"RE: Post Show Promo" Eddie and Reynold see the writing on the wall and are scrambling to stay in the game. Sherri is in the leadership position in the tribe and they are trying to appeal to her reason. The back-to-back fan boots has got to get the hamster running on the wheel in Sherri's head. Sure, she has numbers, but a challenge losing streak would put them at risk of a pagonging after the merge. As a strong player, she would see the reason of keeping around the stronger challenge players. Even if it's just misdirection about who wins the IC, it's still an important look at Gota strategy. And if Gota doesn't go to TC this time, then I think Eddie may succeed in his argument. Otherwise, why show it? There's plenty of drama that could be shown instead.   Top

"Agree" LAST EDITED ON 03-02-13 AT 10:38 PM (EST) <best Mr. Monk voice> Here's what happened -- Coming back from Tribal Eddie is making noise because he got three votes in the first vote, they were going to vote him out if Hope was protected by the idol. So all the talk about valuing strength was for nothing. At least in Eddieworld. In Sherriworld she knows she does value strength and the plan was always to take out Hope and the split vote was insurance. It's frustrating having to deal with Eddie over this but she can get animated and gesture in his face and get her face in his face because that is the body language of the power position, and she has to express power over strength because everyone is watching and she doesn't want the challenge liabilities in her alliance getting rattled too much. Game continues.   Top

LAST EDITED ON 03-03-13 AT 00:10 AM (EST) For the life of me, I cannot see how that could be conclusive that it's a person with a tattoo - it doesn't even look like it might be a shoulder to me. I blew it up to 6 times the original size and tweaked the colour/brightness, and all I could get was that it was a dark object (knee? shoulder? piece of clothing?). Could be Shamar (dark skin), could be Laura (dark blue pants), could be Julia (dark hair). Incidentally, Corinne has been doing some dissing of Andrea and Phillip on Twitter since Thursday ... I'm more convinced that she's the boot next episode and there will be two people leaving - a medievac and Corinne. ETA: Scratch Julia. It looks like Gota and the grey shirt looks like Eddie's but Gota has much more lightly colored clothes than Bikal and all we see are dark colors and this looks like a purple buff: To post a picture here, just save it first in your documents then open a new post where you want to post the image. - Look above your post and you should see: "Click here to upload your file" - A new window will open. In file type, click jpeg image then use the "browse" button to go to your image. -Click on your image to select it and then use the upload button. -The new window will show the "http//" tag of your picture. Copy that and paste it in your post. You can Preview your post if you want and then make your post. 2 things could go wrong. The "click here..." doesn't always show up depending on your settings. Click "preview" below your post and it should then appear. Images may have to be resized. The board uploads images of 75kb or less only. Hope this will help   Top

"RE: PIP" MIchel: While that zoom in does appear to resemble a buff, if you pull the shot out as is seen in the above vidcaps, you can see that that particular article of clothing is far larger than the wife beater t-shirt, (that is hanging on the branch in front of this branch) and it has "arms" hanging down (or perhaps legs - at least extensions). So it is far larger than a buff. And, if you examine the shots of the Gota tribe arriving, you can see that there are plenty of dark colored clothing. I do think that it is the Gota tribe area....imho.   Top

"RE: PIP" Yeah, as mentioned above, it really does appear to be the Fans as we were shown Matt/Julia in the same group of vidcaps as the arrival of Jiffy and the medical team: Note to michel and others: There's no source spoiler that I've seen that talks about this medievac, so your guess is as good as mine as to who it is. Let's run through the likely candidates based on vidcaps and their edits thus far on the Got-a-Hurt tribe: Definitely safe Sherri - I'd say she's safe as she looks like a definite long-term player. Matt - safe based on the above vidcap. Julia - safe based on the above vidcap. Who knows? But doesn't feel like it could be them as there were no hints last ep. Michael Reynold Eddie Most likely possibilities Shamar - Pro = could be ironic with his un-quitting and his size. Con = didn't show any hints of a medical issue and has the size and ability to withstand unforgiving conditions, having already survived two tours in Iraq. Laura - Pro = she showed complete weakness during the last immunity challenge and had a very slow manner of sitting down at Tribal Council where she reached out with her hand before sitting - could she be trying to hide a worsening medical problem? Also had an uptick in confessionals. Con = the same uptick in confessionals could also mean that she's around for the longer haul. Regarding the 'dark colour' shown in the vidcaps, I've speculated that it's either Shamar with his dark skin and bald spot or Laura with her dark blue pants.   Top

Anyway, stating the obvious -- this is not during the hurricane. It's sunny, things are hanging up to dry, probably after. So, whoever we see in the hurricane and rats caps, they can't be ruled out on that basis. What are the chances this is hurricane related? I hate to say it but the shelter is looking pretty shoddy in some of those caps, and a solid piece of bamboo under hurricane forces can become a deadly object.   Top

