I really am. I think she is hilarious. I love how her whole gig now is just making fun of her encounters with the celebrities we see if front of the camera. I can't wait!!!!!   Top

So if nothing else, she's probably figured out how not to make a complete fool of herself in front of the cameras by now. Probably. This could be a major train wreck -- but if it is, there's a good chance she shattered the brake on purpose.   Top

"RE: Kathy Griffin reality show" I believe she was on two episodes of Sienfeld, one which she was suppose to bring barbeque sauce for a routine Jerry wanted to do, and a second time for having her own stand up show in which her whole routine is slamming Jerry. I thought she was great in the latter episode (which seems to personify her professional life) but overall, she just annoys me.   Top

What a horrible thing to happen. I heard she discusses it in her new Stand up thing on Bravo, called something like "I am not Nicole Kidman". It comes on right before her new reality show. I am so sad. I don't have Bravo, the channel that all her stuff airs on. I will have to go watch it at a friend's house... I hope that her D-List standup comes out on Dvd like "Allegedly" did. She said she still has 30% sight loss in one eye, but the other eye is just great. I don't know if she has more surguries planned. She's warning everyone AGAINST having Lasix, that's for sure! ETA: I don't have cable, but if I did, I would watch this show. She totally cracks me up, and I, too, love that she's D List and knows it.   Top

"RE: Kathy Griffin reality show" I can't wait for her this Wednesday, Tivo's ready for the show as well as her new special that's airing just before the series premier. One thing has been bugging me about her though, her hair. I want her phone number so I can call her and beg her to ditch her freaky bangs. I know she's had lots of face work lately, she really needs to top it off with a new 'do'. As it is right now I want to snatch her wig off everytime I see her, it really looks very 'wiggy'. This is possibly the gayest thought I've ever had, but something needs to be said. Where I work I tend to see celebrities up close quite often and I've seen her twice in the past year. I never go up to them just because regardless of being a fan or not I don't know them and have nothing I feel I need to say to them. This is an exception, and due to the fact that I am a fan, I feel like maybe I should say something to her if I see her again. It's like she's hiding something up there, why else would she keep that big heavy wad of hair on her head? On one side, she needs contact with people in the lists above hers to increase her status, get her projects moving, and provide her with material. On the other, she makes a living by taking those encounters with A-C listers and turning them into that bashing material -- which makes those people really reluctant to associate with her, because today's charity benefit is tomorrow's routine. So she has to fawn over celebrities and get close to them in order to bash them and drive them away. Problem.   Top

I haven't seen this show, but it kinda sounds like Lisa Kudrow's show on HBO called the Comeback...it's a fake reality show... For those of you that have seen both, how similar are they? I think that Kathy Griffin's and Lisa Kudrow's shows are completely different. Kathy Griffin's show is a real reality show, if there is such a thing .... Lisa Kudrow plays a character who is on a reality show, if that makes any sense... I really love both of the shows listed above. Both make me laugh my @ss off... I think that they are two completely different things though. By the way. Watch Kathy Griffins new show and her new stand up, both are way funny, especially when she makes fun of Clay Aiken and Oprah. jmho   Top

She started her routine narrating the bizarre Julia Roberts with the Horses in China tv program, then stepped out of the audience right beside us. Her show was hilarious. I became her big fan when she hosted that show commenting on Reality shows. It was very first generation. I still remember the first time I saw it, she predicted Mitchell was next out on Survivor, and I thought the same thing (and it was accurate) and I have loved her ever since. I really loved her on Celebrity Mole. That was a great show! But, I have to admit that this guy I know is a producer for cable and he's interacted with her. He said she is really a diva about her hair!   Top

"RE: Kathy Griffin reality show" I caught the tail end of the show when she was bashing Clay Gaykin--as she refers to him--she was very funny because she does tell it like it is (to use the cliche) She seems like someone you could talk to and feel like you've known forever. The approachable type; very down to earth. That's what's so funny to me about her comedy is that she is unpretentious and doesn't take herself so seriously.   Top

Kathy was talking about how she loves reality TV on the show they were watching the Project Runway Finale and actually rooting for Wendy and Kathy says how she wonders what Jay is like in real life cut to her doing comedy in NYC and theres Jay in the audiance and then he comes backstage and starts critsizing her wardrobe needless to say Ms Griffin was not pleased now she knows what he's really like and I don't think she was very impressed other than that I'm sorry it's over I though it was a really good show   Top
