"Episode 6 Preview (Many Pics)" |
First of all, you can clearly see from the previews that Morettyyyyy is next week's squad leader (SL shirt in multiple pictures). Additionally, you can see that the mission will be Operation HELL, shown here:Operation HELL (Hostage Evacuation, Laser Labyrinth) Infiltrate enemy building over land mine area Negotiate laser labyrinth Rescue hostages and evacuate via rooftop tyrollian traverse Time to complete mission: 90 minutes This means that the last mission (before the gauntlet) will be operation HERO, but I'll wait until next week to repost information about that mission. Here's the preview:
Preview Transcript
Announcer: Next week, on Boot Camp, friends become enemies. Brown: Wait, who did you think I was gonna take. Moretty: No, because she approached me first. She approached me first. Brown: I know. I know, and don't defend yourself. I just need the facts before she gets back. Announcer: On the mission, tensions rise. (Guard dog barks) Female voice: At this point in the game, people possibly will throw missions. Male D.I.: Jackson, you telling me you can't gut this up? Moretty: He just sits there, and nothing. Jackson: She's getting by on her sweetness and her little (rolls eyes). Moretty: Yeah, whatever.

1. "Now some speculation" |
The preview is edited to make it appear that someone will throw the mission... looking at precident:Hutak's mission shown with people saying "I've got it" in preview, fails in show. Morettiii's mission shown as chaos in preview, succeeds in show. Yaney's mission appears to fail in preview, succeeds in show. Jackson's mission not shown in preview, fails in show. Therefore, I think that since this week's mission is edited to appear that the mission fails, that it will likely succeed... thus, Morettyyy will probably have amnesty.
Jackson and Brown are both featured in the preview, but Brown and Morettyyy are featured talking about Whitlow (before SHE comes back)...
Consequently, I think that there is a good chance that either Jackson or Whitlow will be voted out next week... Whitlow makes sense, if it follows the pattern of voting out the injured, weakest link... It's possible, therefore that one of these two will take the other in an act of revenge... One thing's for sure... we know the final two are white... that means that Jackson is gone this week, or next week at the latest... Also note that the final two appear to be one male and one female... I think that the male is Morettiiii (dog tags, stature, skin color)... nto sure about the female, but she reminds me of Morettyyyy... could we have an all Morettyiyiyiy final??? If this is the case, I think it makes sense that Whitlow takes Jackson this week... then that means that Wolf and Brown go the next week, and we know that they hate each other (despite the bathroom conversation)... wouldn't be surprised if one of them takes the other... And who wins in the final two??? Morettiii probably has more strength, but Morettyyy may have more friends... The "jury thus far": Pupo, Thomson, Lauder, Yaney... add to this Jackson and a either Wolf or Brown... I think that Morettyyy gets tags from Thomson, Lauder, Yaney, and Brown, while Morettiii gets tags from Pupo, Jackson, and Wolf... Thus, if Brown is voted off, Morettiii needs to win 4 of the 7 physical challenges in order to get the prize; if Wolf is voted out, Morettiiii needs to win 5 of the 7... either way, I think it's entirely possible... my early vote for winner is Morettiii which fits with the dog tags from the opening credits. How's that for spoiling the show??? Responses?

>Therefore, I think that since this >week's mission is edited to >appear that the mission fails, >that it will likely succeed... >thus, Morettyyy will probably have >amnesty....well, you know how much I love patterns so I'll buy into this one....good call Sleeve. >Consequently, I think that there is >a good chance that either >Jackson or Whitlow will be >voted out next week... Whitlow >makes sense, if it follows >the pattern of voting out >the injured, weakest link...