Shamar is MedEvac" RC and IC Reward Challenge SitOut: Cochran Tribes run out and pick up 2 members from pedestals transferring them beyond 3rd pedestal where rest of tribes try to stand on 4th pedestal. (Tribes @ RC) (Cochran volunteers for sitout) (All tribe members running into water. Brenda on pedestal. Andrea on 2nd Pedstal.) (Tribes @ RC. Laura and Julia on Pedestals for Gota. Both tribes heading for 3rd pedestal.) (Gota Post-RC) IMO: Bikal Wins RC. Immunity Challenge SitOuts: Corrine and Dawn. 5 members run out on floats, grab a wood mallet and release ball (with key attached). Run back. Once all 5 balls/keys retrieved, other try to unlock chest with sandbags. Toss sandbags to knock over series of blocks. 1st tribe to knock all blocks off wins. (Brandon with II) (Matt and Brenda during IC) (Matt @ IC running on floats. Corrine and Dawn are Sitouts. You can see Dawn behind Erik. Brandon running for Bikal.) I thought that the press pictures had mixed the challenge pics together to make it look like the tribes were intact for the IC. The order definitely looked suspicious given that some of the pics clearly showed a pier in the background while others did not, but it would switch back and forth if you looked at them in order. So it looks like the medivac takes place between RC and IC, but the IC still takes place.   Top

Gota is pretty close to knocking all their blocks and you can see Brenda with her back turned to the action. She doesn't want to see what's about to happen. I'll even add that Brenda will have heard something by now to tell her she's on the block. There's a lot of pictures of Brenda in the images and the one with Phillip seems very telling. Of course, Phillip could be explaining his technique to bump a wide receiver off his route! (Where are his hands going?!) With Shamar going, I don't know why Bikal wouldn't go for a bigger target themselves though.   Top

What happened to the puzzles? I liked them better... Anyway, i agree, alot of pics of Brenda and Corrine, imo. Could be that they are on the block this week. Definitely, to me it looks as though Brenda is coming to Phillip for assurance of some kind, while Corrine looks happy as a lark.... Definitely, it's Shamar....if he's medivac'd, would they rehydrate him and return him possibly?   Top

No. If they go to the trouble of showing us a medical intervention in the game, it is an out of the game situation. Per Hope's RTVW interview I don't believe she spent any time with Shamar at the Ponderosa, so whatever takes him out of the game is serious enough to put him in a hospital bed and a stay there until he recuperates.   Top

Shamar is MedEvac" Thanks for singling out the Brenda/Phillip pic, got me thinking "Let's try to see things from Phillip's perspective." (From his previous season this is something I am extremely reluctant to do.) Whatever else Phillip may be, he isn't dumb. He knows he needs a solid alliance and people he can trust when they get to the merge. He also knows there is a crack in his alliance, Andrea (Phillip-approved even) is moving to position herself above Corinne. This is dangerous, but Phillip has to work his options. There are three people in the tribe not solid in the Stealth alliance. Of those, we know there is something about Erik that Phillip likes. We know that Phillip put Brandon way down in the scheme of things, even told Brandon as much, and Brandon reacted negatively to that. Frankly, this is one thing I don't hold against Brandon, Phillip was pretty condescending (and annoying) while putting Brandon in his place. We have no idea what Phillip thinks of Brenda. Of the three non-Stealth in Bikal, Brenda is actually the smartest and best player per previous seasons. Phillip may be recruiting her as a replacement member of Stealth. Personally, I think they should get rid of Brandon next time they go to Tribal, but Probst's tease about ep 5 makes me think they keep him around.   Top

Shamar is MedEvac" Excellent job on the cap analysis, I think this: Shows Eddie in his "oh no not again look" and I think Phillip on the other side is throwing the winning balls. Therefore I think that Bikal wins immunity and we should at least consider a Gota going home. It will be either Laura or Julia and I'm torn between the two. With no Shamar they will want to stay strong plus Reynold has the idle and Eddie is too strong to loose now. Laura admitted last weak that she sucked at the challenge and she also made the strategic play to confuse Reynold. OTOH Julia is shown in a lone vidcap like OFG theroy and I don't see any pics of Laura like that. I think the Corrine talk at Bikal is for the future since they are a well oiled machine right now. If Gota have to go to TC having lost Shamar already for medical reasons, the vote magnet is gone and Laura is their main challenge liability. On the other hand, if Eddie and Reynold strength and athleticism isn't winning Gota any challenges, what good are they? On the other other hand, assuming Brandon is the one destroying the camp next week per Jiffy's tease (and who else could it be?) -- what's the catalyst? Stupid as the whole idea is in the first place, it is doubly stupid as long as he thinks he has options in the game.   Top

Brandon can get paranoid because his tribe isn't losing and therefore the longer they win the longer they can't vote anyone out so the longer the chances that he will do something stupid and get back on the radar. Bikal is ahead for most of the challenge and the tease of Tribal Unity versus Tribal Division leads me to believe that the unified tribe indeed performs better. Alas, most of the press photos (outside of challenge shots) are of Bikal camp. Add to that the tease for an Ep5 Blowout, the proposal of targetting Corrine AND Brandon's promise to burn the camp down "if we lose" leads me back to thinking somehow Bikal loses the IC. Laura's admission of being a challenge liability does not take into consideration that her and Sherri are tight. They are often seen together and in those moments are often grooming each other, so I seriously doubt that after losing Shamar that Sherri would even remotely agree to getting rid of Laura. Julia is an unknown and she is a lot less productive in challenges but again, I just can't see what is left of the majority alliance on Gota choosing to boot Julia. I wouldn't read too much into the survivors facial expressions as... The Gota lose the RC but look at how happy Shamar, Reynold and Sherri look in this cap... AND this one where Brenda has literally turned her back on the challenge... Eddie is probably frustrated only because it is soo close between the tribes and Reynold happened to miss.
