"RE: you and me both" Swooping is something that (as far as I know) only occurs on RTVW's OT forum. It's not supposed to happen in any other forums (ask me how I know...). A swoop is when you make the 69th, 100th, 200th, etc. post to a thread. According to the swoop Nazis, a swoop only counts if it is your first time posting to the thread. Hope this helps! Hey tvhead, I've seen you around OT this week, and I assume that you're getting confused with alot of the abbreviations (and some inside jokes) that you might see there. Some common ones include DW or DH (which normally refer to Dear Husband or Dear Wife, or sometimes d@mn husband or wife, or might even refer to the one known as Devious Weasel ) Also, there are some common misspellings that you'll see on OT including thresd (instead of thread), lvoe (instead of love) and Poho (which is our beloved Princess Pooh). One other small suggestion: the majority of posters on this site adhere to proper grammar and punctuation. I would suggest, for clarity of your posts, that you try to adapt to this style if possible. The best thing to do is just hang out....read a lot more than you post....and be yourself. The OT gang is a great group of people.
