Here's a link to Rodman's basketball career. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/dennis_rodman/ This is a list of his career highlights (also at given link). It may not be worth much, but maybe some number-crunchers out there can get started spoiling! After all, if, like last year, a number of a plane in the background can be a clue, then just about ANYTHING can be considered.

Here's information that Molecluefinder had in a new thread. I'm adding it to our list here so that it doesn't get lost as the game progresses. As You watched the show...at one point there was a aerial view of the town they where playing in. As you see the view in the corner of the screen appeared "Playa del Carmen". Now to me I think this was a big clue. Now granted I don't know the towns in the Yucatan...but it seems fishy. "Playa del Carmen" I took as Player=Dennis Rodman since he was a basketball player...and I took Carmen=Carmen Electra..since Dennis Rodman was married to her once. I may be totally off base with this but does anyone agree?? Does anyone disagree?? Id love to hear your comments

Reasons I think Dennis is the Mole. 1. "Mole on Board" sign. In his basketball career Dennis was best known as one of the best rebounders in the game. Rebounds are also known as "Boards."
2. Dennis' nickname was the Worm. So...
2a. The wall with all the fish was focused on. How do you catch fish with a worm. 2b. In the truth/lie game the artifact that was real was a jug used to make tequila. There are brands of tequila that has a worm in it. Peace

23. "Dennis FOMO as indicated by the Taxi items..." |
This last one's a bit of a stretch, but I think it would be great if Dennis were the mole...I'll reiterate a couple of the taxi clues already mentioned, and then add my ridiculous 2 cents. 1. Mole on board sign - Dennis collected boards in the NBA 2. Luchador (mexian wrestler) figurines - Dennis had a brief stint as a professional wrestler 3. Chihuahua bobblehead - Dennis is probably the only one of this group to have had a bobblehead made of their likeness. I'm still trying to find a link between Dennis and the chicken/roosters, but I suppose note everything has to be a clue.... Is there a thread with an inventory of the things that were in/on the van? That would be a useful tool if (and only if) any of the items are their for more than simple entertainment purposes... MEmacmur

I'm really not sure what to think. I do think that all of you have some GREAT thoughts. If I didn't think that Dennis was s unpredictable you may have convinced me that Dennis is the Mole. On the other hand, is ABC banking on the fact that everyone will think he is too unpredictable therefore being the perfect mole? Hmm.

27. "Entertainment Weekly" |
In the January 16th issue of Entertainment Weekly, Rodman is interviewed in the Stupid Questions feature. There were a couple of Mole related questions.Q. You seem incredibly sedate in the Celebrity Mole episodes that I've seen. Are you just hungover the entire time? A. I probably had a few cocktails, but most of the shows I did, it was so damn hot that I had to, like, quench my thirst on something. I wasn't really paying attention to what was going on with that damn show. I don't even know what a f---ing mole is, to be honest with you. Well, "episodes" indicates more than one, so you can read into that what you will. His use of the word "most," also indicates that he lasts more than 2 episodes. The fact that he doesn't seem to have a clue as to the premise of the show makes me think it would be unlikely that he would last very long, unless he is the mole, or all the others are incredibly stupid. Of course, it could all be an act, I have no idea what kindof smarts this guy might have. Q. At one point in the show you refer to yourself as the "Man of Love," which is odd because I thought you were the "Man Who Loves to Piss Off His Neighbors at Four in the Morning." A. Well you're right about that. My neighbors don't like me at all. That was it in reference to The Mole.

Did anyone happen to see Dennis Rodman on The View? A non-Moleron friend of mine said she saw Rodman on The View recently, and he said that he had "a really good time." 32. "Molish or not-so-molish behaviour from episode 2?" |
Dennis certainly is an interesting fellow. Some slightly molish activities I deduced from his actions during episode 2: 1) choosing to be in a red Bull pinata (Chicago bulls connection?). Also, he avoided having his pinata broken until after the exemption had been released. Supposing the mole knew which pinata had the exemption, would they consider 10,000 out of the pot as enough sabotage? Maybe... then again, seeing Corbin break two of the sticks, maybe he figured he'd break all 3 and that would end the game! 2) Stating that he didn't want an exemption. Yeah, you may want to prove you're smart, but what was up with that?!! And some rather unmolish behaviour, enough such that I no longer beleive he could be the mole, no matter how many weird clues I can invent that point to him: His reaction and behaviour during the execution. His leg looked like it was going to twitch him into the atmosphere when he first sat down, and he seemed awful darn excited when he found out he was still alive. And he's probably got the least acting experience out of the bunch. MEmacmur

33. "Hmmm?" |
Does Dennis understand the game or not? I am starting to wonder if maybe Dennis was made the mole because they didn't think he would understand the game. So if they make him the mole he just has to follow directions. The behind the scenes people can just direct Dennis and tell him what to do and when. Then he can be laid back and not have to think too much about how the game is played. He will be around until the end like the producers probably want.

