Thanks Webby!The purple cage is obviously for the returning Ghost Tribe. This looks like the escape challenge recycled from last season. The big question is what kind of a challenge is this? Probably not a RC, probably not an IC...this must be some kind of a merge challenge used to reintroduce Ghost members into the mix. What does the winning tribe get? Is there a penalty or price to pay if you lose? What happens if the Ghost Tribe loses? Would MB really go to all this trouble to bring back the Ghost tribe just to have then lose and disappear once and for all? Seems to risky...there must be some mechanism whereby he has guaranteed the return of at least one member of the Ghost tribe. How does he do it?

I am still really pondering how this is all going to work. The Ghost Tribe is there for a REASON so aside from just coming back to mess with their heads, it can't be JUST for that.Now I did note or so I thought that the typical and a blank member is voted out was not in the teaser which leads me to wonder if we won't have a boot but rather just the returning member which could be the vote. Commercial break for random observation. Notice that Jeff said to Trish the sixth member voted out of the Panama Islands? That kinda made me went hmmmm. His phrasing has been somewhat different with his usual goodbye notation this season. Back from commerical. Okay we have an even 5-5 deal here with 6 ghosties. One sits out? And while I have the most utmost respect for Phoenix, maybe only 5 return and their competition elsewhere was to determine which 5 would return. But regardless we have a jail break challenge. What I am wondering is the premise of Jeff works this. The Ghost Tribe COULD lose so what is the point unless there is something for everyone. Just like Drake losing that IC on purpose, I honestly believe the Rupert steal was solely designed if Drake lost. So there has to be a blanket contingency to work with in the event of who wins. For a two parter there is no problem in delaying an official TC. If this is NOT considered an TC challenge, but merely a challenge for the winning tribe to have an option of something then I guess if D or M win, it could just be they win the choice of who to vote back in. If the Ghosts won however, it would be ridiculous for them to vote one of them back in; it makes no sense. What would their "prize" be vote someone out but then how does someone get back in? After all this it is simple because they could merge and just have your typical II event. I really need to go back and think about this.  "But Daddy, I Want It Now"

This is my first time posting, so I hope this is the right place. And please, go easy on me This is my first season reading these spoiler boards, so I'm a total amature. I'm not sure if this scenario has been presented. I absolutely HATE the idea of someone coming back into the game for a second chance. So I refuse to even entertain that possibility, LOL. BUT, we do know that the bootees are coming back ("your past comes back to haunt you"). So, WHAT IF, instead of 3 tribes (drake, morgan and ghost), there's 4- drake, morgan, drake BOOTEES, and morgan bootees. And the challenge is the real drake and morgan teams are locked in their jail cells.. Ryan S, Nicole and Lil compete against Burton, Michele and Trish to free them. Team who get's rescued first wins. Then the bootees go back to being the losers that they are. It would be quite brilliant, becuase if the bootees are bitter and pissed, then they have absolutely no motivation to help their former tribemates win. I know, it doesn't fit into the older woman coming back spoiler. And it's probably not complicated enough to warrant a 2 part episode either. Wishful thinking on my part?? Becca

I really like this idea, Becca. The losers come back and are instructed to free up their previous team members and the order of free-ups establishes the new tribes. For instance, the first five freed go to new Tribe #1 and the last five out go to new Tribe #2. Maybe there are really four cages and we are only allowed to see three. The Morgan tribe would be cage #1, the Drake tribe in cage #2. The new Tribe #1 goes to cage #3 and new Tribe #2 goes to cage #4.

I don't believe in the ghost tribe. sure, I can be wrong. but I'm in denial. ghost tribe pisses me off. yes, there's a 3rd cage. yes, it is for the booted off players. but, maybe this challenge is something totally weird where they do some sort of mid-challenge swapping with the former players as a strategy for completing the challenge. then they find out after the challenge that this is their new tribe. I don't know. I just really hate the ghost tribe and am trying to get around it somehow.

That is a great way to mix up the tribes Breezy. Your theory would also fit the "your past comes back to haunt you". The ghosts know all about the alliances and what was talked about at TC so they are the ones that get to mix the tribes up.Interesting theory, however, we still have that pesky "purple" cage to deal with.

