Shii: first beautiful day, but it hasn't brightened my mood; I have few friends, I'm stuck with people who don't like me. It's unpleasant Shii fights with Jenna, calls her a bossy bitch. Rupert comes back from fishing, talks about the ones that got away. Rupert: nobody helps me clean, but they all want to eat fish. I feel used and abused. If they ask which fish is theirs, I'll say the one they catch and clean. Jenna: I'm not big enough to catch. Rupert's strategy of only bringing enough fish for himself is maddening. Jenna and Rupert fight over the fish situation. Rupert: Jenna's a pain in the ass. I'm sorry I have an alliance with her. Shii--likes the dynamics of the tribe. Don't count me out yet. (This is misdirection for a possible Jenna boot, most likely. won't happen) Reward challenge. Loved ones come in among lots of tears. Amber's mom Cheryl Rob's brother Mike (they kiss cheeks!) Shii's mom Lilly Tom's son Bucky Bo Jenna's brother John Rupert's wife Laura (side note: wow!) Jeff practically tells them to get a room. Challenge: menu from every place we've been each round we will lose one person winner: gets overnight with loved-one. Loved ones are doing the eating, as predicted. 1. Fish heads--from Malaysia. Last one to finish is out. John, Lilly, Bo, Laura, Mike are good. Cheryl (Amber) is out. 2. Flying cockroaches from Panama. John, Bo, Laura, Mike. Lilly (Shii) is out. 3. Fafaru (?) fish marinating in sea-water 3 days--as Boston Rob remembers! ouch--horrible faces! Bo, John, Mike. Laura (Rupert) is out. 4. Tarantulas, from Thailand. ooops--John took a drink! he's out. He's arguing. Jeff said you could only take a drink once mouth has been cleared. 5. lives grubs from Australia. Bo swallows whole! wins reward for Tom, they do silly dance together. They are toasted. Singing "Swing Low" (on the swing, get it?) very badly--could be on Am. Idol this season. Rob and Tom discuss strategy with their loved-ones. Rob brags about how he snaked Lex. Tom: I think Rob might get first and second. Rob: I don't trust Big Tom. Day 32. Back at Sabogomogo or whatever that is. Rupert: as soon as they all came back, we put them to work. Tom: My son is used to hard work. But Rob and his brother weren't helping get diddlysquat Rup took Bo out spear fishing, per Tom's request. Rup: I protect those spears. This is hard, Bo wasn't the greatest swimmer. Bo lost head of spear, Rup. had flashbacks to Shawn. Shii--if I don't win, I'm next to go. (ya think?) slo-mo shot of asses walking in. gack! Challenge: test ability to make fire quickly and keep it going. 1 bucket used to build fire, 2nd bucket--fill with water. weight will drop, raise fire, light fuse. the trick? bucket with water has a hole, so you have to keep eye on fire while racing to fill. Holey Buckets Batman! Rupert already has fire, racing for water. Tom has fire. Rob has fire. Now Jenna, now Shii-Ann, big fire, trying to make it last. Rob's fire bucket is up, but fire isn't strong enough. He had enough water but he has no flame. (does amber know this?) All water drained out of Tom, Shii's fire is out. Everybody starts again. Rob down to last match. Wind playing a factor. Rob is out, out of matches, out of competition. Even with matches, tough time getting fire. Amber is out of matches. Rupert is out of matches, he's out. Jenna's out. Down to Big Tom and Shii. Tom tending his fire. Tom is back getting water. Shii has fire again. Tom is close. He's got it; Tom wins immunity! Shii gives him a hug, sees writing on wall.   Top

Amber gets water, cooks. Rob has been trying to fish, but majority of work is Rupert and Tom Rob: I haven't been as productive--I've tried to fish as much as Rupert, out there giving it a shot. Amber: Factoring in last couple of days as well as whole game. People have changed since day one. I'm paranoid and annoyed with it. Rupert: paranoia in our tribe has started to rip alliances and friends apart. Rup recounts fight with jenna over fish. Jeff: why do you get the first fish if that's your role. Shii--paranoia over food is mostly pointed out by Jenna. Rupert deserves that fish, I don't blame him. It's all Jenna's complaining. Shii puts it out on the table--why aren't Tom and I being recruited to eliminate 2 power couples. I'm going to cast my vote to shake up tribe, expose person I think will win million, person to watch out for. Time to vote. Otherwise Tom actually believes rob will take him over Amber? Other observations: Tom making fun of Rupert and his wife. But when they showed ole Tom in the background when they were hugging, he was teared up, the old coot. And the nerve of him to say that after weeks of watching the Rob and Amber show??? I also noted Rupert was a good sport, he was the first to clap when Tom won RC. Rob never did join in........ I'm worried about the edit. They are showing both Jenna and Rupert starting to show some emotions, more than the others. This isn't good, at least not for Rupert. I'm not worried about their getting on each other's nerves. Mike finished 2nd, so it was the sportsmanship way to go 2. He didn't want to see the Rupert/Laura reunion 3. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, he needed to keep an eye on Rob, bond with him some more, and keep Rob from bonding with the women even more. It was a smart move.   Top
