Check out Malcolm's secret scene this week:http://www.cbs.com/shows/survivor/video/_0V_B8vEZo3BpTg7wvYLyjfiT358YqX_/survivor-philippines-an-edge-for-fans Awww, this is such a sweet story that makes me heart Malcolm even more:
- Malcolm and his family are all huge Survivor fans because Survivor was the only TV show they were allowed to watch on week nights growing up.
- That's why he knew that tying sticks together to make a pole is a common challenge, and he actually practiced this for a couple days (using golf clubs and string) in his backyard.
- He says the practice definitely made the difference in winning the IC this week and should be a lesson to all true Survivor fans. I must say, I'm usually critical of casting but this season I think they've done a phenomenal job. So many likeable players and interesting people vs. models etc. And I love how many of the players are true students / fans of the game. Even Lisa (who I expected to hate) has pleasantly surprised me. Yes, she's been grating lately with all her crying and soul searching, but she clearly knows the game and her confessionals show she's strategic.

Neat, and I probably wouldn't have seen it had you not posted. CBS has made its video selection a lot less user friendly this season (IMO).I agree about the casting for the people who made end game. Honestly, the people who were eliminated early seemed to be as bad as ever, the pageant girls. I could barely identify one of them by name. Luckily, the real players and fans took control of the game.
