AyaK 10083 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 08-14-09, 09:14 AM (EST) "Psycho is as psycho does" Neighbors of the Gosselin household called the police on Kate last night as she tried to get into the house, despite it being Jon's week with the kids. Apparently she was loudly accusing Jon from outside of having an affair with one of the nannies, Stephanie Santoro. Kate, who wanted them to escort her into the house when Jon wouldn't let her in after her screaming fit. According to Jon, she claimed that this was her house and Jon couldn't keep her out. Under the temporary custody agreement, however, the police told Kate that Jon was right and that she had to leave. And so she did, weeping all the way to the front page of the tabloids again. I'm certainly not an admirer of Kate's, but I do feel sorry for her. I also understand how she might be concerned about Jon's judgement as to who should be looking after the kids, especially given his recent behaviour and obvious fondness for 20-something females. I don't feel the least bit sorry for Kate, just as I don't feel sorry for most self-absorbed hypocrites. Kate talking about putting the children first is no less hilarious than Jon talking about it. For each of them, the kids are a revenue stream, nothing more, nothing less. Kate is the stereotype of the mom from hell. But I also don't feel sorry for Jon, because the whole deal with Ed Hardy stinks -- he's trying to earn money for himself using an asset that he doesn't control (the show), and moving to NYC just shows that he wants the publicity. Basically, Kate is trying to present herself as a wronged woman, instead of her real persona as a nutcase deluxe. Jon, meanwhile, acts like he's actually done something for which he should be famous. I know additional places can be more expensive than staying together, but all you need on your days out of the house is a studio apartment or less. It isn't like you have to take all your stuff with you with each swap. Most of your stuff can stay in the house (or go into storage if you don't want someone touching it). I give him credit for not going to that quack Dr. Phil. Other than that, this interview was a disaster for Jon. Can you imagine saying about the mother of your eight children on national TV that you love your girlfriend that you've been dating for two months more than you ever loved her? Doesn't he realize that his kids are going to see that? Doesn't he have any sense at all? You know, it's fair to say something like "we grew apart". Anyone who has ever seen the show can understand that. But these full slams are designed to do nothing but wound ... and who they'll be wounding are the kids, who don't want to have to deal with such conflict. Jon was always the less comfortable of the couple in the spotlight. But right now it seems like he's just looking to say as many stupid things as possible. The whole "bye-bye twenties" comes across as nothing but the sulking of a man looking for his second childhood. I wouldn't have expected a person with eight children to react like a person without a care in the world.