Okay, another clue. Someone on another message board noted that during the Taxi Ride, the Mexican version of stop signs were shown, with the word "Alto" on them. "Alto" is Spanish for Stop, but it also means "tall." Rodman is the tallest, isn't he?

41. "Dennis a genius?" |
I was watching Corbin on The Craig Kilborn Show lastnight. He said that Dennis is a genius. He said Dennis is one of those guys that is a whack job but a near genius like Robert Downey Jr and others.Corbin said he understands why Dennis was so good at free throws and basketball because he would be standing there with the whole trig thing going thru his head before he threw the ball. Craig only asked Corbin about Stephen and Dennis. So we didn't get any info on the others. Corbin said he was executed because he is an idiot and over examines everything and just loves to instigate stuff. Craig asked him if he tried instigating anything with Dennis. Corbin said Dennis is so laid back. But Dennis' wife was trying to instigate things by inviting Corbin in the hot tub when Dennis was sitting right there. Corbin said they were all really wasted on tequila and they ended up in the hot tub practically naked and Dennis did a back flip into 4 feet of water. Corbin said he probably flunked the quiz because he had been so wasted the night before on tequila that the last thing he remembers is standing naked on his balcony looking down at the others. Craig mentioned that Stephen had been on the show recently and that Stephen and Kathy Griffin just hate each other. All Corbin said about Stephen was that he is a born again Christian but he still sleeps with women. Corbin didn't understand how that works. But he said that is what Stephen yaps about... being born again. Corbin said nobody has to watch the show anymore because he is gone now.

I saw that Mark Curry had two grease pencil numbers on his arm 38 over 2, just before using the power boat. If this was divided it would be 19 which reversed is 91 - Rodman's jersy number on the Bulls. I have no idea why the numbers were there, but and what they related to.

Behavior still falls into the "He's either the Mole, or he's Dennis Rodman" behavior.Possible Moleability: Clucks for Bucks - Didn't seem to be trying all that hard, even though his pair made the most money for the pot. Keshia was the one running around like a chicken with her head cut off (sorry, had to go there). Cost the team $4,000 because of the simultaneous hat foul. Mexican Wrestler Maze - Didn't pick up the belt when he first entered the maze, meaning he had to double-back, and that gave the wrestlers time to track him. Fell down right before getting caught. Was willing to take $5,000 out of the pot to check his belt for an exemption, even though he said last episode that he didn't want an exemption during the Exemption or Bust game. Leftovers - He picked at his food. Does he look like the kind of guy who picks at his food? No, he's got the body of a guy who eats quite hefty meals. Did he know about the task and want to make things harder for Mark? Snarky, smart, S7 Anti-Bootee Champ

Dennis showed alot more mole-like actions this week to me. It seemed to be him that screwed up the 9 & 6 on the hats. Plus he was "scaring" the chickens rather than catching them. And Dennis is suppose to be this near genius that is so observant. Yet he doesn't pick up the belt. That seemed really odd to me. And this is the man that kept money out of the pot when he refused to take the exemption last week. Then this week he takes money out of the pot to look for an exemption that he has said he doesn't even want. Strange. And I thought it was really odd how little food he ate too. He doesn't strike me as the picky eater type. Although Stephen kept referring to the fact that Dennis didn't get upset when he got caught in the maze. Did Stephen vote for Dennis as mole? Stephen was executed. And who was in the tie with Stephen?

It was interesting how he blamed Angie for the belt thing, but Ahmad told him prior to the challenge...Look at the money he sabotaged this week: $4,000 (Chickens) $20,000 (Maze) $10,000 (Didn't eat his food) $5,000 (Opened the exemption package, even though he claims he doesn't want them?) That's $39,000 just for him. I really think that he could have won the Maze challenge... A 2004 IceCat creation

LAST EDITED ON 01-22-04 AT 03:15 PM (EST)LAST EDITED ON 01-22-04 AT 01:19 PM (EST) I have seen a lot of my own reasoning being said throught the threads. Here are two things that I don't think have been said: 1)The pinatas I thought represented the colors that he has changed his hair ex pink. 2) In the shot of the next episode they have to eat a worm ..his nickname in college was the "worm". It could be a coincedence since they are in Mexico. But I am convinced. There are other reasons but like I said they have already been mentioned in previous threads. These are the ones that I thougt I hadn't seen anyone mention.

