tonedef 68 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Hollywood Squares Square" 04-04-01, 09:57 PM (EST) "Show Initiation Spoilers" At the very beginning of the show, even before the contestants are introduced, there is a brief introduction as to what the show is all about. It is much like the introduction that Survivor 1 used to have, explaining the game. During this introduction, they show a lot of scenes of recruits, doing their various tasks around the camp. Unfortunately, I don't have vidcap capabilities; I did tape the show, but I am unable to make reproductions of the shots. I am hoping that someone here would have that ability, because 3 scenes in particular stood out to me. 1) There is a scene of 6 contestants standing on the beach doing jumping jacks. Beside them stands a drill seargent, and it is possible that there are 2 seperate groups doing the work, the other being off camera. However, from what I have seen, they do it all in one location thus far. This could possibly be a scene of the final 6 contestants. 3 are men, 3 are women. The men I recognize as Jackson, Thompson, and I am 90 percent sure the 3rd is Meyer (somewhat obscured in the back). Of the women, it is harder to tell. The one closest to the camera appears to be one of the 2 remaining short women, wheras the other 2 are of medium build, possibly any of the other 3. 2) When they are discussing that someone is elected as squad leader, it shows a scene of someones face being painted up. I take this person to be the old plumber (can't remember his name.) I am wondering if this has any significance...if so, it would mean that he cannot be kicked off until he has been squad leader. 3) Finally, there is a scene of dismissal hill, with the recruits on there. I have paused and slow motioned this scene, and I believe there to be only 10 contestants standing there. Unfortunately, without vidcap and zooming technology, I cannot make out who any of them are...however, if we can move in here and witness the recruits, we could safely judge who will be ousted next week. I am sure there will be other scenes, those are just the 3 that definitely jumped out at me, especially the picture of 6. Does anyone out there have vidcap abilities?!? Any feedback would be great! I am fairly sure the woman far away is Coddington....nobody left of the women has hair that dark with such a similar build. I don't think the far away guy is Lauder...that is a HUGE man, and it can only be Thomson. The third guy towards the back has to be Meyer...he has a very set jaw, the only other possibility could be Wolf (but Wolf is a lot shorter than that). The woman closest to the camera looks to me like either Morrissey or the other short girl, while the one in the middle looks to be of similar height. It definitely looks like the 3 guys are Jackson, Meyer and Thomson. As for the women...the one furthest from the camera looks to be Coddington, while the one closest to the camera looks to be Witlow, based on what I saw of her in the show. The woman in the middle...I am not that sure of her identity, but, based on her relative size (being much shorter than the guys around her) that would identify her as Morissey, considering that Hutak is a lot taller and leaner. This puts this final 6 as Jackson, Meyer, Thomson, Coddington, Witlow and Hutak. Is this possible, given the evidence thus far? We have already seen during Mission training that the group is regularly separated into smaller groups....to me this looks like a photo of one of those smaller groups getting disciplined for something or other. I think we should file this one away for awhile and if after a few rounds those 6 are still in it we can revisit this "spoiler".
