PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

2. "Analysis" |
LAST EDITED ON 09-26-01 AT 03:15 AM (EST)Okay... it's clear that Anthony and Laura aren't the power couple any more... oh well... Michael appears to win the switch card this episode (note the apparent phone call to loser island to invite someone back)... this may be what pisses Anthony off. Michael and Tomiko are paired up, and it's clear that they lose the mud-pit contest (#18), but I suspect that the sled-pulling is also a part of this contest... eventually, Michael must win. From TV Guide Online: The ship docks at Margarita Island off the coast of Venezuela, where the couples compete in a salsa-dance contest voted on by the locals. The top team wins immunity from the evening's election for Loser Island's newest residents. Justin Gunn is the cruise director. Therefore, the switch card and immunity are separate contests... who will win immunity??? A final thought... the "blackmail" line: Sounds like Michael knows how to play the game, and is ready to bargain... it's very possible that he will hold on to it to make sure he's not voted out... but after the votes, he's probably gonna make an offer that someone can't refuse... maybe that's how Gina, the strategizer, gets back into the game. Well... actually one more thought: preview face time would suggest exits for Lisa, Jeanette, or Toni and for Anthony, Michael, or Adrian. EDIT: Note Melissa will be given a "BS" dare... she has to remove her top and pose for a photo... this clearly fits with the other previews we've seen of her ducking behind something to remove her top!!! Now this is must-see TV!!!
You never know what might be up my sleeeve...

LAST EDITED ON 09-27-01 AT 02:27 AM (EST)Okay... they really led us a lot further than normal with the "Episode 2" previews... I don't know how many episodes they cover, but we still haven't seen: >Michael appears to win the switch >card this episode (note the >apparent phone call to loser >island to invite someone back)... >this may be what pisses >Anthony off. ***It's not the switch card... it looks like he gets to be the first person to invite someone back into the game... based on the "hotel spoiler" that a honeymooner provided, we know that he has a connection with Bob, and it would make sense to bring the guy back, because he was voted off before anyone really got to know him... that's my prediction for whenever this actually emerges.*** >Michael and Tomiko are paired up, >and it's clear that they >lose the mud-pit contest (#18), >but I suspect that the >sled-pulling is also a part >of this contest... eventually, Michael >must win.
***Okay... Michael still hasn't paired with Tomiko, yet... next ep?*** >From TV Guide Online: >The ship docks at Margarita Island >off the coast of Venezuela, >where the couples compete in >a salsa-dance contest voted on >by the locals. The top >team wins immunity from the >evening's election for Loser Island's >newest residents. Justin Gunn is >the cruise director.
***So apparently by "immunity" they meant the switch card.*** >A final thought... the "blackmail" line: > Sounds like Michael knows >how to play the game, >and is ready to bargain... >it's very possible that he >will hold on to it >to make sure he's not >voted out... but after the >votes, he's probably gonna make >an offer that someone can't >refuse... maybe that's how Gina, >the strategizer, gets back into >the game. ***we have no idea who the blackmail will pertain to, because we don't know which episode this clip was from*** >EDIT: Note Melissa will be given >a "BS" dare... she has >to remove her top and >pose for a photo... this >clearly fits with the other >previews we've seen of her >ducking behind something to remove >her top!!! Now this >is must-see TV!!!
***I can't wait for this... what I wouldn't give for the extra footage from the cutting room floor... where's that editor from the show??? e-mail me, kidhell... any dirt on Mike would be fun, too ***
