It's tough to get a feel of the direction of the show after only one episode, but here's some observations from Ep. 1 that might be of some little use:1) The rules say that a person voted out then gets to turn around and take out someone with him/her. However, when they had a quit (Katherine), that bootee didn't get to do that. I suspect that might happen again, when the injured pig farmer must withdraw, then another bootee is waxed without getting revenge.
2) The women clearly are allying against those guys who actually show some adaptability/liking for the Boot Camp environment. This (IMHO) is an achilles heel of the show and will hurt it, so I look for the producers to do something about it, or else we'll see more stupid maneuvers and vote-outs.
3) Wouldn't it have been just a little better to have two 8-man teams than one 16-man team?
More later as the tape is reviewed.