....I agree, even before reading your thread I was thinking that Shitlow was next on the chopping block, plus the fact that you allude to later on in your post that Jackson CAN NOT make the final two. > >It's possible, therefore that one of >these two will take the >other in an act of >revenge... ...you're reading my mind....today at lunch I was thinking the exact same thing....the dog tags are very curious to say the least. > >If this is the case, I >think it makes sense that >Whitlow takes Jackson this week... >then that means that Wolf >and Brown go the next >week, and we know that >they hate each other (despite >the bathroom conversation)... wouldn't be >surprised if one of them >takes the other... makes perfect sense to me....sounds like we should put together a PTTE thread.
> >And who wins in the final >two??? Morettiii probably has more >strength, but Morettyyy may have >more friends... The "jury thus >far": Pupo, Thomson, Lauder, Yaney... >add to this Jackson and >a either Wolf or Brown... ....I need to recheck the rules But I'm pretty sure that the jury consists of only SIX members....throw in the seven events of the gauntlet and you have the desired uneven number of dogtags (7) The jury consists of the last six discharged recruits...that would be Pupo, Thomson (does medical discharge count?), Hutak, Yaney, and either Wolf or Brown...but, that is only FIVE, so where do they get the final jury member...I doubt they will use Katherine.
>How's that for spoiling the show??? > Responses?
....I like what you did, however you can go ahead and delete your analysis on the vote breakdown if I'm right about the jury members.....I'll try and check the rules tonight or tomorrow to confirm that.
PS on an unrelated note, Sleeve, my Colby thread was NOT directed at you...it wasn't directed at anyone...I jsut felt that I had been relying on my PTTE too much on the board over the last couple of weeks and that I should at least EXPLAIN why I thought my PTTE was gonna be right this week.
Great work on teh vidcaps as usual....I know we don't ahve the traffic in here like we do on the survivor board, but this is just as much fun....and a lot less to work with.

The reason that you see seven votes in my jury analysis is that I do not know whether Wolf or Brown will be the discharged recruit...
Thus, I listed the votes for the five that I am relatively sure of, plus the two that I do not know... a total of seven votes, but only six will come into play because the either Wolf or Brown will not get to vote... that's why I listed two possible outcomes... Moretti needs five physical challenges to win if Wolf is voted out (and Brown gets to be on the jury) or he needs 4 physical challenges if Brown is voted out (and Wolf gets to be on the jury). > >PS on an unrelated note, Sleeve, >my Colby thread was NOT >directed at you...it wasn't directed >at anyone...I jsut felt that >I had been relying on >my PTTE too much on >the board over the last >couple of weeks and that >I should at least EXPLAIN >why I thought my PTTE >was gonna be right this >week. >
I didn't really think that you were directing it at me, but you read my mind, and gave me a forum to try to fight against the Colby ouster... I was SO sure he wasn't going, do to story arc, that I needed to debunk it... too bad my Keith pick was wrong ...
Hmmm.... this last part is a little off topic, so self-flame: stop it Sleeeve... this is a spoiler board!

I totally agree with this assessment. >consequently, I think that there is a good chance that either >Jackson or Whitlow will be voted out next week... Whitlow >makes sense, if it follows the pattern of voting out >the injured, weakest link... Also, based on the fact that Whitlow got HUGE face-time in the last week episode. Face time in Week X means bye-bye in Week X+1. >It's possible, therefore that one of >these two will take the >other in an act of >revenge... One thing's for sure... >we know the final two >are white... Not to argue so much as ask, but how DO we know this? Can we be SURE that the opening credits pics really do show the final two? With the crappy editing by the producers, I wouldn't take that for granted. I don't disagree that Jackson won't make the Final Two, but not for this reason. >Also note that the final two appear to be one male >and one female... I think that the male is Morettiiii >(dog tags, stature, skin color)... nto sure about the female, >but she reminds me of Morettyyyy... could we have an >all Morettyiyiyiy final??? I agree, but not for the reasons you state. I think the producers are fixing the game and keeping the genders even. They would probably prefer a male/female finale, but that causes us to