Jessica, and vote her out at every turn. Eric's game had to keep America happy so they would at least be on his side, and keep in the game. It's unfortunate Zack's got the game play of a sea cucumber because I think he would have won in the end if he used the veto, forced ##### to put Dani up and voted her ##### out. I don't think the house would give Jameka the cash over Zach because all Zach has to say is, I got D&D out (That's the winning argument right there) Zach vs Eric would have been tough call but again Zach would have looked like the hero. Instead you have an anorexic that can stand on a beam 1/16th of a inch wide for a week and not get hungry or lose balance in the final HOH which is usually balance/stamina related. The only HOPE Zach has of winning is if it's an HOH where you have to hold yourself up. ##### has zero stamina, Dani doesn't have the strength to do it even though she probably weighs 65lbs. I'm going to toss out a prediction here with Zach's HOH. 1) Jamika and ##### go up (Because ##### will say DO NOT put Dani up I want to go up) 2) Jamika wins POV because Zach is safe he doesn't care who is playing and there is no reason to win POV unless he wants to pull ##### or Jamika off, which isn't going to happen. ##### can't win a POV of this magnitude it's always something stamina related. Dani thinks she'll be safe regardless of who wins, ##### wins he keeps the same, Jamika win, pulls herself off, putting Dani on the block, and because of Jamika's hatred of #####, he is gone. 3) ##### leaves the house. 4) Dani wins last HOH. 5) Dani boots Jamika out, because she'll think he is too much of a threat. 6) Zach wins BB8.

Unfortunately, Clubhouse shows that Dani won the POV. So Jameka is on her way home and we are stuck with the WORST final 3 in BB history. RIP, Bill Walsh

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Maggot and Evette were THE WORST two finalist in BB history! Neither one of them deserved the money. You might not like ##### but at least he's played the game from the moment he entered that house. He didn't sit on his A $$ reading the bible for two 1/2 months, he didn't FLOAT his way to the end like Zach, he hasn't hid behind his alliances either. He's been hated in that house since the first day and yet, HE'S STILL THERE! He deserves that money more then anyone. Without ##### in that house, this season would have gone down in flames w/ no one watching, no one signing up for the feeds and no one talking about it. Can't stand Dani but at least she had game and brought it. 2 HOH's and 5 POV's, not bad! Those two DESERVE to be in the finale.

LAST EDITED ON 09-09-07 AT 03:08 PM (EST)Nah, Bravie's right. This is the worst, the devil duo are despicable, and the BB8 cast in general suffers from total lameness, except for Jen. To find oneself hoping that the blasphemous bible thumper Jameka can somehow win (as I am now) forces one to admit that this is as low as the show can go. BB all-stars is a close second, but Will and heart breaker bonehead Janelle (why, Janelle? why?) redeem that season. The backyard jerk-off mike makes that season close, though. Maggie's season had some redeeming moments, such as any time that the Cubana Ivette had her mouth shut. Which wasn't often, and when Janelle was on screen, and Howies scourging of the blond with the big implants, Busto.

AMEN to that!!!! I really like D(i)ck. He may be offensive and rude and downright mean sometimes, but he doesn't pretend to be something he's not. I'm so sick of these "good" people acting so self-righteous when they are exactly like everyone else when it comes right down to it. I hope D(i)ck wins! Maggie and Ivette actually made me stop watching the show - they were the worst 2 in BB history!!!!

>I also think D!ck has played a great strategic game. Not >to mention that despite the fact that he is a >foul mouthed sore loser, he has nearly had the patient >of a saint in trying to get along with Danielle, >and did actually risk himself for her. I hope he wins, I'll be >so sad if self entitled Danielle, or holier than thou Jameka win. I agree lynkfri13, I've said it many times before. I would rather be associated with someone like Evil when you know what he's thinking then the people that are so fake you drive yourself crazy trying to figure out if what they say is what they mean. Outside the game, I think it seems he did the best he could, realized he is isn't going to win father of the year but is trying. As far as Zach, he obviously didn't think his nominations through. He wanted the one vote that was available to be from someone on his "side". Why take the chance by nominating them both from the get go. And I loved the speech, laughed loudly.

Can you imagine the whining that will ensue should Zac win final HOH? Yes the odds are that Dani will win endurance comp over her dad or Zac but it is not set in stone. Last year volcano disaster with Janelle (who had better win average than Dani) proves that. If Zac does manage to win final HOH, even his last remaining brain cell will tell him to take ED to the Final 2. Will Ed quit and leave house so that Zac will have to take Dani to the Final 2? Stay tuned!
