Darbygrl's Cornertime With Kismet <Cornertime intro plays and we see the shivering form of Darbygirl standing in the corner. She is still wearing her swimsuit, and it looks like she recently got out of the water. The camera pulls back and we see Kismet walking towards DG. >
Welcome again ladies and gentlemen to another cornertime. Today's interviewee is Darbygirl. She is a poster who has been around for quite awhile, but has managed to stay below the radar until recently.
<Kismet walks over to Darbygrl. They shake hands and Kismet gives DG a towel. As they take their seats on respective barstools, we catch sight of the timer which reads 1:30:10.>
Thank you for the interview Darbygrl. Why are you in the corner today?
I'm not exactly sure why I was sent here, perhaps pathetic "wannabe" behaviors to try to keep up with the others. Wanting a sig pic, wanting it animated...etc. Or it could be because my dog took a crap in GT's yard & I did not have a bag with me. OR for being a smartass and trying to get you to interview me out on the dock and not in the corner. Misto- sed I had to do my time like all the others and not on the dock! OR you could just say that my numerous typos in my posts bought me time in here.

Yup, that about sums it up. We had a hard time finding you, the airspace over the lake that you frequent is restricted due to it's proximity to Monkeyboy Island. How did you find us Darbygrl?
Could not converse about Survivor on a level that satified me-none of my friends obsessed about it like I did. So I turned to the Internet. Simple search led me here. I have stayed because quite frankly, I have a problem. I tried to go a week without reading or posting. I could not do it. Found the OT board .. enough sed. The people here on these boards are a breed of their
own. Love em!
So you love em huh? Who do you love the most?
Well boomer and Ice for my pic and animation, of course. My other faves are Sir-erist- such a gentleman. I love Vamps and Itz and Monkeyboy, Sherpa, sleeve, Superman, blah blah, too many to mention I have to admit I love Shakes's summeries. I let go of the other stuff when it blew up. (and I didn't make the cut) . He excells at making me LMAO. I love Cherrieberrie becuz she is a fellow dog lover. Everyone brings something different to the SB party. That's what is so great. I know this is b-nose-ish, but of course you are one of my faves- I marvel at how much you put together on a regular basis.
Well thank you Darbygrl. That sounds so strange without the 'i', makes me sound like I'm growling. Why did you choose the name Darbygrl?
My nickname comes from my Doberman. Her name is Darby and she is quite possibly the coolest dog I have ever met. The rest of the details are in the post from the screen name post from a while back. As for the "i", well I just like to bug the crap out of proofreaders.

You went with the waving skier sig pic? Do you look like the lady in red?
Hmmmmm.........loaded question. The whole blonde thing is appropriate becuz I thought it was a snow skier and got all excited when I first saw it. Then Cherrie informed me it was on water.... but skiing rocks on any surface. My friends used to call me "barbie" because I would hold my poles and hardly move all the way down the hill as if I had been posed. Now, no Barbie jokes or blonde jokes or I'll show up in chat and beat the tar out of you. I am really not a prissy type at all- not a tomboy either. I look like hell in red as I have Sami coloring.
Hmmm I did notice how pale you are, but I thought it was the stage lights. Did you get a proper greeting when you arrived?
Indeed. My first post was a "nick is a lazy ass loser" post. Katty and other nick lovers welcomed me, and told me to get my bashing butt over to bashers. They warned me to be afraid of Vamps becuz she loved nick and would not like my post. But I met her one morning in chat and she was really nice.
So you are pale and Vampkira was very nice to you? I bet you drank some tonic that morning as well. <Kismet shakes her head and gives a knowing smile to the camera.> It's OK.. I am glad that you were in chat once upon a time. Why haven't we seen you in the evening hours?
Fear. NO! kidding. I have popped into chat here and there. Usually during the day, as I am never conscious late at night so I miss a lot of the good bar time. I work out of my house as well as raise the crumb-crunchers so time is stolen on the boards. Not really shy. Slow to warm up and then well,,,,,, it goes from there.
Now that I can relate to. Tell us more about you and your life.
Well, I am 32 and have been married for 8 years. Have 3 girls - two human , one canine. Girls are 5, 2,1 respectively. Think kids and dogs teach us a hell of a lot about life and humble the best of us. I have a Doberman as I mentioned. I love dogs. Someday I will have several. No room or $, for that many freaking vet bills now. I work for a friend of mine. We make and sell keepsake birthday party hats and accessories for upscale children's stores. Small business that has really taken off. Sounds really froofy, but they are really pretty cool . I also take on side projects for my father's business. Whatever brings in the bucks, ya know. Hobbies, don't have any now that I have found SB. I tend to be a bit of a feminist- as you probably guessed from my "women are smarter" Grateful Dead quote.
I have been dying to ask this next question. If you were stuck on a deserted island with one poster, who would it be? Give us a male and a female.
Male-. Not JV I think he would kill me- I like to talk. He told me to shut up the other day. Female- I think Itz - because she loves to talk. I think we would talk the whole time and not notice that we were stranded. (plus I know she is a dog lover as well)

Well, I aspire to make it into chat and raise some hell there sometime. Seems like you can let it hang out there. I love to mix a good drink for friends. As you know, I like to send virtual drinks for celebratory occasions. <Citrus flavored vodka and tonic, Kis?> I would kill for twizzler Pull and Peel. Thanks Kis, for including me in the interviews!