wonder just what the Gauntlet tests will really be? >If this is the case, I think it makes sense that >Whitlow takes Jackson this week... then that means that Wolf >and Brown go the next week, and we know that >they hate each other (despite the bathroom conversation)... wouldn't be surprised if one of them >takes the other... I wouldn't be surprised, but the producers and their (lousy) editing are showing us that Morettiii and Brown don't like each other. That was really built up a couple of episodes ago, whereas they show Brown and Wolf talking and actually seeming to be conspiring. No, I don't trust the editing as far as I can throw the camera, but I don't take it for granted that anyone hates anyone in particular. >And who wins in the final two??? Morettiii probably has more >strength, but Morettyyy may have more friends... The "jury thus >far": Pupo, Thomson, Lauder, Yaney... >add to this Jackson and a either Wolf or Brown... Lauder was VOTED out, not discharged by another recruit. Thomson was medically discharged. It is not at all clear to me exactly how this goes down. We only know for sure (from Ep. 1) that that DIRTY NASTY LEG Katherine lost her right to vote when she QUIT. >How's that for spoiling the show??? Not bad. Considering that the editors go WAY too far trying to paint a deceptive picture (whereas Survivor does it much more subtly and therefore more effectively) and then badly edit things when the rubber meets the road. I think Whitlow goes next, but who she takes is anybody's guess. I'll guess Wolf, because the producers will want to keep the black man (Jackson) as long as possible, and the same reasoning for Recruit Brown (except of course that she claims to be gay instead of being black (I say "claims to be" because I don't know if she really is or if the producers paid her green dollar bills to say that and introduce that dynamic to the show)). So this week is Whitlow Takes Wolf, next week is Brown takes Jackson (or vice versa). That guess is subject to change over the weekend. Of course my real prediction is that Recruit Lemon wins (right BluSavana?!? ) *** Contradictions don't exist. If you are faced with a contradiction, check your premises. 7. "RE: Dawg..." |
>Oh, could u explain to me what a dirty nasty leg means? *loves >all things military* BluHaHaYou may regret asking after this long winded explanation. A "leg" comes from the term "straight leg" that Airborne qualified personnel called non-Airborne soldiers. Basically, this meant that Paratroopers jumped from airplanes into a situation, whereas normal soldiers just walked or "legged" it in. So a "leg" is a person that is not airborne qualified. Technically, ANYONE who is not Airborne qualified is a "leg." But the term is usually used in a perjorative, negative, and derogatory way. I used it on Recruit Katherine because she QUIT, because of the WAY she quit, and because she quit SO SOON after Boot Camp started. Someone else could have filled that slot. By the way, Recruit Lemon gets my special exemption, and I will not be calling Recruit Lemon a dirty nasty leg. *** Contradictions don't exist. I am guessing Moretty has the best chances of going all the way, Whitlow kinda hurt her chances by injury. Wolf might be a wild card, and get the other slot. I hate him, but he can keep up. 6. "My Two Cents...." |
Well, actually, my cent and a half American, but what the hey!I agree with much of what is said above. Whitlow and Jackson got a lot of face time in the last episode, and Whitlow is pretty strongly injured...I was actually very surprised that she didn't get booted this week....Coddington may have been out for a while, but she was at 100 percent. (Well, the Coddington 100 percent anyways ;p) I don't know about the opening scene of the final 2 recruits, I don't think they would actually show them that clearly since the beginning of the show. Anyone with zooming capabilities would definitely be able to make them out when they are doing the jumping jacks at the top of the hill. Thus, I think they are actors. But, even if they are not....They look to be of comparable height. Moretty is a short girl. If it is the final 2, I would almost say it is Brown and Moretti. I didn't know how the final voting went, rather strange that it is the dismissed recruits ONLY that come back to vote, it adds an interesting twist. Not sure how beneficial it would be, though, especially those first kicked out...How can Pupo properly judge who is the better person when she hasn't seen any of them for a long time? Shakes is right, we should start a PPTTE (sp?) thread....of course, we all know that I would win, considering my *awe inspiring* 0 and 8 record in here! ;p
