My first thought when she said that Thursday would be a two eviction episode was that they would: Evict a houseguest, like normal Hold an HOH comp, like normal Immediately request nominations from the HOH (similar to a double eviction) Immmediately ask the houseguests to vote on the nominees, with no time for scheming (similar to if the Coup d'Etat had been used) All of this would occur live, and no Veto would be involved. I could be wrong, or it could just be wishful thinking, but I find that to be an ideal situation to completely blindside the entire household, as she described. But since other factors come into play, such as the arguement that the producers try to manipulate the game, and this setup would entirely put the power in the hands of the houseguest who wins HOH, and would not have time to be adjusted and thus could realistically result in just about anyone's eviction, it may not be the ideal choice for the producers.   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

What you've suggested above seems to make the most sense for a second double eviction without throwing the hamsters off schedule and leading them to believe it would happen two weeks in a row. Your scenario seems plausible, but I wonder if there will be no vote, and the two people on the block both go home. I think a vote, a HOH, a possible POV, and another vote is a lot to fill one hour. And then wouldn't they need to do yet another HOH? Having no vote and sending both nominees out the door would make the initial noms and the POV very interesting, especially if the houseguests have no clue. Julie can say "Now is the time you usually go into the DR to vote. However you won't be voting tonight because both nominees are being evicted. It would be a suprise to all of them since the show would seem like a normal Thursday and both nominees will already be packed. The most important thing is that it is simple and we know that can't give Julie anything too difficult. If the script called for her to do an eviction, HOH, veto, second eviction and second HOH her head would explode. If both nominees do get evicted I wish they would have used this earlier because it would have really screwed up the use of a pawn. I think it would be fair to have two HOH's, two sets of nominations, 2 POVs, and 2 sets of eviction votes, but I'd also like to see the shakeup if they just evict both nominees that are on the block on Thursday. "RE: August 31 - Two Eviction Episode - Speculation" Correct me if I am wrong but the HG don't have any watches or clocks. Their concept of time is pretty much controlled by BB. The producers could easily get them onto the couch 1/2 hour or so early as if the live show were happening, do a little Chenbot chatter with them to keep up the ruse, then have them do the "live" (from their point of view) voting, eviction and the HOH comp. But in actuality BB is taping and editing this part to show us later, thereby controlling how long the segment takes. It lets them cut out the excess time such as getting the HG to the DR to vote and getting to the HOH setup while still letting the HG believe things are going as normal. Usually, after the HOH they gather them back on the couch for more chit chat to fill in the rest of time if the HOH went short. At this point the show actually goes live (at least for the East Coast) and Julie springs the twist on them: HOH nominate 2 now, do POV comp now, do POV ceremony now, vote again. Hopefully, she only reveals one task at a time to them so we get stunned reactions at the start of each bit and the potential for someone's head to completely explode. I've actually met Eddie at the local Starbucks, cool guy. Anyway, what would be cool for Thursday, get the first eviction out of the way asap. Now, for all the other comps, hoh, veto, eviction vote, have each remaining house member in a different location, and have them answer questions from that location to determine the winner. No need for a nomination or pov ceremony, they can be done while each hg is in their respective room. This way there can be no looking around at each other to try and see what everyone else wants. Even the vote can be done in this matter, have everyone just write down their vote for eviction. It may be kinda boring for most of the show that way, but it would be different. There have been competitions done this way before, and it would also be a huge timesaver. Then end with an endurance HOH. Oh, and it would be a severe injustice if Will doesnt win it all again. He certainly is the best player by far in there, and the most entertaining. Originally in season 2 I hated him, but as the season went on you couldnt not love him. "RE: August 31 - Two Eviction Episode - Speculation" I don't think they will do that, I think they will move the show along quickly in the beginning and after they have evicted Dani and after the HOH comp they may tell them as one poster suggested, tell them to go to separate rooms and then lay it on them that they are to vote now, they have put them in separate rooms for comps etc. on other seasons, this way for this immediate eviction there will be no looks or conniving as to who to vote out. If they let Janelle win HOH without knowing what's up then she will definitely be in the final four, but then she can't be HOH next week and that is when CT will send her packing. Can't wait for Thursday's live show. What does everyone else think? Once there are 4 it is very imposrtant to win HOH because you nominate 2 and only one person gets to vote because there are 2 on the block and one HOH which only leaves the one person to vote.
