PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 05-25-02 AT 04:06 PM (EST)http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hollywoodreporter/television/brief_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1498030 Screenings wrap early for Canadians May 22, 2002 After watching dozens of pilots at this week's Los Angeles Screenings, Canadian broadcasters are set to do the bulk of their buying by tonight, making it the earliest "wrap" ever at the market. "We're thrilled to see quite a few action-adventure series and quite a lot in the sci-fi and science fantasy area," said Jay Switzer, president of Chum Television Ltd., the Toronto-based broadcaster looking this week to renew reality series "Temptation Island" and "The Bachelor." The Canadian contingent has existing program deals with the studios, so CTV Inc., for example, is busily combing through offerings from Buena Vista, while programmers with Global Television will acquire a raft of product from 20th Century Fox and Columbia TriStar. (Etan Vlessing and Steve Brennan) ... we can but hope ... AND Telemundo is going to air a Spanish-language version of the show this fall: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/business/3287659.htm Telemundo viewers will be going to La Isla de la Tentación (Temptation Island). In collaboration with Fox Television Studios, Telemundo will present a Spanish-language version of the reality show in which a tropical island is the setting for romantic intrigue. ...but, since I don't speak the language, I'm afraid I won't be watching. However, it indicates that the show isn't dead yet.
