PsychoKitty 678 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Reality Show Commentator" 10-19-08, 06:25 PM (EST) "Problem with IE v.7 just this weekend!!!" Hi! If anyone has an idea what's causing this, I'd really appreciate your help! As I LOVE to do, I came to the pages Sat night and today (Sun 10/19) and as soon as I started to view a thread, I would get "kicked out" of the page and get a Dell/Google search page. Finally I decided it was a glitch and gave up. Today, after seeming to work for a minute, I started getting kicked out again. And I am missing my message boards !!!! I got on successfully using Mozilla Firefox just now. I have made not changes to my computer since Thursday (10/16) when my IE was working just fine! and I regularly delete my intermediate files/cookies using my internet options/tool menu. Snidget 43862 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 10-19-08, 06:37 PM (EST) 1. "RE: Problem with IE v.7 just this weekend!!!" I had a problem for a few hours this afternoon (Sunday) that it would time out and not open the page at all. I use firefox, so that wasn't an IE7 only thing. Went I went offline tonight, I ran all my Norton and other vendor clean up type of programs, including Express Norton Clean up which supposedly clears off cookies and temp files. Who knows what program did it, but just to see, I came back online in IE and it's working now . . . ! So maybe just a random cookie was causing the problem? If anyone else is having a problem this weekend let us know Otherwise, I hope my IE keeps on working 'cause I love my Amazing Race and Survivor buddies!!!! And not being able to "connect" was triggering withdrawal pains! Thanks!
