I think that I have a true spoiler about LC... I think that shakes the clown (aka Mike) survives until at least the second episode...Here's the evidence:
From Fox.com official website (under construction):
"Sixteen singles will set a course (hopefully) for love on a 10-day tropical cruise. The catch is, in the tradition of reality television, that the eight men and eight women will be on camera 24/7. Will warm breezes, umbrella drinks and eligible singles lead to a dream vacation? Tune in and find out! "
And from ew.com:
"Very few people get the opportunity to be rejected by eight women in the space of five minutes on national TV," says Michael, a 30-year-old Windy City lawyer, recalling his experience as one of the aforementioned forlorn bachelors. (The sad sacks ultimately did find companions, as the doubly chosen he-men had to give up one of their admirers.) "I'm used to that on a one-on-one basis in the bar, where you go back to your table and your friends make fun of you. But this is a whole new level of exposure."
"I was shocked to see the way that everyone floated from one person to another," says Michael. "Someone might be making out with someone on day one, and on day three they're having sex with someone else. There was quite a relay race going on."
Okay, now the interpretation:
According to Fox.com, this is a ten-day long cruise, during which 14 people will be voted out in pairs (at the end of each episode), leaving two winners... that means that there will be a total of seven episodes, each of which ends with two less contestants than it started with.
If it is a ten day cruise, that means that there are nine nights (and remember, the contestants must spend the night together)... that means that if each episode covers one night, there are two nights unaccounted for... most likely, these two extra nights will come at the end, while the final few singles try to make a real love connection (oops, wrong show)... in other words, the first few episodes will be one night each, meaning Episode one lasts from day one to two, episode two lasts from day two to three, and so on...
From the description of Michael in the ew.com article, we know that he is a windy city lawyer (and thus he MUST be shakes, who is a windy city lawyer that is appearing on LC)... we also know that Mike (BTW, shakes, do you prefer Mike or Michael???) has knowledge of what is happening on day three...
Thus, shakes the clown, who is Mike from Chicago, does NOT get kicked off in Episode one, IMO... I know he can't say anything, but I feel like I've pieced something together from absolutely nothing... quite proud of myself... Now I'm even more sure I'm gonna be wrong...