I really am starting to agree with this sentiment. I'll stay a TraceyFOMO until she gets executed, but Dennis has definitely jumped up to #2 on my suspect list.Still, with reference to point 1), I'm not sure what color Dennis hasn't dyed his hair!! There certainly have been a few strange coiincidences insofar as challenges containing items that point to Dennis -> pinatas (color or the fact that one was a bull), having wrestlers in the ring (And Dennis having wrestled), and the upcoming worm-eating challenge. And if you want to stretch some more -> they showed everyone riding horses (Rodman played for the Spurs). That and his strange behaviour seem to naturally cost the pot money. Not blatant sabotage, but low effort resulting in little benefit -> the more subtle (and IMHO) more molish behaviour. Or Dennis being Dennis! MEmacmur

I just rewatched the episode. Dennis blames Angie for not telling him to pick up the belt in the maze. He says nobody told him he had to pick it up. But Ahmad clearly told them all that they had to pick up the belts and carry them. So Dennis is either trying to throw the suspician off himself because he is the mole. Or he was not paying attention. But I keep hearing how good Dennis is with details. So this does make me wonder. I keep thinking more and more Dennis could be the mole. And why did he assume Stephen was leaving and not Keshia?

First, if Dennis is so smart, and thinks Keisha is the mole, why would he do something like jump up and essentially give it away to any other player who was even doing half the examination we do on the boards! Second, if he and Stephen thought Keisha was the mole, and he still believed, at execution time, that they were right, there's no way he and Stephen would've tied for last place. Unless ALL the players knew Keisha was the mole, in which case Dennis never could've known he & Stephen tied, because it would've depended on the number of questions they got right after identifying the mole, not actually choosing the mole. Hope that kinda makes sense . . . I personally thought he just wanted Stephen gone, whether he's the mole or not!Sara

67. "RE: Why Rodman is the mole" |
This is what I wrote in id #45: I saw that Mark Curry had two grease pencil numbers on his arm 38 over 2, just before using the power boat. If this was divided it would be 19 which reversed is 91 - Rodman's jersy number on the Bulls. I have no idea why the numbers were there and what they related to in reference to the game.

What bugs me about this is Mark's reaction. What would they have told him to put these numbers on his arm. If they are to point to Dennis it seems odd that they would put them on Mark's arm. Did someone walk up to him and tell him they had to put these numbers on his arm? Very confusing?

I was a Dennis FOMO until tonight. For some reason, I now think Dennis came into this thinking he'd be eliminated on day one and get a free vacation. Now he might win and he's getting excited. I think the ties were with him for 0 right because he's going at random and getting all the questions wrong faster than the others are choosing their answers. Kathy did well last time being fast and wrong.

I think Dennis does think he knows who the mole is. I'm not saying he is right. But I think that he thinks he knows who the mole is. I do not believe he is the mole. But I think he has gotten more into the game than he expected.

Are you referring to the fact that Rodman's nickname is "worm"? My husband, who does not normally watch the show, said how ironic when the whole tequila-worm part came on, being his nickname and all. Could be a clue, I think.

77. "Rodman & Baldwin Connection" |
Sorry if this has already been brought up...as I'm sure many others have already realized it - but both Baldwin and Rodman were in a movie entitled "Cutaway" about 4 years ago - the movie itself contains a lot of jumping out of airplanes - all which appears to be done by the actors themselves (I mean lets face it, Rodman is nuts - I know he'd be up for jumping out of airplanes all day...) To me, that tells me that Rodman and Baldwin spent a lot of time together learning about jumping out of planes - and prob. atleast got to know each other well enough to feel comfortable forming a coalition together (remember, the editing is fun in that they don't have to show you everything)....another weird not so "earth shattering" note about the movie "Cutaway" is that it also starred Tom Berenger who played Jake Taylor in the Major League movies with good old Corbin Bernsen.....

LAST EDITED ON 02-01-04 AT 11:19 AM (EST)Dennis gave a strange little speech during one of his confessionals. It started off "I will be here 'til the duration of this game." Well, if he's the MOLE, that's a given. On Ep. 1, Dennis had another interesting quote, something like "I don't care who the Mole is, I just want the money." Well, if you don't really CARE who the Mole is, I don't think you could get very far. And Dennis has gone amazingly far. *Sorry if I can't spell!