If a ghost doesn't free themselves they can't screw someone on their old tribe like they want to? Or it could be something just as simple as Osten the wuss quits and the ghosts are competing at the same time as Morgan and Drake are at either RC or IC for the right to take Ostens place.

I don't think it's to take someone's place, because I don't think anyone quits.I think maybe they participate in the challenge as a 3rd team, but I think somehow they end up swapping ppl around, and that somehow brings old ppl back in when they are told at the end of the challenge that these are their new tribes. okay, here's how i'm going to explain it. maybe they are told that this is an individual challenge of sorts. that is, the first tribe to get 5 of its original members out onto the mat will win. then the twist: those 5 are now the new tribe. the rest get divided somehow into 2 tribes also and we have that same old scenario where there are 2 boots per ep until the merge. *shrug*

I with you guys on no ghost tribe, I just don't believe that MB would let people have a 2nd chance, once you are gone, you're gone. I do think that they get to some how participate in this challenge and they get to determine the new tribes. As far as the older woman going far and being in the final four, it could be Sandra. Ok, she is not older, but she definately looks older than the other women and by the end she could look even older. Plus to have the betting scandel on her side.YenSid

First time poster in spoilers, please be patient.cqvenus I completely agree. There is no completely fair way to pull this off. The first issue is with the sequestering of the "ghost" tribe members, the second is with the high probability that the ghost tribe loses the challenge and third it goes against the concept of the game...the tribe has spoken, fire is life yada, yada, yada. Even if the alleged ghost tribe comes back for only 1 challenge, what is the point? I would think that this manuever would cause serious dissention and discord among the other tribe members and the reinducted person would be a walking target. Just my .02

Do we have anything concrete that says the purpose of the purple cage is for the "ghosts"? What if the purple cage is part of the challange itself- like getting from one cage to another? Just food for thought.I'm also in the "no return players" camp, so my hope is that this is a delayed merge, with the "ghosts" asking individual players questions, and then if they get it wrong, they have to go to the "purple cage" to be divided up by the ghosts in a "swap". 6 days together, then merge to 1, all on the jury! How's that for rationalizing?

Taking a little bit from several other posters' ideas: Perhaps the goal here is to be the first 9 into the third cage. The only people who can be in the third cage are the remaining survivors. It is the task of the ghosts to try to keep out or hinder those they don't like from entering the third cage (sort of like a hockey goal). So the remaining survivors are helping each other get in and the ghosts are trying to help/hinder as they please. Alternative could be, as noted before, perhaps it is the first 5 to get in to the third cage who become a new tribe with the other 5 becoming the second tribe and going to tribal council.

Hi all. My first time posting here; I've done my homework and caught up on all the historical discussions, so with any luck I won't be showing signs of outrageous newbitude even if that is actually my condition.Anyway, my point/question: The information I've read about the Final Three (older woman, younger woman, buff bloke with a beard) has not referred to the race of the individuals concerned. I'm not sure where the F3 info came from -- is it eye witness testimony from someone spying on the production from afar? If so, why wouldn't the race of the individuals in the purported F3 be mentioned, when there are several races represented in the contest? Is this simply the informant trying to be politically correct by not commenting on the colour of someone's skin as part of their physical description, or have I missed the thread where this was discussed? My generalized vibe on this is that if the buff bloke with the beard in F3 were black, this would have been stated specifically by any informant who was attempting to share as much valid information as possible. Likewise the womenfolk alleged to make it that far -- are we defaulting to assuming they're white because we don't have any indications to the contrary, or whut? If I need a slap and a point in the direction of the thread where revelations of this nature were previously made, please feel free to mete out both. OK, so now I need to find a signature picture or something. ;)

Maybe the purple cage is just for the merge tribe, not for the booted players.I'm sure the booted players have a role in the merge, but what kind of role? I can't imagine that they will be given a second chance in this game.

(end of listing) I'm inclined to believe this may be a Panama native wedding that maybe the RC winner gets to "host" but they get to enjoy food, enterainment etc.

I'd be inclined to believe that "one tribe hosts a wedding" means that the camp site of one of the 3 tribes becomes the home of the merged tribe after the "marriage" of the remainder of survivors...
