OK, it took me some time too, but here's the play by play:Vidcap #1 - Umm... Corbin Bernsen (this one's a little obvious) Most recently seen in "L.A. Law: The Movie." Before that, other than guest-starring on a few episodes of CBS' "JAG," I haven't seen this guy since the cult-favorite "Major Leagues" movies (yes, even the direct to video one) Vidcap #2 - Kathy Griffin and supermodel Frederique. Now someone explain to me why the SUPERMDOEL is buried underwater and it's KATHY GRIFFIN who we get to see in the swinsuit? Say goodbye to Frederique guys, that's the last you'll see of her in this preview (that can't be a good sign.) Vidcap #3 - Some kid named Erik von Detten. Apparently he's one of the stars of ABC's new "Dinotopia" show, so let the cross-promotion begin. Vidcap #6 - Look like Erik taking a dive... Vidcap #8 - Say hello to Michael Boatman, otherwise known as one of the hardest working supporting actors in television. This guy's been playing Carter on ABC's "Spin City" show for 7-8 years as well as also playing Stanley on HBO's just-cancelled "Arliss" show for the last 7-8 years. Apparently Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen must have refused this gig... Vidcap #9 & 11 - Kathy and Erik digging up the mummy... Vidcap #12 & 13 - Said mummy.... Vidcap #15 - Baldwin Brother Stephen. You might remember him from his appearance on "Fear Factor" or such other Oscar-worthy performances such as "Slap Shot 2," "The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas," "The Sex Monster," "Half Baked," Pauly Shore's "Bio-Dome," or the late-night movie channel favorite "Friends & Lovers" (co-starring Claudia Schiffer, Clint Eastwood's daughter Alison, Robert Downey Jr., and one-time up-and-coming starlet Jamie Luner.) Vidcap #16 - Looks like said-Baldwin goofball to me, but who knows... Vidcap #17 & 18 - Kim Coles... I have no clue who this is, apparently she's on FOX's "Living Single" show and she's NOT to be confused with either the "Living Single" actress who's formerly "The Facts of Life" Tottie or the OTHER "Living Single" actress who formerly was a big female rap star.

Although he's barely 20, he's been a long-time Disney Channel star, and Disney's been building his career for years. A couple years ago, he was voted the most popular male actor on the Disney Channel. He was and occasionally still is in the Disney made-for-cable series "So Weird." He was the voice of Sid (the evil next-dooe neighbor) in Toy Story, and he's also one of the voices in Disney's animated series "Recess." He starred in two made-for-Disney-Channel original movies, "Escape to Witch Mountain" (a remake of the 1975 Disney film, with a new-age message tacked on) and "Brink!" (Hans Brinker on rollerblades), which was one of the network's big hits. Last year Disney gave him a main supporting role in its surprise hit "The Princess Diaries." However, he's now failed twice with ABC series (the first flop was "Odd Man Out," in which he was the second banana), and so Disney may want to ensure that they raise his profile before the next attempt. Geez, I can't believe I know so much about this kid. I guess I've watched too much Disney Channel myself!

This is how I see it, the video editors are smart. They can make things appear to be what they aren't. Alot of the people from last seasons Mole 2 even said things were portrayed different then the reality that was actually happening. So I don't necessarily think the commercials reveal too much. I hope this season ABC has more intelligent clues...I remember last season we took apart and analyzed each freakin frame of the show when the clues that we thought were too obvious were actually the real clues!

As far as clues go, isn't it likely that they'll allude to the stars' former roles? For example, there are references to Spin City if it's Boatman--maybe the last names of costars or key elements of popular episodes? Unfortunately, I don't know enough about most of these people to pick up on those. Maybe we should think about beefing up the thread on stalker info for the players...

Actually, I just saw the commercial. They only show a few players (Fredrique, Corbin, Kim, and I think Steven?) saying something to the effect of "I am the mole," but no one actually says it (I think Kim says she's "mole-icious"). The words that get stamped over them are different every time. Aside from the "Fake" and "Fraud" Someone's says "Con Artist" (I think Steven?). Possible that the commercial tells the truth and these people are exactly what it says--fakes, frauds, con artists--but not the mole?