"Dennis gave a strange little speech during one of his confessionals. It started off "I will be here 'til the duration of this game." Well, if he's the MOLE, that's a given." I agree with joannie on this, and they showed Dennis talking about his exemption after he got it, he was wearing a red shirt. I'm not sure, but I think the red shirt he had on in the confessional is the same red shirt he was wearing in the translation game. I don't have tivo andthat could be his fav shirt. But, if it is the same shirt, how could he have know that he would get an extension before the game happend?
Also, all of Dennis's predictions about who was going home during the quiz have been correct, but this time he didn't say Tracy would be voted out, he said very non-Dennis like "you are going to make it, you'll be here." But she didn't.One more thing, it seems as if 2, 7, and 13 seem to be important numbers in this game (sorry if already said) Ohh, Did anyone catch all the first letters of the first sign Ahmad held up in the translation game? They seememd to show that sign alot. phew.............

88. "RE: Dennis Rodman" |
I don't know. Now that Tracey has been executed, I've decided to fall back on the player with the most strange clues pointing their way - Dennis. Also - did anyone notice that during the Graduation game, one of the questions was how many minutes is one hour plus 31 minutes. An easy question, but the answer (91) also happens to be the number Mr. Rodman wore while playing for the Chicago Bulls. A strange cooincidence that goes with the red bull pinata or more production people and writers messing with me?!!! My only problem is that in the tequila episode, Dennis seemed to try the hardest of all the players in the game to do well. Either well-placed misdirection (he was able to screw up the art game later on), or an indication that he IS a player. Maybe all 3 left are moles. That would help explain why I am having such a hard time making up my mind. I guess I don't want it to be Mark because his actions have been too obvious. And I don't want it to be Angie because they let a model be the mole last year. Bah. Go Dennis. Be the mole. MEmacmur

I think rodman is the mole. My wife and i watch this show, and she mentioned that it was funny that rodman's nickname is the worm, and he was eating worms. the pinata he was in was a bull, and we didn't notice that it was his hair colours, though. The telling one seems to be for me, the graduate, where all the questions were fairly easy, except that new jersey capital question. I didn't know it was trenton, but rodman said that he was born in trenton. The 91 minute question was out of place for the other questions, also. My wife thought that rodman's jersey number was 91. too many coincidences? could be we think that he is the mole

Sorry if someone already said this but.....I yahooed(is that a word!?) Dennis + seven + 7 and I found: 1) Named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team seven times (1988-89 to 1992-93, 1994-95, 1995-96) and to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 1993-94
Also, isn't he almost 7 feet tall??
I believe firmly that Dennis is the mole (he ate worms!!)

Did anyone else notice the first place Dennis put the picture? He put up a green player card in the bottom left hand corner where each mole was.

So is Dennis the Mole or the winner? Remember last season, at one point, Kathy and Frederique switched seats.

101. "RE: Dennis Rodman" |
Interesting episode...The fact that Dennis was the only one to open their case is most interesting. Very molish. Or a man unable to resist the urge to peek. The very fact that he had virtually nothing correct seems to indicate that either he chose not to study the pictures (looked at it, said 'what the heck?' <editted because we all know what kind of vocabulary Dennis would probably really use>, and put it back) or he opened it deliberately simply to sabotage the game. To misdirect or because he is the mole is the next question.... this is why Dennis would make a good mole. Even though he's my prime suspect, I can't feel 100% he is the mole. Also - right before they went to advertisments teasing the opening of the briefcases, I could have sworn I saw a black mole-print (well, finger-print) on the center briefcase. Which was Angies. ??? Was I hallucinating ?? I suppose I should move this part of the spec over to the Angie thread... MEmacMOLE!

When the players got their briefcases at the begining Angie noticed his shoes. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe they were Air Jordans. Of course he was Dennis' teammate with the Bulls.

I wondered if Ahmad and the cigars was similar to Anderson Cooper and his sandwiches. I remember Anderson was always eating and we would wonder what it meant. Ahmad has his cigars. But Corbin was always smoking them too and he is out of the game.

105. "Access Hollywood" |
I was just watching Access Hollywood. They were talking about the final mole tonight. They asked Tracey on the couch who is the mole. She said it just has to be Dennis. Then they show Dennis saying he is not the mole. Then Stephen says he hopes it is Dennis because then he can smack him. Then they show all 3 inside their closets. And they show the losers watching as the right door opens.
