"Producer's ties with MB and Survivor I"
I'm pretty sure that the producer of this show worked on Survivor I under Burn-it....I have alrady noticed some similarities in editing and storytelling..

First of all, in the editing we were shown similar misdirection to what MB uses as it was made to look like Meyer was getting voted off...although, Park was also shown as a viable candidate for dismissal so maybe I shouldn't put to much in this yet.

Second of all, just like Rich's "go ahead and give me the million right now" comment from Episode #1, we had a similar moment where Thomson claimed that he was gonna be the winner of this show....this is significant because where other people said that they planned to be around for a while and that they would LIKE to win, Thomson is the only one who actually came rigt out and said that he WOULD win. We should always make sure to keep this in the back of our mind when making future predictions.

Third of all, we saw the typical MB product placement as one of the recruits was used to hawk Campbell's Soup, followed by a Campbell's Soup commercial.

Given the fact that it appears that this show is influenced by SI, we should remember to note the same types of editing and storytelling patterns we use to assist in specualting/spoiling Survivor.
